Love this song Lois. Thought about posting it a while ago, but I guess I forgot. Thanks for posting it!
Not sure if it's changed since then Rocco, but I remember that when I wrote my Pics For Jebru stories I wanted them linked so that there would be a link at the end of chapter one, to take you to chapter two. I think that's what Sassy is asking about. You don't really want someone to go back to chapter one from chapter two, so when you submit chapter two, you have to go back and add in the link to the first chapter. Is it still ok to edit a story for that reason? Or is there a way to do that without putting the story back through the editors?
Love the singer's voice on this one. Rachael Yamagata singing a song called Duet.

Eagles- Hotel California. One of my favourites, even if it has been overplayed. I enjoyed the facts posted on this video.
Sounds interesting. I know I'll forget about it by then, so hopefully you will be posting some samples on zafia when they are available. lol
I haven't yet as far as I know. Because I show my face, people who know me would recognize me right away, but I'm not really worried about what they would think of me. They would have to be here in the first place to find me, so kind of hypocritical of them if they are judging me for being here.

I just downloaded music...I shouldn't have but I really really wanted some new music...

I'm calling The Police on you. See what Sting has to say about that. lol
"I did my best but it wasn't enough" That line used to haunt me, but now this song just sums things up for me. "It's not something to cry about." Barenaked Ladies-You Run Away

Rob Thomas-Her Diamonds. Wierd that a sad song has good memories for me, but it does, because of how well this song summed up how I was feeling when I first heard it, and of the good times I had with her after that.

Had a long drive to my parents' place yesterday for the holiday weekend. I did my usual radio channel surfing, and heard a few songs with some good memories attached to them for me. I'll start off with this one, Extreme-More Than Words

The general rule in the past has been, you can say the age, but don't be descriptive/graphic with your explanation. If that has changed, let's here it from a mod, not a random member.
An old friend of mine is really in to astrology, so gave me my profile a long time ago. I laughed at some of it, but some of it is surprisingly accurate. It also looks at the foods and nutrients you like and need. This is something I had never thought about before, but being born at different times of the year (traditionally and to some extent still today) would mean exposure to different types of foods in the womb depending on what was in season. That has to have some affect on your body and what it needs in the future. I would definitely never use it to determine a mate, but I think there is more than a little logic behind it.
Happy Birthday Xuani!

20 years old! One more year until you don't need that fake ID anymore!
Germs can kill you, I believe that, so I don't think it's just a media brainwash. But at the same time, I think we as a society are weakening our immune systems. If we use anti-bacterial soap, and anti-bacterial wipes after everything, our bodies will lose their ability to fight bacteria, and we will be more susceptible to germs. Also, with greater exposure to anti-bacterial sprays, etc, the bacteria develops resistances and becomes stronger as well. When I cook just for myself I am not very worried about cross contamination, but I do respect others, so I am far more careful when someone else will be eating the food too. I've used the same bowl to mix my eggs and milk as I used to have my cooked scrambled eggs in later. And that didn't make me sick. Maybe I get lucky, but I continue to believe that my immune system is better for me not being quite so careful.
A little Santana for someone who claims to be a "Black Magic Woman" and got this song stuck in my head.

Since there are story listings on the main page, I don't see it being as necessary for that, but I do think it is a good way to promote the people here on this site. This has become a social networking site, so it makes sense that the people of the site other than writers get a mention. There are many people who contribute a lot to this site without ever writing a story; whether as readers, in the forums, or even just chatting, helping to make lush the community it is. Those people deserve to be recognized too.

Jebru, you are ONE lucky fellow! Props...

How was Cabo?

Huh? Can you hook me up with your supplier? The stuff you're on is obviously way better than mine.

Not that I mind getting props, but usually I have some clue why I'm getting them, and as far as I know, you haven't seen the video yet.

Extending on Louis C.K.'s thoughts in the video above, is there a man made creation, or technology that amazes you? This can just be how much things have changed, or marvelling at a specific item. For me, it's the digital camera. It amazes me to think about how a device can take an image, turn it in to a series of 0s and 1s, and then convert it back into that exact image.

I know I have an uncle who still enjoys the fact he doesn't have to rewind his dvd's like he had to rewind his VHS tapes. I'm curious how people will respond, although I'm guessing that there will be more responses from the older members who remember life before a new technolgy was ever available.
Heard this song on the radio and had to post because it reminds me of a former member. Yes Lia, it is another "happy clap clap" song, but I still think it's catchy and I like it. lol.

One of my friends posted this on facebook, and I thought it was perfect for lush. lol. Rodney Carrington, Show Them to Me

Just heard this cover of the stones Wild Horses on an old episode of CSI. Haunting delivery by The Sundays

All you need now is a sweet rapper name.

Ghost Face Xuan?

Notorious X?

Old Dirty Lady?

Lady X not a good enough name for you Felix? lol. But I'm one of the whitest people you'll meet, and as Xuani likes to point out to me, a country fan. So I may not be the highest authority on good rapper names.
