I had a feeling all along that something like this would come out pretty quickly.

That tattoo artist is quite a sport, politely offering to pay half her cost to have them removed.
A partial fairing on a recumbent bike with a computer display along with a solar powered HAM radio trailer.

This guy out geeks even the best of us.
I'm pretty sure if you watch really closely, you can see that they pushed a fake squirrel off the wall and then ran the clip backwards for the "successful jump" scene.

Seriously, I was waiting for them to invade the guys backpack for food.

Why do we shun a pregnant teen?

I think your mistaken on that one. Used to be the girls were sent away to live with an aunt somewhere out of town and out of sight. Forced to give it up.

Now we give them all kinds of government programs to pamper them and encourage them to drop a few more litters.
ADC,WIC, welfare, food stamps, special schools that babysit the kids while they finish 8th grade, parenting classes because they're not done being children so how would they know how to diaper a baby?
Frankly I'm sick of my taxes paying for it and sick of bleeding hearts making excuses for them and their parents.

I'm right on the same page with you about welfare, and that is not just underage pregnancies. There is a whole segment of society living that way. I definitely believe that these people need to take responsibility for their actions and the consequences of those actions, why should it be the government's responsibility to bail them out.

Here is a great article about the "forgotten man" the one who is forced to pay to help another.

What I'm saying is that by law and moral standard we are telling kids, "Sex does not exist for you, until you are 18." The fact is the instinctual urge kicks in much earlier than that. So by making the act illegal and the topic , we are creating a no mans land where kids learn from kids, and at the age where experimentation starts to happen they generally feel like they are adult enough to make their own decisions.

So again, I'm asking are we giving the right message by setting a moral standard through law?

Many on this very thread have admitted underage experimentation and sexual activity. Does the moral standard reflect the reasonable conduct of individuals?
Maybe we need to reexamine our morals a bit. The teen pregnancy rate is very high. Morally this is , teens having sex, seeing anyone naked.

You have to be over 18 to watch someone make love on camera, but not even 13 to see someone killed, shot, stabbed, hit, burned, or tortured.

Biologically we are forcing adolescents to stifle the behaviors they are driven to by instinct and hormones at precisely this age. Why push them away when they would seem to most need the benefit of experience and guidance from their families?

Why do we shun a pregnant teen? She is a woman with a child, shouldn't we be open to accepting that we have new life in our society.? Most claim this is a burden to society, but only because there is no acceptance of them in our society. Our society is designed for them not to fit in. Why cant teen mothers share a class room, and learn what little they teach in government(public) schools, with their infants and toddlers right there with them?

How many of our parent's generation are the children of teenage (under 18) mothers? It was simply not that uncommon. What changed?

Where does this moral standard come from, and is it reasonable? Is it reasonable that we throw an 18 year old boy in jail for making love to his 17 year old girlfriend, mark him for life and make a criminal out of him? How about if she e-mails him a naked picture of herself? Is that justice?

I'm not promoting sex with minors, but I am interested in rational thought about this. We have a real double standard when we criminalize and vilify activity that most of us participated in.
I'm guessing that he owns the dealership, writes the ads, and wants to be the star.

Sad thing is, that is probably a slice of the guy's internal dialogue that is running all the time. I bet it is not far off of how it is to work with him the rest of the time too, that part is just not caught on camera.
Yeah, kind of like the one about how the mathematician, physicist, and and engineer prove that all odd numbers are prime.

Mathematician...
1 is prime, 3 is prime, 5 is prime 7 is prime, therefore the rest follow by induction.

Physicist...
1 is prime, 3 is prime, 5 is prime 7 is prime, 9 experimental error, 11 is prime...

Engineer...
1 is prime, 3 is prime, 5 is prime 7 is prime, 9 is prime, 11 is prime...
My intention is not to offend anyone personally, and in no way am I suggesting that the value of one human life is greater or lesser in any way than another, particularly based on nation of origin, or that one can be simply substituted for another. If this has offended you I apologize very deeply.
A 7.5 Earthquake Hits Mexico

150,000 Mexicans die and over a million injured.

The country is in total ruin and the government doesn't know where to start with providing help to rebuild.

The rest of the world rises to their aid.

Canada sends troopers to help the Mexican army control the riots.

The European community sends food and money.

The United States, not to be outdone, sent 150,000 replacement Mexicans.

God Bless America!
I stepped into an elevator repair job. It had it's ups and downs, but I eventually got the shaft.

I also worked on a weapons testing range, that job was a blast, only my boss was a short fused hothead and one day he just blew up.

There was that job at the burrito factory, where we wrapped up work every day at 5:00. Too bad I was fooling around with the bosses daughter's taco. It was either roll, or get smothered.

Then there was the job replacing manhole covers. There is a job that keeps a lid on gratitude. No one notices till you miss just one. That was a real pothole on my resume.

The Ski Patrol seemed like it would be an easy ride to the top, but what I found out after running into a mogul was that the I wasn't on the inside and it was all downhill from there.

Photography seemed like it would be a snap, but it never really clicked and I was plagued by indecent exposure problems. One day I just had a flash and decided to put the lens cap on that career.

I wanted to be a lawn mower, but just couldn't cut it.

I had a job as a garbage man, but that job stunk, and I got dumped.

Next I got a bright idea, I found a job changing light bulbs. I got so burned out on that job, one day I just went out.

I did a bit as a comedy writer. Everyone loved my jokes so much that my boss tried a joke of his own. I had to exit after I saw that paycheck before I showed him a real punchline.
It's just a combination of conditioning and association. We see the sexiest women wearing fantastic shoes, and associate them. Soon the excitement we feel over the women is transferred to the shoes. For some people it even displaces the feelings for the woman that began the experience. Just like Pavlov's dog and the bell.

For me it is all part of a sexy look, but shoes are just icing on the cake. Bare feet and thigh high boots are both sexy too.

The shoes are a piece of the whole package for me.
Interesting....
I think this calls for more research!

I have a new appreciation for etymology!

And why do you guys drive on the wrong side of the road too?

Well it is called the right side of the road isn't it?
Dr Laura Schlessinger is a US radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she has been reported as saying that homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a US resident, which was posted on the Internet

Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that (Leviticus 18:22) clearly states it to be an abomination.

End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them.

1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev.1:9). The problem is my neighbours. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in (Exodus 21:7). In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev.15:19-24). The problem is, how do tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

4. (Lev. 25:44) states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. (Exodus 35:2) clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination (Lev. 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

7. (Lev. 21:20) states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by (Lev.19:27). How should they die?

9. I know from (Lev.11:6-8) that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates (Lev. 19:19) by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev.24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted fan, Jim

Note from PM, I'm not really sure if this was an actual letter, but I thought it was funny as hell!

Rocco's new Av looks like George Michael. *snerk*

Yes it does look very George Michael.
Hi All,
Just bought a new Acer monitor and there is a CE compliance statement signed by the manager.

How's that for a name?
You get wasted, you wear the cloak of invisibility backward... See what happens?

Actually I believe the taser was out of line, as was the knee drop to the guys heart. It seems that the guy's only real crime was being naked, and I'm pretty squarely against criminalizing nudity.

I guess he was actually arrested for resisting arrest. Which comes first resisting or arrest?

Thinking about it, he's probably better off with the charge of resisting arrest, I'm pretty sure that is a misdemeanor, naked in public (indecent exposure, a $25 to $50 ticket offense), is a sex crime and he goes on the sex offender blacklist for life.

Do you suppose that they consider the amount of exposure in those cases? He would end up with a pretty short sentence if they do.
