I very much like the changes and to see a much wider selection of writers being given page one treatment. Excellent ideas Lush. I'm all in favour

You would get lost in those mrplow. You would need to take a packed lunch and bottled water or we would never see you again LOL

And maybe a torch just in case! Not sure about her lips now, hadn't noticed them before, too transfixed by her other attributes.

After seeing the post by Insomniac with the blow-up dolls, I see what you mean about the lips mrplow.

As you say - Number One is a great video

Number two is a bit amateurish

But an interesting contrast between the two.
Funny but do you believe it?

Sounds like one for the Urban Legends File to me LOL

I FULLY AGREE WITH THE LADY HOLDING THE POSTER

I can say from personal experience (I can't write it easily while I'm in this position) that we have MANY other qualities and attributes and possibilites and... ohmygod and ... annnnddddd for GODS SAKE DONT STOP NOW

Is that a lady? Looks like a twenty something computer geek who eats too much pizza and not enough vegetables to me

I THINK it's female ... no signs of the front zipper or giveaway bulge !!

She looks so intense. I wonder if she has ever enjoyed a satisfyingly joyful connection with a man?

Naive and superficial LOL.
The comment about the beautiful sculptures from Greek and Roman history was especially ridiculous.
What a delightful clip ... had me smiling with the child .... but it has been dubbed for effect I think.

Infectious laughs reminds me of the fairgrounds in England years back which always seemed to have a model of a policeman in a transparent case. One would put a penny in the machine and he would start to laugh. The people watching were all laughing with 'him' - it was truly infectious.

What a lovely little boy in the videao.
I've never heard of her but would like very much to see one of her films/movies.

Her comments about porn not being about romance seems to indicate she is aiming fairly and squarely at the 'stroker' market - I would love to watch an EROTIC movie which has a story line around which explicit sex is woven.

But me . Im a Romantic LOL

(Susan wonders where she markets her stuff -- obviously abroad as it's illegal here more's the pity.)

You now have my IM putting you in the picture
For the time being I shall emulate my husband by being regularly and enthusiastically, in and out LOL !!!

Hi Everyone,

A special heartfelt thanks goes out to SusanEngland, who's been flying the flag for us and keeping the home fires burning. By way of appreciation, and winning our site contributor award, she'll be receiving US$150 to do with as she pleases. Not sure what that is in UK sterling Susan, but hope it is received with the warmth it is intended.

Looking forward to a long and fun future with everyone. Keep writing!

Cheers,

~ Lush~

Lush I am most grateful for your kindness and generosity. I have written and told you where the money has gone, and it was thankfully received by the donee.

I am so pleased that you, Lush, and your Admnistrators are happy with the site progress, and congratulate you and thank you for all of the wotrk you put into it.

I haven't been active for the last few days due to illness in my family.

Thanks again

That was beautiful and incredibly creative. Thank you.

Interesting to try identify the arist/country/style/period etc as it moved seamlessly from one image to another.
There is a saying in Yorkshire, England "There's nowt (nothing) as funny as folk" - it seems there's also nothing as funny as this sect (although they do acknowledge the between brother and sister !!!.)

‘Pro-Life’ Activist: Birth Control Is A ‘Pesticide’ That Will Make Women Just ‘Like Men’
On Tuesday, the Food and Drug Administration “approved the first birth control pill that eliminates a woman’s monthly period.

Was that intended to be SERIOUS DEBATE ???

If the USA truly has a pill that can eliminate our periods, I think it is a hightly questionable drug.

I would have wanted all of my plumbing regularly flushed through and tested, waiting for the day when I WANTED a baby. Girls in puberty are mentioned. What the effect would be on their future prospects for motherhood I shudder to think. Periods are a pain, sometimes literally so, but it is part of being female.

The pill doesn't suit every girl but at least it allows females to function as females. I can only wonder at the ELIMINATION of menstruation as a 'permenant' measure and the effect on our hormones.

I had to giggle at the "just like men" comment ... yeah, right, I suppose the implication is we wouldn't grow boobs? Well if that were the case men would be devastated. BUT we would still have enticing bits for them to find and play with wouldn't we?

I like the idea of having themed ranks. Not sure about "addict" though, sounds as if it's a bad thing! Maybe guru?

I agree .... also I would make "active wordsmith" = 50 posts, and 100 plus posts given its own ranking.

As it stands there is too a big gap between 30 and 100, then a massive (far too large) a gap from 100 to 1,000 posts
Very nice and as years go by, too true to be comfortable.

I think my feet are already in the River Lethe
What a wonderful film. What refreshing attitudes.

My mother told me that my grandfather (a blue collar worker) always handed his Friday pay packet to my grandmother, unopened. She would then open it and hand him a sum of money as his own ... sort of pocket money or beer money I suppose, She then managed the money to provide food, clothing and so on.

According to my mother, Granny always put a little on one side "for a rainy day" or to go on an outing on the train ... a day trip ... that is all that could be afforded. Grandpa worked to support his family and provide a secure home. Granny managed the home and family. It sounds as though the Mexican film shows that in some parts of the world it is still the same. They all looked well fed and contented didn't they?

By the way, Granny had several tins in which she kept money, labeled as to what it had to cover. The rainy day money was kept in a metal teapot, given to them as a wedding present in 1919. Nobody in the family, NOBODY touched a farthing (quarter of a penny) of the household money.

Naturally enough they didn't have a bank account ... bank accounts were for posh rich people !! Everything was paid for in cash out of money saved for the purpose.

As far as I remember, and certainly according to my mother, they were happily married. Totally faithful to each other. Lived through the General Strike in the late 1920's, and Depression in the 1930's with three young children.

I suppose it was World War II which changed our English world.

............... but I always make a point of a allocating a day visiting the galleries - the Tate Modern especially.

ON NOooooooo ... not the bricks and mortar art. Not the fluorescent lighting, shining a light on man's gullibility. No. I do NOT believe it !! You MUST be teasing me.

I am in shock!!!
Any great Art Gallery has beautiful carvings of naked men and boys, females and girl children, and no visitors are embarrassed.

What makes this an initial shock us that it is in public ... the everyday environment of everyday life.

I have no problem with it but I wouldn't make a detour to see it.

Hmmm...perhaps some men might write poetry such as that. Not all men though.

Boob size isn't that important to me.

MAN'S POEM:

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs
who owns a bottle shop and a golf course. This
doesn't rhyme and I don't give a shit.

I very strongly suspect it was simply a joke, C2C - made me smile anyway.
All together now

And so say all of us,
And so say all of us
Ee Ay Adio
And so say all of us.

These spammers are a severe pain in the posterior.
You beat me by one Lush. I have read Harry Potter, Memoirs of a Geisha (superb) and Bryson's Notes from a Small Island - terrific writer.
Who the hell wants an orgasm after only 10 seconds?????

I will stick with what I have, thank you LOL

So true, Kat (deep sigh)
But we must educate them as best we can to make them fit for our society.
Of course education can only go so far.
It pays to kick the shit out of them occasionally.
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower

To feel that love is never bland
And argument simply a shower

To have when down, a helping hand
And feel balm from infinite power

To have all this in a happy heart
And join in love, never to part
Is to Be, to See, to Know,
To Live. Eternally.

That's very sad indeed. Might even encourage parents to give their baby up rather than giving it a good go if it becomes that easy. As you say, it is better than them being left in a field somewhere. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing really

I agree that it seems an incentive to give up the baby rather than care for it.

I suppose my impressions of Japan have been that family and ancestry is terribly important to them. The need to honour ancestors used to be paramount in their lives. But this seems to indicate a total turn around in attitude, especially as the news item refers to a recent spate of abandoned babies in parks and so on..

One's heart goes out to a three year old abandoned in this way, irrespective of the background to the father's decision. At one time I am sure his (or the mother's) family would have rallied round.

Poor little boy. How very sad.
