When people use (...) way too much. When it's not even relevant. For example someone IM's me with:
Hello... how are you...
No. Just NO. I will not be telling you how I am. I find the overuse of ellipsis' (is that the plural?) vaguely creepy.
Why would you be scared of something that's been happening for thousands of years? And it doesn't hurt unbearably. There's absolutely no reason why you should be scared of it hurting.
Well. I did marry a client.
He should NEVER be quiet!
This Murchie's sounds rather fancy, Jen. Not sure I can afford it, though I'd love some if anyone's paying...?
Thanks for the lemonade, Bill. Top me up, please. And 600,000 words?! That's a lot...right? In comparison to an average novel? Say a Jack Reacher? I really don't know these things!
Any lemonade here? Schweppes? Is that a US thing or just British?
Also, I looked up 'Infinite Jest' and can you possibly inform me as to the size of this book, Verbal? Is it literally huge? It was described as encyclopedic on Wiki!
Also, 'Read next' is taking me back to my inbox again, rather than the next message.
So if I linked a collaborating author, we both get badges...?

You should write a story.
Lol, no. Lady in the street and all that...
I tell him everything and would expect the same back.
