I want to read a lot of people here. Actually I have before I joined but never explored voting or commenting. I feel bad about that now, that I enjoyed so many stories and didn't say thanks. They are the ones that inspired me to try it. Not even sure if I could as a non-member to be honest, but as I explore and study how others write, both for enjoyment and to make myself a better writer, I'll certanly do it now. I don't follow football like I once did when I lived in a city with a team, but Drew Brees retiring is sad news - but good for him! Always a classy guy. Did I read that Phillip Rivers retired earlier this year too? Seems like those 2 have always been linked, and both good players. For a Bronco fan, Drew was much easier to admire! Utterchaos Emma, I guess? Hi, I'm Rayne, new 'round here. That's a beautiful mantis! I have a friend down south that get big, beautiful green ones in their yard, but nothing like that. Where is it native to? He also gets huge millipedes, bigger than my husband's... well, middle finger anyway! I've always wonderd can mantises be handled, or do they bite? Seems like they could after watching them crunch through other bugs. We don't get cool insects like that. Not many bugs at all, really. Too many deer & coyotes, the occasional elk, bear or mountain lion, all the small stuff in the mammal family, but not interesting bugs. Too cold too often, maybe?

I guess they got gobs of snow in Denver and on the Front Range. We got some up here, could have used more. This is kind of a dry area so moisture is always welcome.
