John Lennon and George Harrison so the Beatles could reunite one last time.

I'm with shawnababy on this. I'd have said a live Who Reunion, but Roger still can't hit the notes. But really, the list is so long. Benny Goodman's Big Band (from the 1938 Carnegie Hall concert) Buddy Rich. The Band. Joe Strummer. Warren Zevon.

Sorry, I know it said one. I follow directions so poorly
I have no particular like or dislike of either Toe Rings or Ankle Bracelets. Anything can look overdone if its, well, overdone. Out of place? But at the end of the day, a woman should wear what she likes in her style, and be herself. If what she wears makes her feel good, and she wears it well, she will probably look good in it. It's not just adornment.
For me, it depends on the POV, I think. A first person female lead is usually my preference, and I tend to write in that model. It's not about whether the author is male or female, but whether they had an interesting story, told it well, and made it hot. I've read more than my share smile of stories written by both (based on their claimed gender) and found that neither have the exclusive on stories that don't appeal to me, or leave me flat and unsatisfied. And the reverse it true.

From now on I am going to read every story that has a tag that I don't care for and comment about how I don't care for it.

Oh wait...thats what you are asking us not to do. Common sense is such a rare thing.

Someone I knew once told me, "If Common Sense were really so common, more people would have it".
For me, I would go with a mix of Sprite, Celias and TSG. While a good flash story has it's obvious attractions and useful purpose I find, first, that most flash stories are waaaayyy too thin, and cover Tab A and Slot B only. Too often they give nothing of the experience of the character(s). I want to be able to relate to the character, experience their emotions, be that fear, shame, excitement, isolation or pain, and a little bit of development brings that alive. CA talks about mood and atmosphere as though anyone can do it, but oh, no; read her "Picture" and tell me you can't smell that awful hotel room. But she weaves the characterization into that mood; we KNOW that woman.

Of course, that's what I like to read, and my stories tend to be (IMO) overdrawn and too long. I should spend more time trimming, but after edits and re-reads I am usually on to the next tale, and hope it's good enough. Too much character development makes me yearn for the fun, too little makes me yearn for the story. Reading really good authors makes me yearn to be better. There's no right or wrong, it's what you're trying to do, and whether you did it right or not. Did the reader get your intent? Then it worked.
You know, I'm kind of new here, but I'm so damned impressed with the moderators that when I updated my profile included a mention for them!
I had cause to thank a Mod before even submitting my first story (newbie!). I think I have thanked everyone who has approved a story, and if I missed one, my apologies, and thanks; belatedly.

I can't imagine what y'all go through, and can't appreciate it enough. Sounds silly, forced to endure reading erotica, but it can't be all thrills and giggles. So here's to you, and I'll keep saying thank you every time. And if I forget, I expect appropriate punishment...
Blade Runner

The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original)

Dune, even with the cheesy graphics. They really don't hold up.
Wow, what a question. Everything. Met a great girl years ago and had the momentary good sense to marry her. Great life, great kids, great house. Great health, even at my advanced age ;) Still friends and lovers after so many years. A job I don't hate, pays well enough to keep us. On top of all this, the ability and opportunity to express myself in writing, and maybe make others a little happier.

I might be the luckiest guy in the world.
