Greetings to all engaged in the ongoing, apparently never ending challenge of enduring the unendurable. At least those of us who huddle for mutual support, have the solace of Big Bertha's coffee along with the magic ingredient for tea and hot coco. Mercy busckets, Tonya.

There's a lot going on out in the real world, most of it something to be avoided if at all possible. I mean there's war, pestilence, famin, and my Saints blowing a 10-point lead and losing to the raunchy, Raiders. sad

Thanks for the brownies, Ms Curvy. If they can't help ease all this distress, nothing can.

The next installment in Sprite's 'Summer' saga is posted and awaits your votes and comments. Check it out.

Time to fill up the old 'Deep Hole Fluid Injectors' mug, then grab a brownie or two and go sit with Coma and Tose to discuss the start of SEC college football this weekend. Y'all grab something to drink and come join us. Don't worry if you don't know nuttin' about college football -- neither do we. Just be careful where you sit on account as how Terrance may join us. He's been grumpy ever since the news broke that his team, the Richmond Spiders, have postponed their season.

RIP/RBG sad

Greetings and HUGS to all, especially the Monday moaners among us. Thanks to the dynamic duo of Curvy and Big Bertha for today's setup

Mega-congrats to Canada for winning all those Emmeys last night with Schitt's Creek leading the way. In sports, the really big news is my LSU Tigers and the rest of the SEC begin their 2020 football season on Saturday. smile

With the US Open over, we might get a visit from the Pinkster. You have been warned.

The votes keep rolling in, maybe even piling up, for,Summer', Sprite's her hot, erotic, and well-crafted uncle/niece story. Even if you find that category distasteful, this is all about the prelims and not any sort of consummation so go ahead and check it out.

Big Bertha's coffee's calling as are Curvy's brownies. Far be it for me to not respond. Anybody else want a drink?

Anatomy, welcome to this, the leading literary sink hole in all of Lushland. Best I can recall, this is your 'first time' so to speak, here. As such, you're entitled to a once-in-a-lifetime free, small beer. If that's not your speed, just leave it on the bar for
curvy whenever she shows up.

Sprite's new story is up and already has attracted a bunch of votes. I'd say that was solely due to the esteem Lush readers hold for her and her writing. That the story 'Summer' is in ' ' (uncle/niece) would have no impact on all those votes and views, honest. ;)

Anybody want, need and/or crave a drink? Me, I'm about to assume the old horizontal position, if you know what I mean, he says wistfully.

Sprite, she wrote: we are already discussing the theme. like always, nothing will be announced until after the winners of this one are. that said, i'll give you a hint. there will be sex involved. smile

Me, I marveled: A LUSH story that involves SEX? What a concept!

Jen, it is a major goodness to have you back among us, and to hear you and yours are doing tolerably well. :) Keep on keeping on.

RIP/RBG sad

Think I'll drink to all that. Anybody else wanna join in?

Greetings and deepest sympathy to all Rumplators who hoped things might be looking better or at least not getting any worse. (sigh)

Curvy, you and Big Bertha have done it again. Mega-congrats and thanks for today's setup.

Is it time to start heckling Nic and the other admin types about when another contest will be upon us? This may be one of my weaker ideas, but would an 'open' category competition interest the competitive writers here at LUSH? Might be best to limit the competition to some of the less frequented categories. Details such as number of categories, word count and other such foolishness would, of course, be a chore for others to figure out. I'm into ideas, not details. ;)

Jaymal has a new story posted. Check it out.

Now I'll just liberate a couple brownies and fill my mug with Big Bertha's beatific brew and go join Coma and Tose to talk pro football. Fix yourself a drink and come join us for some stimulating dialogue.

HUGS to Tonya and her Littley and that two-toothed terror of a grandchild. smile

Buz, here's your double-shot of 151 proof rum complete with one of Gills cocktail umbrellas. You want one for your better half so she can, you know, hang in there with you?

;)
Buz, if that's the same bird she kicked out for constantly trying to mount one of her cats, then hell yes. ;)

It being Talk Like A Pirate Day, what about a rum drink or maybe just a double-shot of 151 proof rum to speed things along?

Greetings and HUGS to Martin, Jeff, Grace and to the ever diligent Curvy and Big Bertha for today's setup.

Jeff, your coffee is coming but first things first.

(settles a 'clean' mug filled with Big Bertha's ambrosia of life in the general vicinity of Grace, includes a couple of those fancy cream containers Tawny found in the bottom of her purse, and even included a spoork) Keep on keeping on, Ms Grace.

And speaking of 'keeping on keeping on' that sage, maybe even profound) advice is hereby extended to all who enter to observe TGIF with improper ceremony. So whaada y'all wanna drink?

Greetings on this thrusting Thursday. Curvy, a pat on your little punkin' head for the setup you and Big Bertha have provided. However, I am just a tad worried about those missing mugs.

BTW, rumor has it the KC Royals laid a licking on the Detroit Tigers last night. Doughnuts could be in our future.

And in the wide, wide world of Rumplation sanctioned sports, the Big 10 conference will attempt an eight game season beginning in late October. For US college football fans this is a goodness. Everybody else can go out and spend the fall tiptoeing through the tulips or golden rod or your neighborhood toxic waste dump -- don't make me no matter mind.

And in conclusion, on behalf of the management and staff, Rumplations is hereby declared a 'seltzer-free' beer zone. Other than that soulless swill, whadda y'all wanna drink?

Greetings and HUGS along with hoping y'all have a humping good day.

A day or two ago, I was a penitent prose pusher, begging for info about a crime mini-series on the tube adapted from an Elmore Leonard story which several Rumplators had viewed and approved.

Thanks to finally getting something to work on my 'puter which hadn't been , I can now report it was a short story, "Fire in the Hole", part of a nine story collection of Elmore Leonard short stories, "When the Women Come Out To Dance" it is, of course, highly recommended.

Tonya, don't fret about the double setup. Remember, Curvy has something like a five-hour head start on you. ". Besides, it just ups the odds on our getting more breakfast goodies. ;)

And speaking of goodies, it's lunch time out here in the 'Valley of the Sun'. If any brownies are left, one or two would make for a great desert dessert. Anybody need a drink?

Greetings and congratulations to all who managed to sneak past Moanday and special HUGS to all still lost in the ozone.

Congrats to the Steelers and the Titans on winning their monday night football games.

Carl, great choice of music. Back in the day it seemed so right that the first female astronaut was, Sally Ride. Thanks for the doughnuts

Marks, welcome and stop back by when you're ready for your free cyber beer (small size) provided free of charge to all first-time customers. ;)

PNG, many thanks for the elucidation on the E. Leonard inspired series. The book is a strongly suggested read, as are most of his novels. It could double as a how-to text for aspiring bestselling authors on how to write one of those elusive suckers.

Thanks to the combined efforts of our 'Morning Doves' (Curvy, Tonya, and Big Bertha), a generous supply of BB's elixir of life awaits me. Think I'll grab a doughnut and brownie (or two) to go with a perfect breakfast. Anybody else need a drink? As for the edibles, it's every Rumplators for their own-self.

Greetings to all moanday mindless meanderers.

Just one semi-serious question, what in the name of Elmore Leonard was that business about digging coal together. I mean it sounds a whole lot like the finale to one of Elmore 'the Dickens of Detroit' Leonard's novels set in Harlan County Ky and starring a no BS deputy marshall but I can't recall the title. A little help over here would be depreciated.

PNG = Pingsterr Non-Grata -- right?

Our special of the day 'WAS' gar ball po-boys but some foul fiend has gutted 'em all down.

Anybody want a drink to drown their sorrows?

Gotcha covered, Curvy, he says, if only figuratively, and sighs wistfully as two beers appear in relatively clean containers.

My New Orleans Saints defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today, 34-23 down in the Superdome. Hot boudin will be available for celebratory feasting in the morning.

eta: The contest is now closed, in a manner of speaking. That is to say, no more new entries. Anyway, now you can go check on your entry's score.

Anybody else need a drink or two?

Greetings, along with a multiplicity of thanks to Curvy and Big Bertha for today's setup, and a modest proposal. In light of the flood of quality, last-second contest entries, what about a two-week submission period for the next one? You know, cut to the chase and all that jazz. Just a modest proposal, you understand. ;)

And speaking of the contest, there are now 52 entries, more or less. Seems like about half of those showed up in the last week or two.

Mega-congrats to all our sports fans who experienced the 'thrill of victory' yesterday and sympathy to those who endured 'the agony of defeat'. (no names will be given, just pity)

Past time for coffee and brownies. Y'all grab some of what's left and settle down to some serious contest entry reading. So who wants a drink?

The previous post by Cuckold Kenny (scroll up to reread the post he posted) is proof the Ping by any other name is still a ping, only maybe more so.

Carl, sorry about Kansas St. losing to Arkansas State. Between that upset and Iowa State losing to the 'Ragin' Cajuns' of UL-Lafayette (dba Louisiana) the Big 12 might decide to avoid scheduling Sunbelt teams in the future. ;

Now who needs a drink to celebrate or commiserate?)

Greetings to all who enter, especially those singing the praises of Curvy and Big Bertha for today's setup. .

My late last night count of contest entries showed 45 eager contenders. Wonder how much of a role the lockdowns played in the number of late arrivals.

Larry, hope everything is A-OK with your better half. Best I recall, hasn't Tonya had or will have a similar procedure?

A tip of the old sombrero to Jeff for his suggestion that the US elections take place ASAP since it's becoming pretty obvious that undecided voters-to-be are an endangered specie.

A semi-full slate of college football games this weekend Along with baseball, hhockey and pro basketball should make this a good weekend for couch potato sports fans.

HUGS to all, well, okay, maybe not Terrance. It's nothing personal or homophobic, honest. It's just that I never can figure out where to hug him what with his having all those appendages. Anyway, time to fill up my mug with Big Bertha's benevolent brew and join Coma and Tose for a discussion of the point spread in today's last-minute match-up between the University of Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks and the Black Knight of the US Military Academy on the Hudson. Feel free to grab some of whatever is still available and come join us in this intellectual exercise.

Greetings and here's hoping you have a TGIF celebration you'll never be able to remember. Curvy, multitudeous thanks to you and Big Bertha for today's setup.

Scott, always a goodness to have you pop in. We need you around to keep that other Scott, the one north of the border, on the straight and straighter.

Carl, congrats on the wins by KC teams. (Royals & Chiefs). That does means a double helping of doughnuts, right? BTW, just a reminder that the Chiefs new running back is all of 5' 8" and something a bit over 200 lbs and is both a Louisiana native and a member of last year's (15-0) national champion LSU football team.

BTW #2, there are now 40 contest entries, more or less. The thing is, most of these last-second entries are by top-flight LUSH writers and are mind-boggling good.

Time to stop bloviating and begin some serious coffee drinking and eating of doughnuts and brownies. Anybody else want some of these goodies?

Carl, he wrote: Here you go Bill as promised DOUGHNUTS

Me, I exclaimed: A blessing upon the Fuzzy head of Carl. May he and his Royal Chiefs prosper.

The high today is supposed to just get over 90f. Somebody seems to have switched off triple-digit heat. Heck, we've only had 115 days of them so far this summer.

Think a second mug of Big Bertha's blessed brew is calling to wash down those doughnuts. Anybody else want something to drink?
;)
Greetings and please judge not this poor pitiful post-Ping post, or something sorta like that. ;)

Big Bertha has been attended to. There's hot water in the kettle. Found some brownies in the back of the 'fridge os a few are still available. Those interested in trying one of the Pingsters spiced rum drink are advised to reconsider unless you're also heading for bed.

And remember when we thought things couldn't get worse here in Trump-land? Well, I'm here to tell ya, we wuz way wrong. (sigh)

Pro football begin this evening with Carl's Super Bowl champion Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans. Kickoff will be on or about 5:30pm (left-coast time) and 8:30pm (right coast time) Enjoy.

Now who wants a drink?

And now for a breast in fresh air ;)

A woman voting in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary found an unorthodox way of protesting an election official who ruled her anti-Trump T-shirt was a form of electioneering: She took it off and voted topless, -- USA Today --

Greetings and massive HUGS to all, especially our potential snowbound lockdowners. (talk about your basic double-whammy)

So Carl, your Royals won. Congrats. Just one question -- where the hell are the doughnuts? ;)

Got some serious last-minute contest entries in my immediate reading future. Sad to say, but rumor has it the Lush mail-in ballot system is having an issue or two so you'll need to read, comment, and vote the old-fashioned way. (sigh)

Extended bloviation is being canceled due to feeding time approachingg. So I'll grab a mug of Big Bertha's best brew and some of Curvy's brownies (for dessert in the desert) and prepare myself for some serious ingestion. Anybody want a drink?

Greetings to all who enter.

Seeker, enjoyed your musical selection yesterday. Didn't know about the husband/keyboardest being the honcho of Patrion.

Tonya, our queen of multi-tasking has gotten what is, in effect, the first day of the rest of this year off to a most commendable start aided and abetted by Big Bertha, of course.

Curvy, you and Carl better enjoy the cool snap in y'all's neck of the woods. Something tells me summer will soon return. Just for the record, I have heard of 58f temps but didn't believe it.

Carl, maybe you'd consider changing the ground rules for doughnut acquisition. I mean, instead of a Royals' win being needed to generate doughnuts, what about if they just score a run or two? Just a thought?

Now to grab a brownie or two, fill my 'Deep Hole Fluid Injectors' mug with Big Bertha's ambrosia and go sit with Coma and Tose to discuss the meaning of life and how a Navy team that lost only two games last season, could lose to BYU 55-3. All input is welcome unless it doesn't jibe with our thoughts. Anybody want a drink or two?

Careful there, Scott. You're beginning to make sense. Must be the summer heat. Take two gin & tonics and rest a spell.

BTW, FWIW and IMO, that's a good suggestion.

Greetings, HUGS, and a question: Does it count as a 'Moanday mourning' if it's a holiday , at least here in the States?

Hi ya, Curvy. Many thanks for the setup. You and Big Bertha have done gone and laid a major goodness on the rest of us. ;)

Sun's about the show up out here in the desert. Think I'll grab a few brownies and a full mug of Big Bertha's benevolent brew and go sit out on the back porch and maybe lend a hand, so to speak, if Tawny takes a morning dip in the dumpster hot tub. Anybody need a drink and/or wanna join me?

Greetings and a hearty, 'How's by y'all to anyone who wanders in here thinking its the tabernacle of, 'The First Church of the Burning Bush and Discount House of Lickers', the discover it ain't, let out a sigh of relief and order a glass of sacramental wine.

Late last evening there were something like 30 contest entries. Since the deadline is, in theory, 9/12, it behooves anyone with a yet to be begun, finished, edited (one last time) much less submitted and pimped contest entry/winner, to get a move on.

So Thanks to our Morning Doves, coffee, tea (if you must) and our assortment of whines, bleers and fine lickers are available So who, besides me, need something to get 'em kick started.

Grace, I tried to post a link to 'Johnny B Goode by Peter Tosh (long vr) but failed miserably. I'll keep trying, honest. I'll find a easily accessible youTube sooner or later page -- probably right after I end world hunger.

Martin, happy I am for you -- an emotion only slightly tainted by envy. ;) Enjoy.

Verbal, I've re-re-read the first chapter of 'Riding the Rap' and gotta agree with your analysis. note: By my fiendishly not mentioning just what that was, no doubt a vast horde of Rumplatorss will immediately commence scrolling up to your post to find out what you decided ;)

And mega-congrats on the RR over at the old Sacre Bleu watering hole.

Curvy, your beer's on the way along with a sweet ice tea refill for Sara. Anybody else need a drink or two?

Greetings and HUGS, along with TGIF type best wishes to all Lushlanders who enter seeking peace, tranquility, and spiritual enlightenment, but then decide to hang around anyway.

An extra helping of HUGS, high fives and 'atta girl' shouts to TG for her goodies and the good news about her hearing and on life's bitchiness level having dropped to a more reasonable level. Way to go, Cat. BTW, how's by the baby turtles?

And speaking of those goodies, it's past time I grabbed a few of those and filled my flagon with Big Bertha's ambrosia which Curvy and Tonya helped create.

Anybody out there want, need or crave something to drink?

>
Greetings and big HUGS to all. Sorry to be such a downer, but this is a tough day for all sport fans, especially those who follow baseball and teams such as Verbal's belovedMets. The greatest player in the history of the New York Mets, Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seiver, passed away in his sleep due to complications of dementia and C-19.

I'll spare you a list of his achievements. For those, check out his Wiki page. But for those unfamiliar with Seiver, he was an incredibly great athlete and a class act for the ages. He will be missed. sad

It's a little known fact that Seiver ran a small California vineyard that produce some wines critics judged as good and having promise to get better. Therefore, all wine will be on the house, and or the tab ofJeff. So whadda ya wanna drink?

Chronologically this might be in the cool, cool, cool of the evening except cool ain't got nuttin' to do with the weather in these parts.

Curvy, one beer for our buxom babe. Carl, one's coming for you so Curvy won't have to drink alone. If you see Will, Ping, or Verbal, tell 'em there's a cold bottle for all of them. I'm figuring Curvy can handle five or six guys all by her her own self.

Thanks for the Bon Jovi, Carl. Never have been sure if it wasn't masterfully produced or way overproduced. Either way, it's a goodness.

Anybody else out there wanna join in our little beer bash?

Carl, we might need to look into the possibility of starting a focus group to focus (or not) on the creating of a support group around here. Might call it, The Humpeteers'. That is a ser....

BREAKING NEWS!

Just got my official notice of Sprite's new story. As a service to those not on her exclusive list of 'friends' here's the notice:

You are following sprite and they have just published a new story:

https://

Breathtaking weren't it? No need to thank me. Just another fine free service of Rumplations, Inc. (No, that inc. ain't no sort of abbreviation for ' ')Drinks are on, Sprite.
