I love the sound a cork makes when it's pulled from a bottle
In my opinion, this is way better than the Go Gos version...

When I first heard this, I thought that it was the original and Oasis had covered it!

Just a little blurb - I might be new here, but I've written stories in other genre's that have been entered in contests. I'm currently in the middle of a pair of fictional memoirs.

Here, I just plan to let loose with my imagination

Questions, comments and even diatribes are welcome

Thank you to those who've started following me, commented/scored and marked as favorite. my work so far.

Welcome! Good to be a friend and I hope you enjoy Lushing with the rest of us!

I like when he stays inside me after sex, talking, kissing and touching, until he softens and slips out.
In each others' arms, smiling, laughing, stroking, grinning and giggling...
For me, Turin Brakes have consistently produced wonderful stuff. Their first album, The Optimist LP, blew me away.

They are one of my all time favourite bands and I find that they just get better and better with every listen.

Live, they are amazing too (I have tickets to see them in a wee Glasgow venue in November, again!!)

I urge you to check them out!!

This was the first song I ever heard by them and I went straight out and bought the album - I love it even more today than I did back then...

Take a listen smile

Yes!

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

Wherever I wander, wherever I roam
I couldn't be fonder of my big home
The bees are buzzin' in the tree
To make some honey just for me
When you look under the rocks and plants
And take a glance at the fancy ants
Then maybe try a few

The bare necessities of life will come to you
They'll come to you!

Just for you, Liz!! (You know, when I was wee, I thought John Wayne did the voice for Baloo! lol)

We seem to share an interest in music.
I guess there's something with that drummer ;)

Hell yes!!! RRRRRRRRR Love me some DG!!

Sunburn, by Muse

First time I head it, it just blew me away... Seen them live so many times now

Bought the album on the strength of this and it was such a good purchase

If you ever get the chance to see them play.. Do!

Trainspotting!!!

It's a hard watch at times, but it's gritty, realistic and yet farfetched. The soundtrack is amazing and the characters, while generally not very likeable, are believable and you can sort of like them... The soundtrack is wonderful too! (I HATED the book, but I loved the movie)

I always loved Tigger - he was SO bouncy, fun and a bit dim...

When I finally went to DisneyWorld (is that the one in Florida?) I was so excited at the thought of meeting the character, in costume. I was disappointed though, he was rubbish at hugging...

However, I got the best hug from eeyore hahahah

I have loads of favourite Disney characters. To be honest, I find it hard to choose one character from any one film...

Was always a huge fan of Baloo too, his voice, his big bumbling self...
