That avatar picture isn't really me, for all the obvious reasons you can think of. But I think it pretty well sums me up, I might eventually change it to Son of Man (Rene Magritte painting, if you don't know it: Google it, worth seeing). I think all the wisdom you'll need to learn for life, love, politics & business can be found in two places: anything written by William Shakespeare & The Godfather Part I & II. I fly 100K miles a year and spend 180 days on the road so if you're in an airport and see a guy in a suit talking on his cell phone quietly, that might be me because I'm not the obnoxious loud-talking guy. My favorite color is green and I can recite every President by name and date in office - you can ask why if you really need to know. I believe that perception is reality and you can have anything you want in life but the only person stopping you from having it is you. My stories are a reflection of my thoughts, passions and experiences. I really do have a high-stress corporate job and some women in my pasty really do enjoy shopping and I'm not above trading expensive shoes for sex. Interests German cars, German beer and German dogs: I own all three and wish I owned twice as many. Cursing: in Italian or German, which is more fun than English but "Bloody" is definitely my favourite "British English" curse word. Favorite Books Hamlet, The Godfather, Harry Potter, Red Storm Rising, Hunt For Red October, Heart of Darkness, Winning by Jack Welch. I'm sure there are more but I'm not thinking of them right now but I don't like Twilight (at all) because I've been made to watch the movies and I just don't like Bella. I think most guys are Bella or Hermione types - I'm a Hermione type of guy. Stupid, whiny girls just aren't sexy or fun
Favorite Authors Many and varied: James Patterson, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Robert Louis Stevenson, Joseph Conrad, I like complicated characters, and while it is probably overstated now, I think Snape is probably the greatest character of the last 20-something years. If you've read a Harry Potter book you understand.
Favorite Movies Family Guy, Modern Family, Dexter, Homeland, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Seven, The Big Kahuna - all Kevin Spacey movies I just realized. Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and any James Bond, Indiana Jones or Star Wars movie.
Favorite TV Shows House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Homeland
Favorite Music Rock, Blues and Jazz. Having a drink and listening to Jazz is 2nd on my "List of Awesome" only to sex.
