It is only available to platinum members:

https://www.lushstories.com/forum/site-announcements-feedback/new-features-for-platinum-members-from-november-17th-2022

I was quoting something from that post but was wee bit slow for your response.

Exclusively for Platinum subscribers,

Stealth Mode (option is view as offline in privacy settings, accessed via your avatar menu, then settings. This will set your account to say 'online 2 hours ago' but your avatar won't have the green circle).

With the Stealth mode enabled in Settings/Privacy, Platinum subscribers' 'last online' shows '2 hours ago' when they are in fact online. However, once they are offline, it will show their actual last online whether it is 5 minutes or 5 hours ago. But not 'Over 90 days'.

Could this be the case for Hasabrain2's? It may be that the user never logged out off Lush and had been religiously online without missing a day for at least 90 days from the time the video was viewed.

From observation, the 'last online' progresses from the minute to hours to days to weeks to 30 days to a month to 90 days onwards unless the user logs out and logs back in. It may be a bug or just how it works but I have seen a few users (non-Platinum) who come to the Chatroom daily yet show they were last online two weeks ago or a month ago on their profile. Or someone who was just online a minute ago will show last online 1 day ago once they are offline.

New Features for Platinum Members from November 17th 2022

There's an option to Hide your online status in Settings. That sets the "last seen" to "Over 90 days" so as not to leak info about their activity.

Is this a new and improved stealth feature?

The rule applies to any public 'space' across the entire site. I posted here since yes the problem is most prevalent in the chat rooms.

Thank you for the verification. I will put my foot to my mouth for the following recommendations, especially when mods are unavailable:

a. Add the hot terms to the developers' filter/blacklisted words. Include 'same name' and the possible shortened versions regardless of casing, such as Trill, Tril, Trl, Tr, or T for Trillian; GC, gchat or G for Google Chat; Snap, SC for , etc.

Also, asterisked terms are easily deciphered. Obscure/redact the words similar to how phone numbers are obscured with a 'REMOVED' in red over them or better, greyed/blacked out to minimize drawing attention to the redacted word. Set a uniform length of obscurement to mask the actual length of the hidden word.

Some, if not many, users recreated their accounts so that their Lush username and their external messaging platform's username match for easy sharing. Nothing beats a 'same name' hint when they have run out of the daily free messages. It's funny how some even lookup Lush usernames on other platforms to add, as if there has to be a Trillian or counterpart of that username.

b-1. Set an automated Chatroom mute for users who post the blacklisted words, which will also prompt a report to their profile with an automated warning or explanation of what was violated and why they were muted. If the user believes that it was erroneous, they can reply to explain why it was not.

b-2. Similarly, if done on a Profile (About, Media caption/comment) or Story comments (someone spammed an Advent competition entry story comments section), the user will also be muted (or suspended) and receive the warning.

c-1. Suspend/ban users who pop and drop, phish or pharm especially right after account creation. These are mostly new accounts (typically with alluring photos from the internet) that go to the rooms, then drop their contact details or tell users to DM their contact information even without prior interaction.

c-2. Suspend/ban repeat offenders. This includes those who frequently invite/promote/ask users to other messaging platforms in public.

d-1. Highlight the 'Welcome' message similar to how a broadcast appears.

d-2. Add a fun pop-up message that requires acknowledgment of the:

✅ Rules for the Chatroom

✅Acceptable Use Policy

✅Terms and Conditions

before users get to the landing page (Lounge).

There will be no lame excuses of ignorance for not knowing them.

In my opinion as a currently freeloading, participating observer, this will minimize mentioning of other messaging websites/platforms and usernames, spamming, reports, and maybe even admin tasks related to this. It is not a must to purchase a subscription which is good. But it is a must to respect and follow the site rules that every member agreed to upon sign up in the first place.

Frankly, I think anyone who posts that kind of information in any publicly accessible space is asking for trouble. Allowed or not, I would only share coordinates by DM with someone who I have already talked to by DM or chat on site.

You will be surprised what happens in the Chatrooms nowadays. Some users nonchalantly drop their contact details in public like flyers or post 'check my profile' where their contact information is displayed.

The Chat mods usually delete those almost in real time when they intercept a report, especially when they are in the Chatroom.

Likely okay in the About but not in those others but that's a guess.

I have seen those listed in the About section removed/redacted.

Does this encompass providing or asking such contact information in the About section of the Profile, Media captions, Media comments, and Story comments? Those are the commonly used sections where contact details are publicly provided aside from the common rooms.

Chatroom us up and running!

Thank you for restoring the service.

Are unread messages older than two months programmed to be deleted after two months or read and unstarred messages only?

My workaround, which only works if you discover the typo right away, is to copy the text of the botched message, delete it, paste it into a new message and edit before sending. I did actually do this once yesterday.

This is a good workaround for members with unlimited messaging. Nonpaying members will easily use up the 8 free messages in doing so.

The Terms and Conditions state

10.2 All erotic stories in this site are deemed the property and exclusive copyright of their authors. The submitter of the story is believed to be the original author.

Thank you for restoring Lush' social smut services.

It has been down since midnight. Support ticket has been created. It's early morning in the UK and a weekend. It is inconvenient but everyone's patience is very much appreciated.

Quote by Spartan111

Can you submit with a collaboration?

No. As per rule number 5 of the Competition Rules,

'We do not accept co-written stories. It may give an unfair advantage to the co-authors.'

In Lush V1, it was possible to hide works from view. I've searched for this function on V2, but am unable to find it.

Do we have a hide story choice now? I suppose it's possible to make a minor change and then save it instead of sending it back to moderation but then to put it back it would have to burden the team, making that a far less than optimal solution

There is a 'Show my stories on my profile' radio button in Settings as an option. I'm not an author so I have not tried how it works.

Development suggestion: add a hide/unhide option for each story in case the default option hides/unhides all stories.

The Bedroom has now turned into the landing page. The 'lounge' without a welcome message is still accessible.

Thank you for your response and update. Profile pictures and media are now viewable to nonpaying members.

There are two Lounges in the Chatroom. The Chatroom lands on the one in lower case 'lounge' without a welcome message and another Lounge with the welcome message.

In addition to that, profile pictures and media are blurred to nonpaying members.

Can't find this statistic, where do I look?

1️⃣ Go to your Profile page.

2️⃣ Navigate to the ABOUT section where your bio/description is located.

3️⃣ From the ABOUT section, click Read More (unless your profile details are already expanded).

4️⃣ Below your bio is the INFO section. You will find your Profile views there.

✓ Go to your Profile page

✓ Select Media

✓ Navigate to the Media/albums carousel

✓ Click the three dots on the upper right corner of the locked album (i.e. Art Workz)

Select 'Make it Public' ***

∆ Congratulations!

***To lock an unlocked custom album, do the same steps selecting 'Make it Private' instead of 'Make it Public'
