Just finished The Lewis Trilogy by Peter May. Damn good reads.
I watched this film once that was about some hot alien chick whose spaceship crashes on earth, and she basically wanders around fucking people (or watching people fuck). Some doctor takes an interest because she gets injured and heals super fast. Then she meets some other dude from her home planet, and they fix her spaceship and bugger off again.

For porn, it was actually quite an interesting story line. For porn. Can't remember the title though.

I have once. And I do not identify as either bisexual or gay.

Look at this big stinking lie!

I'm bi.
Why would I agree to a MMF threesome if I wasn't going to get to suck some cock?

I'd probably keep it a secret, stop coming to Lush, and then be really weird and awkward around them for the rest of our lives.

You so get me.

An hour is a really short period of time. I don't imagine I would manage to get a whole lot done, especially if I'm so dramatically terminally ill.

Chant and pray and laugh, if possible.

This is just... Hilarious. Wow, some people need to step away from the screen and put the lotion down.

Y'all fancy, using lotion.

Tetley tea, nice and strong with milk and sugar. It's the only way.

Possibly the most British thing ever.

I prefer Scottish Blend, with milk (no sugar), but I don't often drink tea.

EDIT: I'm having a second. Perks of bisexuality, right?

That happened to my good friend, Cecelia.

She and her man were making love in the afternoon, up in his bedroom. He got up to wash his face and when he came back to bed someone had taken his place.

Cecelia. She broke his heart. What a bitch.

the official awards will start monday and will probably be bi-weekly after that, just so people have some time to bask in the love of the community.

The term "bi-weekly" is ambiguous. Do you mean twice per week, or fortnightly?

After reading some of the heated discussions in the forum, this idea might bring about some civility... or not.

Wishful thinking, Chuck.
How can you still, after all of this, be such a blind, delusional fool? How can you not see that you are hurting/endangering those who do or used to love you?

I've had no love for you for a long time - that's been no secret - but I never honestly thought you'd pull shit like this. We all just thought you were an idiot, but this... What the fuck?

And how do you think it's going to end? Things are not going to be okay, no matter how much you pretend otherwise.

You're just an ungrateful cunt, and I hope I never have to see you again.

I'm sick and tired of you being the headline topic whenever I talk to my family. You don't deserve the time and energy and tears that have been wasted on you. Do everyone a favour and just go away.

May I suggest the 'Good Egg' award with gold lettering or is that just a little too old fashioned English?

Gets my vote.

which of my arguments, and I use that term only because you did...

I can't give an example due your aforementioned inability to make one.

I asked a question, quite a reasonable question at that, in a polite tone. in response, I got condescending replies, insults and accusations, but not one mod was able to answer my question. plus, I have been accused several times of being outraged. show me exactly where I say or show outrage. and easily offended? I think I let an awful lot be said before I finally said I think I am owed an apology.

Actually, you never got any condescension or insults for asking the question. In this particular thread, your altercation began with me when you chose to assume that a post I wrote about people being outraged was directed at you.

In fact, the first time I've said anything that could be be construed as insulting was when I implied you were an idiot for thinking Milik's post implied a threat. That was not about you asking a simple question, polite or not - that was about you being an idiot.

(I'm not sure what you mean by accusations).

And your whole tone has, to me, conveyed outrage. You might not be using capital letters or multiple question marks, but it's clear you've got a wasp in your cunt about something. I don't know what you think you've let slide because I can't remember the last time you shut up.

and I didn't say you represent nicola

Yes you did:

mods should be held to a higher standard than an average user to set an example for the others. I think snarkiness and insulting comments are something you give up the right to when you take a position as a mod, unless it is made extremely clear it is an attempt at humor, and not after the fact to CYA. and you as well as several other mods and site admins have not done that, in both this thread or in the other thread asking the same question I did.

While it's lovely to hear your opinion on what a mod should and shouldn't do, I frankly don't give a fuck. I do what I can to help members on this site, but I don't sacrifice my personality or stop calling out morons. I certainly didn't sign away my right to be snarky.

Nowhere have I tried to cover my ass. I make no apologies for the things I have said to you. You are an idiot, an asstard and a moron, and you've done nothing to make me think otherwise.

If I felt you deserved a higher level of respect, I would certainly give it to you. I don't.

I'm not sure how clear that is for many on the outside. And I think that that's what often leads to threads like these.

For the sake of clarity, if I call someone an idiot or asstard, that's me talking. If I share any relevant information about how the site works, then I'm probably doing that on behalf of the site. It shouldn't be hard to distinguish.

Quote by noll
So if people (feel they) get attacked by mods for asking a simple question then that will be seen as an offensive/defensive knee jerk response by the team behind the site, not just by that particular mod.

In all the years I've been on this site, I have never seen anyone "attacked" for asking a simple question. People do, however, get called on their bullshit for being morons, or at least saying moronic things. Even when I defend the site against criticism, it's not "knee jerk" - it's based on my knowledge of the site.

Quote by noll
It leads to annoyances/distrust on both sides that should not be necessary in my mind. And you know how much I like a good confrontation ;)

The problem probably arises from the fact that people think there are "sides". There are mods to keep the site running as smoothly as possible, not to keep the masses in check. I can't even call someone an asstard without being accused of abusing my supposed fucking power.
