Married to a woman who is smarter than I am which leaves me befuddled that she chose me. I love her a great deal. We're both atheists. Liberal views and we get pretty kinky from time to time. I've had some poems published and I'm sort of working on a novel but that's been the case for some time.
Interests
My overriding interest, and has been for decades, is understanding the implications of the problems Hume pointed in relation to inductive reasoning. Oh, and sex! We're both straight but have a live and let live attitude toward life. Not much shocks us!
Favorite Books
Any thing by Neal Stephenson but I particularly liked Anathem. I'm a big sci-fi fan (it's often a guilty pleasure) and in particular a fan of Ursula Le Guin. Others include Grow or Die - The Unifying Principle of Transformation by George T Lock Land. Daniel Dennet, Stephen Pinker, and so many more. My mom taught me to read when I was 3 and I haven't stopped since. If it's worth reading, it's 50/50 that I've read it. Which means I'll never run out of good things to read.

What my wife is playing on her Steinway right now, some Rachmaninoff. Piano Concerto #2. Leonard Cohen, Tom Waites, Miles Davis (Kinda Blue and Sketches of Spain in particular). Many others but my wife's the true music lover / musician. I can't carry a tune in a bucket.
