Thank you most kindly for reading, and for your beautiful comments. Truth be told, from the start I was planning a happy ending but as the story went on, it seemed so implausible and the eventual end just fit. Anything else suddenly seemed foolish. The story made me do it!

I feel personally attacked when my number of followers goes down and I always tell myself it's because someone deleted their account but I never really know and it keeps me up at night and then I have to get a midnight snack and then I get fat and by the time I lose the weight someone else unfollows me and it's an endless vicious cycle. What a world.

You guys crack me up. I've decided to release Jen since keeping her happy requires more cookies than I can afford. Phil, you're very easily distracted but I'm still very happy with you for turning out a competition entry. Verbal, please don't freak out! I totally know how you feel and trust me fam, you need to chill. Maybe even Netflix and chill. You need to forget about the competition until this time next week and then very casually and nonchalantly check out the results. A top tip is to read your story until the very sight of it sickens you. By doing this, you will find that you care much less about the results. I have faith in you, fam. You're way lit. smile

The contest page says results will be announced "shortly." Originally it said Feb 8, so I am sticking to that. Exceptionally strong field of stories, IMO.

I wouldn't count on the eighth. As an avid entree (not the food) I've found that results are usually announced a few days after the intended date. But I agree on the strong field. I would find it enormously difficult to judge especially with so much variety.

I know there can be different measures and names for ingredients in the US but hopefully this will make vague sense!

Ingredients:
-60g self raising flour
-65g wholemeal flour
-125g grated carrots
-1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-50g caster sugar
-50g dark muscavado sugar
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-100g butter (melted)
-2 eggs (beaten)

Method
1. Mix everything but the butter and eggs in a large bowl
2. Stir in the butter, it should be fairly cool, then the eggs
3. Put it in a tin lol
4. Bake at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 40 minutes (check with a skewer or whatever)
5. Allow to cool
6. Ice with lemon buttercream or whatever.
7. Eat the whole thing with köffee.
8. Repeat.

Hey everyone. Haven't been in here for a while. All of you who failed to enter the competition without a reasonable excuse are on my LIST. I'm still trying to find my carrot cake recipe for Sara lol. The sex in this piece lurks in the background from the beginning, keeping you on the edge (of your seat!) before resulting in an exquisitely crafted climax. It’s not just a love story and it’s not just a story with sex. This is perfect, pure erotica. It’s classy, with real characters and an enthralling plot.

And even if you’re immune to all of the above, there is also a shower scene. I mean, what more could a self-respecting consumer of erotica possibly want more than SHOWER SHENANIGANS?!

And after you’ve finished (both the story and probably yourself) you’ll find that you’re still thinking about it, asking questions like: Why can’t I have a sex life like this? And WHAT WAS IN THE ENVELOPE? (My money is on nudes, btw.)

So. There’s really nothing to lose by reading this exemplary story and definitely a LOT to gain. flower

Runner writer caught my attention too but I don't find the style familiar although their story is definitely worth a read. I think Verbal asked something wrt how many people enter each contest: it really varies. The poetry contest had loads but the boobs one not so much. The current one seems like a fairly good turnout.
