Drinks are on...well, somebody or other. Anybody wanna volunteer?

Anyway, the celebration is for my N.O. Saints getting past the Carolina Panthers today and my LSU Tigers whipping up on South Carolina yesterday.

Gill, why the house hunt? BTW, my unasked for suggestion on your small town house hunt is to focus on those with a nearby college or university.

Now who wants a few drinks to get this celebration rolling?

Greetings and HUGS to all, especially Tonya and Curvy for getting things rolling this morning.

When the 'black dog' of depression is hounding me, so to speak, a few tried and true comedies, especially westerns, usually help like a hot rum toddy. This may just be me, but the Terry Pratchett 'Discworld' novels also seem to ease the strain.

In baseball, the World Series is now a best-of-three affair after the Tampa Bay Rays pulled out a 8-7 win over the LA Dodgers .

It's now officially past time for a mug full of Big Bertha's best brew a along with a few of Curvy's 'boss' brownies. Anybody else want a drink of something to go with a brownie or two?

Greetings of a TGIF nature to all who enter, especially those seeking personal fulfillment and insight on the meaning of life, realize this is THE seediest cyber honky-tonk in all of Lushland and not some misplaced ashram or derelict Christian Science Reading Room, sigh in relief, order doubles and go meditate with Coma and Tose.

Just so y'all know, your favorite blind barkeep has now voted in the Arizona version of the upcoming US elections. Hip-hip hooray for me!

Remember, there are contests both here and over on the Sacre Bleu (Stories Space) site. Check 'em out.

Now who wants some of the fine offerings Curvy and Big Bertha have prepared for us?

For what it is or isn't worth.

Submitted for your consideration, two 'snap' polls on the just completed US Presidential debate.

CNN instant poll finds 53% of voters who watched the final presidential debate thought Joe Biden won, while 39% thought Donald Trump won.

A Data for Progress snap poll finds 52% say Biden won, 41% thought Trump won and 7% were undecided.

I'll drink to...well, I'll drink to that being the last debate. Anybody else want one or maybe two?

James, welcome to most disgusting den of degenerate depravity in all of Lushland. We've had a few other newbies stop by recently so you won't be alone in the 'intake tank' presided over by, Her Royal Spriteness. Word to the wise, her whip is an attention grabber but that damn TASER she keeps fully charge is what's best avoided. ;)

As is the hollowed tradition at Rumplations, here is your one and only free, and very small, beer. Enjoy.

Oh yeah, don't try to swipe any free hot nuts even if the dispenser's broken lid makes it very tempting. Terance the tarantula, head of security, likes to take power naps nestled in among the warm nuts and gets a bit contenti ous if disturbed by poking fingers.

Our tavern wench is Tawny the Trailer Park Temptress She uses the cot in a corner of the supply room as her office.

That's about it, expcept for some other odds and edds. Now who is gonna join our newest Canadian newbie for a drink or two?

.
Laura, she wrote: Are you drunk again? I'm 5'9, mate.

To which I replied: Who, me, 'drunk again?' Well, not exactly. But it was kinda kind of you to ask. As for your being 5'9", I'm afraid you'll have to prove it. Since I'm one of those totally blind folks who 'see' with their fingerstips, a printed ID will not be sufficient evidence. Consider yourself warned. ;)

And speaking of being drunk again -- who wants a drink hand-crafted by your old blind barkeep?

Jeff seemed surprised that most of his earlier post was about movies/ TV shows but, imo, that just reflects the way things are nowadays.Way back when, the late Tom Wolfe gave a talk about how 'moving pictures' had taken the place of novels as the primary culture carrier these days, especially for the post-Boomer generations. Sometimes a book will still impact contemporary culture but seldom as a primary force. IMO, that's neither good nor bad but simply 'Is what it is'.

Being something of a book-aholic, I'd love to read more post about books on LUSH and other 'writerly' sites' but apparently there's too little interest to make that possible. Buz tried to crank up a 'book' group but, last time I checked' it hadn't taken off.

The primary aspect of all this culture shift that has puzzled me is why there seems to be so little interest in erotic screenwriting. Hum, might make an interesting new category here at LUSH but, then again, probably not. ;)

Sorry about all that bloviation. Consider the source, order a drink, and refocus back on enjoying the Lush life.

So who wants a drink?

Carl I ain't exactly 'still' here, having been enjoying the contest entries of Sprite and TG. However, I'm back and will have a flagon full of Big Bertha brawny brew ready for you, ASAP. Thanks for dem doughnuts.

Anybody else need something to drink, or eat?
eta: Being in possession of a mind that is immature, degenerate and juvenile, my last line about the consumption of your doughnuts reminded me of the old joke about Little Red Riding Hood being stopped in the middle of the forest on her way to Grandma's house by, The BBig Bad Wolf who snarls, "Red, I'm gonna eat you up." To which she responds with a disgusted glance and snarls back, "Eat, eat, eat, doesn't anyone wanna fuck around here anymore?"

Greetings to all those 'Sleepless in Lushland'.

It is a major goodness to have Laura drop by to celebrate life and her PM being re-elected 'Boss Lady' of NZ.

Kistin, welcome to the seediest sink hole in all of Lushland. You being 6' 3" will help to average out the height among some of our more dimenutive patron such as Laura and Sprite.

And speaking of Ms Rach, her contest entry has just popped up on the maim page. A few hours earlier, TG's 's entry also made its appearance. Y'all have been warned.

Congrats to Carl on his KC Chiefs beating up on the Buffalo Bills yesterday. No doubt doughnuts will soon make an appearance. No doubt they'll go well with the first batch of java produced by Big Bertha. Having somehow remember to tee up the tea kettle, all the tea and coco crowd can join in the wholly feast.

Now I'm gonna grab me a mug full of Big Bertha's blessed brew and start checking out the contest entries here and over on the 'family friendly' Stories Space site. Anybody else need a drink?

Greetings on this, yet another, Moanday Mourning. However, there something sorta like good news in that after today, there will only be two more Mondays until the US elections.

Thanks to Tonya, our favorite Jersey girl, things are a bit less disorganized than usual around here. Now all that's lacking is a heaping helping of Curvy's brownies and all will be about as well as possible.

This year's baseball World Series will feature the glamorous, historic and loaded with talent LA Dodgers against the Tampa Bay Rays. My heart is with the Rays but what's left of my brain says the Dodgers win in five games.

Congrats to Sarah on her Va Tech Hokies whupping up on Boston College last Saturday. Carl's KC Chiefs will take on the Buffalo Bills today at 5:00 pm (ET).

Think I'll fill my mug with some of Big Bertha's bountiful brew and go sit with Coma and Tose. Of course, they always look a bit stunned, not to mention comatose, but yesterdays aerosol attach might have them even more addlepated than usual. Anybody else need a drink?

HELLO OUT THERE!

It's safe for y'all to come back -- honest. Tawny claims the bar's least broken latrine has been successfully unclogged. What's more, the chief unclogger has been hosed down and I'm now garbed in relatively clean underwear. Also and in addition, the windows have been left open all day and a new can of Lysol spray has been dang near emptied since this morning. BTW, once Terrance has recovered from his nausea, a full fledged investigation of just who was the last person to use, and let me add, abuse, the bar's comfort station will be launched.

So belly up to the bar and let your overdue tab be used. In other words, whadda you bottom feeding denizens of the shallow end of the gene pool wanna drink?

Greetings and best wishes to all for a Hump Day that would be memorable if you could only recall what happened. ;)

Great to have all the newbies among us. your small once-in-a-lifetime free beer awaits you.

In case you haven't been given the officious orientation, that's a goodness since we ain't got none. However, all who enter are advised to avoid yeielding to the temptation of slipping a hand into the hot nut dispenser by way of the broken lid for a free sample. Terrance the Tarantula, head of security, likes to burrow down there for his power naps and has been known to be a tad cranky if roused by filching fingers.

With contest going on both here at LUSH and over on the 'family friendly Stories Space site (aka Sacre Bleu) all Rumplators are hereby challenged to enter as many as possible or whine about writers block while encouraging others to participate. .

Now I'll fill my 'Deep Hole Fluid Injectors' mug to the brim with Big Bertha's elixir grab some of Tonyya's cupcakes and a sampling of Curvy's brownies and hunker down to awit the start of the Hump Day festivities. Anybody else wanna drink?

Greetings y'all, along with hugs, and the hope everyone had (is having) a happy, horny and hedonistic Hump Day eve celebration.

Anybody want a drink or two?

Mega-congrats to Carl on his Missouri Tigers upsetting my LSU Tigers. And make no mistake, Fuzzy's Tigers outplayed LSU on both offense and defense.

Man and boy, this here being a gracious loser is for da birds. sad

Think I'll go soak my head in the hot tub for awhile then consider some serious drinking. Anybody else want a drink?

Greetings and big HUGS to all. Just for the record, yesterday's posts were great. Mega-congrats to all who added to the fun.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is one of three contemporary era statues in Austin. Out at the airport, a full size likeness of a seated Rep. Barbara Jordon overlooks the entrance. Downtown, there's the almost mandatory statue of Willie Nelson and across the lake from downtown is the iconic statue of Stevie Ray.

Now i'm gonna get me a big mug of the blessed brew Big Bertha and Tonya have provided. Then with a few Curvy brownies for nourishment I'll retire to the meditative quiet of the Coma and Tose table to listen to the tunes posted yesterday Y'all are invited but first, whadda ya wanna drink?

.
Greetings and HUGS to Curvy for today's setup.
It is with amusement that I've followed the discussion of 'great' guitar pickers. Being older than dirt, I know the correct answer, which is:

Jimi Hendrix

And now, for the baseball fans among us, here's a 'Today in History' factoid:
8 Oct 1956: The New York Yankees’ Don #Larsen pitches the first and only perfect game in World Series history. He did it against the Brooklyn #Dodgers. The #Yankees won 2-0. #MLB #baseball #WorldSeries

Now the time has come for your beloved blind barkeep to to grab of mug of Big Bertha's blessed brew, a handful of Curvy's brownies and go sit out on the back porch and wait for sunrise and Tawny to take her morning skinny-dip in the dumpster hot tub.

Anybody feel lead to join in the observance? If so, grab a drink and follow me --he says moments before stumbling into the non-functional latrine.

Greetings to all happy humpers on 'Hump Day'

Fuzzy: odds are the LSU vs Missouri game will be moved from the path of yet another hurricane up to your neck of the woods. If so, kickoff will probably be at 11:00am (CT). . Just thought you might like to know.

And now, a great philosophical question or two for the rest of y'all. Is it still 2020? If so, how come every month this year has seemed to be worse than the one before?

Grace, good it is to have you 'grace' us with your presence. Keep getting mo' better.

Curvy and Big Bertha have done done it again and supplied us with the epitome of great coffee and brownies that ain't half bad either. ;) Think I'll try some of both. Anybody else need something to sip or nibble on?

Greetings fellow travelers down the great info highway who somehow ended up in this joint.

Curvy, she said: Last out, first in! *lifts head off bar*

Me, I said: Many thanks for the set-up, Ms C. BTW, there's a semi-clean napkin stuck to one side of your little punkin head. Kinda cute, actually.

The game between Carl's Chiefs and the Patriots was postponed due to what turned out to be a 'false-positive' test. It'll be played tonight. Should be a good game.

There's yet another tropical storm/hurricane heading for my home state of Louisiana. In the immortal words of the Gilda Radner character, Roseanne Roseannadanna, "It's always something. If it's not one thing it's another."

Y'all do the best you know how. Trying some of Big Bertha's coffee and Curvy's brownies before taking on that job is highly recommended. So whadda ya wanna drink?

Saints avoid losing to the Lions, 35-29.

Carl, I'm suddenly wondering if the 'Horse With No Name' might not be the perfect new mascot for the no-name Washington NFL club formerly known as the Redskins.

There is one advantage to being on Left Coast Time during the football season. If your team has a 10:00 AM kickoff, all things being equal it leaves plenty of time for a restorative power nap once the game is over. smile

So who wants a pre-nap lullaby type drink?

Greetings and mega-HUGS to all who enter, especially those who do not turn and rush back out the door while gagging. Big Bertha has been attended to and is ready to put out some seriously good java. Meanwhile, the kettle is kettling away to the benefit of the tea and hot chocolate crowd. Of course our line-up of bleers, whines and fine lickers is also available for a most nominal charge.

There are a few doughnuts and brownies available. While not the freshest, just think of them as 'vintage' instead of day-old and chase 'em with your drink of choice.

Sprite has just posted the ninth and last installment in her 'Summer' series. Check it and all the others out if you get the chance.

Any contest news? In college football, Sarah's Va Tech Hokies, Buz's Georgia Bulldogs, Carl's Kansas State Wildcats and my LSU Bayou Bengals all won yesterday so whatever you wanna drink, it'll be charged to someone else.

Greetings to all, especially the early arrivals for today's TGIF celebration. Mega-HUGS to Tonya and Curvy and their partner in goodness, Big Bertha.

Congrats to the Denver Broncos who followed their third-string quarterback in his first-ever NFL start to the team's first win this season. Meanwhile, mega-condolences to the NY Jets who fell to 04 with their loss to the Broncos.

In 'Wildcard' baseball playoff games, Sarah's Braves and the eventual World Series champ, the LA Dodgers swept their series.

Big Bertha's coffee is calling me as are some of those fried pies Carl slipped in. Anybody else want something to drink?

Greetings, happy first day of October (a Harvest moon is due, I'm told) and most of all, a big 'Get Well, Apollo!' No doubt all who enter will second that emotion.

Massive mega-thanks to Curvy and Big Bertha for today's setup. Think I'll grab a few brownies, fill my 'Deep Hole Fluid Injectors' mug with Big Bertha's brew and join Coma and Tose for an in-depth discussion of yesterday's baseball wild card games or maybe something of a less philosophical nature. While all are welcome to join us, please be on alert for the presence of Terrance before plopping your butt into the first available chair. So who wants a drink?

Coffee's coming your way, Jeff. BTW, Over on the Sacre Bleu site in the Contests and Calls for Submissions forum, I've posted a collection of sites calling for subs in, Horror. Might be worth a look.

Anybody else want a drink?

Greetings and best wishes to all who enter for a fulsome Hump Day, and to my fellow Americans, congrats on surviving last night's Presidential 'debate'.

Curvy, mega-thanks for today's setup which you and Big Bertha have given us. You two are both keepers.

Sprite has posted chapter five in her 'Summer' series. Be sure to read #4 first, then check it out.

Now who needs a drink?

Greetings to all who enter, especially those eager to celebrate the KC Chiefs whipping up on the Baltimore Ravens, or news that a racoon 'attacked' a group of reporters on the grounds of the White House. Of course the biggest celebration is for this day having been declared by somebody as, NATIONAL COFFEE DAY. Tawny has attached one of those floating balloons she picked up to add a festive touch to Big Bertha. She says to ignore the Happy Birthday, Cousin Rupert' and mumbled something about a mix-up during check out.

With all that awaiting Rumplators, a mug of Big Bertha's celebrated brew and some of Curvy's brownies are in order. Anybody else need a drink?

Greetings to all on this Moanday mourning. Thanks to the combined efforts of Tonya, Curvy, and Big Bertha, coffee, tea and brownies await all who enter.

For those of us who did not, I say again, NOT, enjoy a successful sports weekend, drinks are on Susie and all the other contest winners. ;) We're proud and maybe just a bit envious of y'all's well deserved success, not to mention your stories.

There is one ray of something sort of like good news for us to ponder; in 36 days the national election here in the 'States' will have come and, one fervently hopes, soon be gone.

Let us now consider whether it is better to grab of mug full of Big Bertha's blessed brew along with either a brownie and doughnut or to swipe one or more of each. Anybody else need a drink and maybe a nibble or two?

Greetings to all who enter seeking wisdom and inner peace, look around, and decide to stay anyway.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Tonya, Curvy and Big Bertha, coffee and brownies are awaiting us. Me, I'll be fortifying my mugs full of Big Bertha's blissful brew with a stiff slug of Beaver Breath Brandy to help me overcome the trauma of my defending national champion LSU Tigers getting humiliated at home by Mississippi State.

Think I'll take my coffee and brownies an sit out on the back porch awaiting sunrise out here in the desert while contemplating life, its consequences and inevitabilities and whether the Saints can save my weekend by topping the Packers this evening. Anybody else wanna drink?

One evening pint coming up, Ms C. Enjoy.

Anybody else need a drink -- besides me?
Major-Mega-even Monumental congrats to Carl on his K-Staters going to Norman and beating the Oklahoma Sooners. Way to go, Wildcats!

Now if only my LSU Tigers can find something resembling an offense they might be able to overcome a halftime negative score of 14-17 vs Mississippi State. sad

Anybody besides Carl wanna drink?

Greetings on this glorious TGIF day. Just for the record, I have now exhausted my supply of mindless exuberance.

It may be autumn, but out here in the desert it's still hotter than the hinges of hell with high temps above 100f expected until sometime next week, maybe, with luck..

The SEC brand of college football kicks off tomorrow. My LSU Bayou Bengals are a two TD favorite over Miss State. Carl's college team, the Missouri Tigers are predicted to, if not win, at least survive their opener vs #2 ranked Alabama. Here's hoping for the best, Fuzzy.

Her Royal Spriteness has posted the third installment of her 'Summer' series. No doubt it'll be good but it'll play hecky-darn topping the erotic 'Strip tease in pond photo shoot' scene in #2. Check out all three stories.

https://www.lushstories.com/stories/incest/-summer-3-.aspx

Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated Morning Doves (Tonya, Curvy, and Big Bertha), coffee and brownies await us. So who else wants something to drink and maybe a nibble or two?
