I stumbled across the site when looking for something totally unrelated. Saw the word 'adult' and immediately clicked. I don't do social media at all and generally avoid giving out my email address and really had no idea what to expect. I started reading forums and my first thought was 'what a great place to post flirty smartass comments.' It may have been a year or more before I submitted anything for the site; my first story was actually a poem that got some nice comments and I was really surprised and probably a little embarrassed at how good that felt. Over time I added a few friends (or more accurately, they added me) and I met some pretty special people.
These days my main motivation is to keep in touch with a small number of people who are very important to me. Hopefully I will find some time to write again soon but I guess for me Lush kind of feels like home, this familiar and comfortable place that never fails to lift my mood.

I had this flash image of the Hunger Games but the winner is nothing more than a sexual tool. I'd think there would be a broad variety of attire/grooming but that sort of applies today's standard in that I'm thinking the women would have a variety of tastes and there is no set 'uniform' for the males. If i think more about this as developing over centuries I'd see the attire and grooming standards more unified. Its a great premise. It would make a great historical series too but sounds like you already have some interesting ideas. Make sure you post us a link here.

I haven't written a lot but I'd guess about 50% of my stuff is complete fiction, the rest varies in factual content but often I'll use a real life experience then take it beyond the actual reality. With maybe one or two exceptions I wouldn't want anyone to recognize themselves in a story of mine so I tend to change up details considerably.
