It must be. You're on to something, Jack, as some people don't quite grasp what a diner is.
For the diner challenged: A diner is a step above a fast food restaurant but a step down from fine dining establishments. You might have a server named, Flo, who is chewing gum and asks if you want some pecan pie for dessert. A diner will have a counter with stools, booths, and possibly some tables. The food is not served wrapped in paper and a server will come and take your order and refill your coffee or tea. And usually, you can see the cook at the grill. And it is very rare that you can find a diner that has a drive-thru window service. It's a sit down and eat place.

My latest is 89,786. I was counting incorrectly. I now calculate that I will be Famous in over a year. Bummer. But I will be a Veteran on Jun 9th. 5 years here. I've also noticed that my view count drops drastically when I am not posting stories. So I need to get into writing again.
By the way, I click on other people's profile often. I am into getting info that is interesting about friends, associates, and just people I don't know very well. I'm sure I've clicked on all of the people on this present page more often than they have checked into mine. Perhaps I am just more inquisitive.

I think with 22 RRs out of 56 published stories, NymphWriter has the sort of recognition the rest of us would kill for.

Fuck no! It's shit enough not getting a mention - but finding out you're 50th out of 50?
Might put you off writing ever again.

I most certainly would be tentative around any defiant pussy, regardless of any particular scents.

Gav coded a "Top 10" so I couldn't add any more! To have a Top 15, is very unusual. You are listed at the top of this thread as a runner-up!
If he codes an extra 5 spaces, for each new competition with only a Top 10, there will be empty spaces for those extra 5. Unless he does some complicated jiggery pokery. I can ask if it's possible if you wish?

I thought "Get Out" was quite overrated. I heard such good things, so maybe it was just over-expectations. Colossal was unique (and filmed in Vancouver, which tends to raise things up in my book).
My pick would be Logan. I thought it was thoughtful, morose and (finally) actually violent, thanks the to R rating (side note: thank you Ryan Reynolds). A great movie, not just for a superhero movie (which I generally find quite mediocre) but for a movie in general. And... spoiler alert... the hero dies in this one, which always makes for a better ending. A great send off for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart. If anyone thinks this movie is a lesser piece of cinematic movie making than "Hell or High Water," (which was nominated for an oscar) I'd like to hear your reasons.
A dark, gritty tale of redemption and loss with the prospect of of future salvation. Plus Professor X tossing a few f bombs. And I'm only slight embarrassed to say that I might have shed a tear when I saw Laura turn that cross into an x before she fled across the border into Canada. We can only hope that this is simply the beginning of R rated comic book movies that pander not to selling toys to children but remain faithful to source material and actually produce great movies with great stories lines as opposed to CGI driven popcorn flicks.
The other movie that comes to mind is Split. I thought James MacAvoy's performance was amazing. I doubt he'll get an oscar nod since it will probably be forgotten by year's end.

It's actually fairly high on my list. I like strange, quirky movies and I like kaiju so this seems like a natural for me (though I will confess to not being a big Anne Hathaway fan which may work against it).
