Haven't seen wasps about since getting back from vacation a month ago. Guess we had enough frost while we were away to send them into winter quarters.

The main thing with allowing editing of DMs is you want some kind of editing lock on it, probably once the recipient has replied. But, yeah, would be nice. In fact, the DM editor in general could use some sprucing up. My favourite forum software, Xenforo, largely treats DMs as private threads (in fact, until the most recent release, they called them Conversations) so uses the same editor and a lot of the same features as for posts.

As I've probably said before, I'm not a fan of American football or its Canadian sibling in spite of having had a couple college-level players in the family (my grandfather and more recently, my cousin's kid). But San Francisco 49ers is one of my favourite sports team names. Ties to the city's history, doesn't feel like the product of focus groups and marketing spin, and trips nicely off the tongue.

Survived my two-hour drive home in the first winter weather of the season. Asphalt is still too warm for the snow to accumulate on it or freeze up much (the salt trucks were out on the highways, though) but the visibility was brutal.

Besides modelling, she is the vocalist of death metal band Decessus, which she founded in 2020. Terrific band, too. Hope this gets them noticed. And good day (too late for good morning) everyone. Dark, dreary, and damp in my world today. Survived a full day corporate town hall yesterday. Even got to chat with the big bosses (the executive chair, whose family owns the company, and the CEO). Fun, sort of.

Writing remains slow to on hold. I am entertaining revisiting a favourite story from my first time here. I don't have a copy anymore but it was a favourite of mine so I have the characters and basic plot arc stuck in a corner of my brain. Just wondering if I write the same basic thing again or try for something new, maybe a new twist or something.

Flight. Might make my commute easier. And getting around in general. Invisibility has more limited utility unless you're into violating people's privacy.

Sometimes it's necessary. Like when I am writing a new story about one of the protagonists and can't actually remember the name of her ex who was mentioned, but didn't appear, in the earlier story (this is in reference to doing another Paris story).😳 In fact, I generally reread a story once or twice if I am doing any kind of followup. I am also prone to rereading my old stories just to see if they still hold up and if there are any characters or other elements meriting reuse.
