Not often. But occasionally.
Do you ever dream of sex acts you didn't think you'd be into?

Jeff if I had a creek I would share it. Most exciting thing I have nature wise is a field that cows live in occasionally. I'll have to take a picture of it.
A relaxing day here. Need to get some competition stories read today so that's the plan for the most part of the day.
Stay safe everyone![]()

That was you? Came into my cafe spitting rainbows all over? Made a God-awful mess you know. Anyway, it wasn't so bad to clean up, but you left your wallet...there was no money in it, by the way.

For you Bill. I wish it would have put them in the right order but that is beginning til now. We still want to add a couple more gnomes we found.
I'll take something cold and wet please. Nothing special happening here. Was able to catch a nap which was helpful. I'm going to try to write for awhile. Hope everyone had a great day.

Curvy, your news about the passing of Ennio Morricone brought back memories of a time during the early days of my battle with higher education, when a group of us dorm rats got into a marathon card-game of 'Hearts'. The soundtrack to 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' was one of the standards being played and re-played on the room's cheap stereo.

It occurs to me that renting a few seriously big speakers, and using them to broadcast classical music (real loud-like) when those C&W loving goobers show up, might be an effective way to de-trash the creek..

You folks are having live events? Most of our 1st of July events are virtual/online this year from what I am seeing. Even the big festival on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
They are finally handing out the Juno Awards, Canada's answer to the Grammys, tonight. They were cancelled at the last minute in March as COVID came down. It will be a virtual event broadcast by CBC television online and on broadcast. Singer-songwriter Alessia Cara ("Scars to your beautiful" is probably her best-known song) was supposed to host originally but I'm not sure if she is still involved or not.
So, I'm just hunkering down and trying to beat the heat. I'll take a tailgater, I think.

Martin -- MEGA-congrats on the job front and how things seem to be falling into place in your private affairs, so to speak. ;) Happy for you.
Verbal: so how did the reading go? Meant to pass this along yesterday but forgot (what else is new?) Before FDR would broadcast on radio one of his 'Fireside Chats', a Navy Corpsman would stop by and drain his sinuses. Just a FWIW factoid from Rumplations ancient historian.
The contest entry total is now twelve, or it was an hour or two ago.
HUGS are still a goodness, btw. One-armed cyber hugs are recommended for those with a drink in their off-hand. Speaking of drinks, who wants one?

Thanks to Carl's hard work and Big Bertha's ability to recover from it, there is now coffee and hot water for tea along with a choice selection of doughnuts. Think I'll grab a mug full of coffee and a couple doughnuts then sit with Coma and Tose and try to figure out the new rules for the upcoming, abreviated baseball season. Anybody need a drink before the Rumplations 'brain drain' gets down to some serious cogitating?

Verbs, good to hear you're okay. Too bad the procedure didn't work as you'd hoped. Hopefully, the meds will do the trick.
I'm about a third into season three of Justified. It is addictive. However, I do like the scenes with the Stetson more than those without. Sadly, it feels like the writers are just trying to come up with villains, like Stan Lee did for Spiderman.
It is cool to see some of the characters, earlier in their careers. The big, mean brother that took the watch was the monster guard in OITNB. The ex-wife was on, The Detour. My favourite scene from The Detour was when she got stoned and had a nice, slow psychedelic trip down the hotel hallway. And the 'fourteen year old' is the youngest daughter, Eve, from Tim Allen's, Last Man Standing. But that Walton Goggins. Damn. Great actor. Although Vice Principals got stupid and cancelled, he was fabulous in that comedy.
Barkeep, still no caffeine for moi. However, it's almost been three weeks without. Today was the first day I was considering getting one at Timmy Ho's (Tim Horton's for those not Canadian). Ah, funny thing from Prime's, Jack Ryan. Wendell Pierce, who you know from, The Wire, pretended to be a Canadian Diplomat while in Venezuela. Said his name was Tim Horton. Funny.
