You said you are suffering a 'lack of inspiration.' at the moment. This may be true, but there are several threads on this site where other authors have offered valid suggestions to help a person overcome their writers block. If memory serves me correctly, you have offered a few suggestions from time to time. I don't ever remember anyone ever suggesting a person should get high. I'm not trying to be 'cute' or rude, but is it possible that perhaps you should take your own advice in overcoming that mental block that is restricting your creativity?

Mike was so terribly patient and kind and gentle with me, always, in everything. There's a reason that Losing It is my only collaboration--same as there's a reason that I've only posted eighteen pieces in what, five years? I'm complicated, at best, and that's on a good day. Mike tolerated my need for stupidly precise detail--the silly things, like the type of oysters and precisely how they were served. Or the description of the stock of my personal stationery, commissioned from Wren Press, London, on the occasion of my 12th birthday. Silly things.
Anyway. Yes, I miss him. Brilliant, kind, and sexy as fuck. And I know it pains him to peruse the site--or at least check in on the view count for Losing It--and not be able to allow himself to rejoin. It is what it is.
