Thus, if a member has no one blocked, then they won't be affected. If a member has someone blocked, then that person wouldn't see the posts from the person they have blocked and the person they blocked won't see what they post either (unless someone quotes them.) You do understand the bulk of the issues stem from the forums.

This has been discussed before. If you block someone and are no longer seeing their posts, you are altering your own experience on Lush by restricting what you can and can't see. If this block extended to restricting what the blocked person sees as well, you're affecting someone else's Lush experience without their consent.

The block feature is what it is, and can be used or not as people see fit.
Hi and welcome to Lush!

Congrats on getting your first (and soon to be your second) stories published.

At the moment, the only images that can be assigned to stories are in the form of a single cover image at the top of the story page. These look great, but we are looking into possibly creating 'visual stories' of some description at some point. These would be intended for people who wished to include multiple illustrations, photographs, etc.

So, for the time being you can only display one per publication, but stay tuned. smile

No, lol.

Thanks for sharing your opinion on what you think makes a good story.

I wasn’t speechless but what I said was not stellar... I kind of fucked it up. I’m hoping she double downs on knowing I like her and thinks it’s cute. Otherwise I’m toast.

Shameless thread bump

But the first 3 URL Scanners in the link you provided *ALL* indicate that the domain is a known malware site or has malicious software.

It's not uncommon for a few false positives to pop up. It depends on the accuracy of each scanning engine used by the site. Either way, the website has nothing to do with Lush. The warning messages you are seeing are generated by your web browser.

Edit:
I actually took another look at the URL and there aren't even any images hosted on it. Google don't even flag it as a malicious site and the Chrome browser is there's. No idea why yours should be doing this.

And I take it back, upon testing it again, I remembered that the issue pasting from word with the word button was completely different. Yes, it will retain the italics. The problem is, it inserts those extra wide carriage returns. I thought it was double, but it's actually just double wide.

And you're definitely single space paragraphing your Word document?
Quote by RejectReality
No such luck. I've even gone so far as to paste something into Wordpad, strip all the formatting from Wordperfect out of it by saving it as a plain .txt file, then opening that in Word, putting my italics in, and pasting with the Paste From Word button.

No italics.

Probably because I still use an ancient version of Word.

I've had to manually insert my italics at the point of submission since day 1. I spent a couple of hours one night with one short story, trying every possible combination of program and paste button, to no avail.

What version of Word are you using?
Quote by RejectReality
Unfortunately, it's not that simple. No matter what program I paste from, or what button I use, it loses my italics. Even if a find/replace worked to eliminate the extra carriage return, I'd then have to go through and put back in my italics one by one.

If you single space paragraph your Word document, copy it all, and then use the 'Paste from Word' function on the story submission screen it works fine. No double spacing and the text formatting is retained.

I can understand why you as a mod feels that way, and what your saying isn’t lost on me. But making the point that I didn’t go about addressing my grievance in the best way possible is really just a way to completely ignore my grievance.

Your grievance has already been acknowledge and is being addressed, therefore it isn’t being completely ignored. Her point is valid. Messaging the moderator who processed your story submission would have been a better way to handle this. It’s what most people do as a first course of action.
Congratulations, Hannah! You're a great moderator, a wonderful person, and you have a lovely bottom.

Well damn, sign me up for one of those beauties!

Oooooooooooh, message...

Me either! I like happy endings...

So, you're all warm and relaxed after having a long, deliciously slow massage. Your skin is slick with oil that smells sweet like jasmine, and all of the tension in your muscles has melted away with the firm pressure applied by the massage therapist. You could easily fall asleep and drift away on a cloud of contentment until you feel those familiar hands gliding further and further up your inner thigh. You're not sure how far they'll go before stopping but it feels too good to question it.

Without warning your body tenses as those now tentative fingers tiptoe over your sensitive flesh. You consider your options, debating whether or not to say anything, until your mind goes completely blank like someone just turned off the light. Under the towel that now covers very little of your modesty, they cupped your bare pussy in the palm of their warm hand and it feels so fucking good. You bite into your bottom lip to keep from crying out as a gentle back-and-forth motion applies the most arousing friction.

Your hips rolls of their own accord as you're lovingly stroked. You can feel the heat in your cheeks as you blush, and it radiates across your body, tickling down your spine until it reaches where they are touching. Your hard nipples press into the soft towel you are lying on and every minute movement results in little bursts of electric pleasure.

Your pussy is already wet which allows your masseur to plunge two fingers inside you with a single lazy thrust. You are now at their mercy. All you can do to keep from screaming in ecstasy and giving the game away to all within earshot is bite down harder on that poor bottom lip of yours and clench the white towel covering the table as tightly as you can in your white-knuckled fists. They know what they're doing. They've done it before. No one could so perfectly stretch your hot little cunt and manipulate your aching clit who had not practiced the art of pleasing a woman.

Sensing the end, they place their other hand on the small of your back and firmly hold you down as you begin to climax. Your back arches, your hips buck, your legs kick, and still they continue, never letting up until your exhausted body can take no more and it shakes off the last of your orgasm with a heavy sigh before slumping dead-weight.

And if you're very lucky, you might just have a massage therapist kind enough to lick you clean afterward.

i could make your pens smell pretty if you ask nicely. ;)

Ooo, new story idea! Blondie and the Mont Blanc. biggrin

What's a pen?

It’s like that pencil except it doesn’t smell as pretty.
Picked up a bottle of Kyo-No-Oto Imayouiro ink yesterday. At £20 for a 30ml bottle it is eye-wateringly expensive for a super premium Japanese ink, but is it ever pretty!

Any email client that offers a search feature for your mail will have to "analyse" it in order to do so. If you have your emails stored on your own machine then your locally installed client can do that, but if your email is stored on a server, that search algoritm will probably run on that server as well.
Lush has such a search feature, but I don't think Gav is "analyzing" our messages every time we search for something (though that might explain why he's always so busy). The ! terms might allow them to do such a thing though (if there's no law preventing them).

Tutanota has managed to develop a full search feature that works on the client side only using indexes. This ensures that the server never sees any unencrypted data or any search meta data. Clever stuff!

I believe Protonmail is working on something similar also.

How did they move them out of reach of these rules? The rules apply to the data of EU residents.

The policy change doesn't affect EU residents, it affects users from Africa, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

They've changed their terms of service so that these users are governed by Facebook Inc in the US rather than Facebook Ireland. Otherwise, they would be required to apply the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to these countries outside the EU.

US laws are less restrictive and this change means Facebook users outside Europe will no longer be able to file complaints with the Irish data protection commissioner or in the Irish courts.

I love how companies like Facebook, and Google, are now starting to have to show some accountability.

It's disgusting what they get away with.

On the coattails of Mark Zuckerberg's testimony to Congress, you'd think he'd make an effort to lose the 'bad guy' image but Facebook just moved 1.5 billion users out of reach of the new European privacy law GDPR to avoid future liability if it breaks the new data protection rules.

recently changed their privacy policy. If a privacy policy looks like this, get a new email provider!

Try one that will respect your privacy:

I actually just put my hands on my chest to gauge how long my nipples would be if they were finger-sized (pretty long, it turns out). I imagine that they would be just flailing side to side throughout most of the day, which would feel strange at first, but I think I'd get used to it. On the other hand, I don't think I would be able to pick anything up ever again if I had nipple-sized fingers, which would be frightening XD

So, I'd rather have finger-sized nipples! What about you? smile

Probably the same, lol.
Hi Jonathan,

Welcome to Lush!

Would you rather have finger sized nipples or nipple sized fingers?
