"Kiss" is the one that gets me, too. Always agonising over different ways to write about kissing.

"Smile" as well. I have plenty of synonyms, but my characters seem to be smiling a lot and I quickly run out.

I believe that once you start editing, it goes "offline" but it might also stay up under the original text. A story mod will have to confirm. It's been a long time since I did an actual edit of an existing story. Usually I just tweak category, links, etc.

Yes, there is only ever one version of the story on the site, so when it is edited and returns to our queue, it won’t be visible to anyone but story mods and the author.

Views, votes and comments will be retained, as will the original posting date (so it won’t go back to the front page once reverified).

Worth putting in a very brief summary of the changes in the Note to Moderators, e.g., “Fixed a typo, reworded a couple of sentences, added more tags.”

Lisa. Hands down, the best on the site.

And a lovelier lady you never could meet.

I stand by this six years later, even though she’s no longer around the site.

Also Liz and tams_back_yay.
Your ass is used to being uni-directional, so if your body senses something in your rectum, its natural response is to try to get it the hell out of there.

Build up your “tolerance”. Gradually increase the amount of time you have something inserted by resisting that urge to push it out. Anal plugs are good for this.

Have fun with your anal adventures. smile
I don’t leave a comment expecting anything in response from the author. If someone didn’t reply to my comment, I’d very quickly forget all about it.

You don’t know what’s going on with that person. They might not be online often, or something might be going on with them. Or they might not know what to say. Or they might not want to say anything. All fine.

As an author, I try to respond to comments made on recent stories, to show appreciation. If you comment on something I wrote years ago, I probably won’t respond, but I might “like” it. I don’t feel obligated to do any of that though, and I don’t feel bad if I don’t.
Can’t believe some people don’t know what a will is.

I mean, it’s a dead giveaway.

A forum signature doesn't address the question, either.

No, I know that. But she hasn't created the thread as some sort of "marketing strategy" to show off a forum signature that appears at the bottom of every post she makes. She has asked the question in the title of the thread, and obviously had nothing more to add.

Do you have any thoughts on the thread topic yourself?

Huh? You start a forum thread asking who Lush's most successful Amazon Kindle author is, and don't even address that question yourself? Instead just reeling off a plot synopsis of your own story? If a cheap self-marketing trick like this works I'll be fucking astounded.

I think that's her forum signature.

You also haven't addressed the question.

I think there are several Lush authors who have done quite well. Annie mentioned AbigailThornton. Also Dancing_Doll, Jaymal, Saucymh.

Hard to say who has been most successful, and I don't know who, if anyone, has made it their main source of income, but certainly there are some talented writers here who have had a lot of success.

How can I convince her otherwise?

I don't think you should try to "convince her" of anything. I think you should have a mature conversation with her about it.

Honestly, why is it such a big deal for you to wear a different swimsuit? Why is it important for you to feel sexy and sensual when you're at the pool or beach, especially if it's making someone you care about uncomfortable?

Not questions you need to answer to me, but probably what you should discuss with your girlfriend.

I don't think people should be dictating what their significant other does or does not wear, but this is obviously making her feel insecure or jealous or whatever and she's had the maturity to voice that. Talk to her about it and decide if making her feel that way is a reasonable trade-off for you feeling more "confident".

You a Twining's girl? Or PG Tips? Tetley, Yorkshire Tea, Typhoo?!

I need to know!

Not even a mention for Scottish Blend?
Yes, the same one twice in one night.

Have you ever (successfully) hit on a bartender?
In which case, definitely be spanked. *bends over* ;)
