I think I've seen that happen. Saving and going back in usually fixes it. But yes, if it happens again and you can't get them to work before submitting, add them in the "Notes to moderator" box and we can do it for you, that's fine.

On a lap or box, you have to use Shift/Enter to create a line return. I've no idea how to do that on a phone.

The only way I've found is to write the message in something else then copy and paste. Except this morning when I used the send message button from a user's profile which seemed to use the old form and allowed paragraphs. Not exactly mobile device friendly.

I think in Facebook Messenger there is a setting you can toggle on or off for whether enter is new line or send, perhaps that could be implemented here?

Sorry, I've been having a bit of a break from here this past week. That's good to hear it worked. I know it didn't immediately after the move, then it did for a while because some were able to add ex-comp stories to series (such as to series named "Comp Stories"). Someone obviously ticked the wrong box or something during in update that unfixed it, and now remembered. Or maybe it can only be done after results of the last comp have been announced and a new one has yet to open, that's certainly a possibility as we were trying before the results of the last were out.

It was also posted before RRs were a thing, and also got a nice comment from a certain favourite author of mine at the time. I gave it bit of a tidy up at the end of last year and a few more people read it, including a mod who gave it an RR, which was rather generous.

I've only been on Lush since 2009, so I thought maybe it was time to make one of these. Most of my older stories are even older than their Lush posting date, and until I treat them to a revamp I'm a little embarrassed about them, so this won't be in chronological order.

However, I will start with the oldest story that I am proud of:

Little Red-Cap

This starts off very close to an old translation of the Brothers Grimm version of the fairy tale more commonly known as Little Red Riding Hood, hence the name, but it is not the version you should read to your children. Those who know my stories will be shocked to find that it's completely straight, but also completely filthy.

It was posted in 2010, before Recommended Reads existed, but there was a user by the name of sprite, new at the time, who left a nice comment on it. I then went on to read her stories, and was so intimidated by her talent that, bar the one that followed, I posted nothing for nearly ten years, but I treasure that comment all the same. I gave the story a tidy-up last year, and still think it's a fun and filthy read.

Thanks! That is entirely fair and expected. All eight stories in the top ten I've read are excellent and deserve they're spots, and I'm sure the two I've yet to get to do too. I knew I was stretching the brief close to breaking point with my one, but I had limited writing time and the idea I had that fit better just wasn't flowing, so it was that story or not enter.

Entering the competitions is too fun not to, regardless of final placing, and I'm pretty sure a horror story about a sex doll would not already have 1.1k views if it wasn't in the comp.

I believe they are briefly public in the gallery - I once tested it by posting a photo in the mod forum and getting a non-mod to check the gallery immediately. She could view and comment on it, and I could see it as a non-member in an incognito tab. A few minutes later, it had gone. Definitely a bug.
