The first one because the colours are so vibrant and she looks very happy. Also I love the story idea very much!

Happy Canada Day!
:worship:
If things continue to get worse here in the grand USA, one of you Canadians will have to sneak me, my fam, and Butters across the border, please.
We will dress you as a moose and Butters can come as a river otter. I hope you don't mind a crowded bed. Some of you may have to sleep on floors.

And to you as well! Nice one here. Bit humid but temps are nice and sun is out. Should be good for the parties and fireworks tonight. They are saying there's a 40% chance of showers but radar is clear as a bell right now. We went for a walk along the river this morning. That's probably as close to celebrating as we'll get, though I might watch the big concert from Parliament Hill tonight. I think Sarah McLachlan is on the bill and she has new music out. I have been a fan since she started and danged if she isn't still a top notch singer-songwriter, and pretty hot, at 57.
Today's weather is perfect on the west coast and everyone is in a celebratory mood. Going to watch the fireworks later too. Maybe make our own too! ☺️🥰

Normally, you would get top-of-the-line service for your premium content. But currently they’ve suffered a real backlog they’re trying to work through so temporarily we all have to wait a little bit
I have a story that’s been waiting for a couple of days which is almost unheard of here
But a little patient will pay off and it’ll come out and things will normalize. This is just a highly unusual situation.
Thank you very much for your reply. I am just impatient sometimes. 🫣

And some more yummies for your tummies…
Feast your eyes!
I have an idea forming in that back of my noggin for the comp. I'm gonna let it marinate before putting cursor to pixel…
Take care, y'all!
I have a title and 3 paragraphs so far, which I am already unsatisfied with! lol

Trump is the 'X factor' as Canada picks a prime minister

TORONTO − In Canada, a defiant patriotism has taken hold, thanks to Donald Trump.
Canadian flags line residential streets. Supermarkets label Canadian-made products with maple leafs. "Elbows up," a defensive hockey maneuver, has become a rallying cry to unite the country against a common enemy – the American president.
This southern friend of my northern Canadian friends my thoughts go with you.
☘️
Even Bloc Québécois is seeking unity! Beware of pigs flying!

The Vancouver killings? Or something personal? Either way, vibes. The event in Vancouver was a real stunner to wake up to even over here in Ontario.
11 people dead in a few moments of time. I am still reeling. Yesterday the world made sense. Today has fallen into darkness.

Glad to hear. I am ok, too. Cleaned the garage after lunch along with other, lesser, outdoor chores. Going for my walk soon.
Comp entry is off my radar but it goes until end of May so I am certainly not out. My current story keeps wanting more and I am now broaching the 10k limit which then brings up the question of finding a breakpoint and making it a two parter. The good news is that much of that growth is a new sex scene.
We had a tragedy last night. And today I am cleaning out memory boxes.

Headache is gone. Weather improved as the day wore on so I suspect that this one was weather- related. Anyhow, I am no longer in pain.
Made good progress on a new Lush story. Not sure if it will make it, but prognosis is good. Sex of the MMF variety is happening anyhow.
Hugs you. Sex happening is always good! I hope it lasts! ![]()

Yay! Glad to hear.
My pain is gone right now too. The storm passed and the afternoon brought some sunshine. My head pain is almost always weather related. It sucks. My head is like a human barometer. I though my sinus surgery would fix this. 😩
Hugs. I hope that you keep feeling better. I wish I could offer more!

It’s crazy the positive effect it has on my creativity and anxiety, too.
In other news, just took Dad to eye dr for his monthly shot in the eye for macular degeneration. He’s almost blind in his right eye, so the Dr is trying to preserve his left. The medicine is very expensive and not covered by insurance. Patients rely on grants from outside organization and I was told the org just had its funding pulled. 😕 Of course, we’re gonna keep up the shots. Just another big hit to Dad’s rapidly dwindling funds. I can’t imagine him with Alzheimer’s and blind, too. Too many things suck in my country right now.
Please, bring me a bottle of something strong, Bearkeep.
Think about moving to Canada! Hugs. I hope that things improve for you. ❤️

Well – only two Rumpies in the top 10 list. We wuz robbed!
NVMD. The poems that were selected – 8 of 10 of which I've read – were many, varied, and well done, so I guess we can't really complain that the best ones were chosen.
But special congratulations to Bonnie and Kistin! You've upheld our tradition of finishing among the top, and well-deserved, both of you!
I am still not sure how that happened. I think it was a mistake... blushing.
Bounces in wearing a pair of Canadian Maple Leaf panties and a Team Curling tee! I wrote a new mirco which I think James should be especially intererested in since it's Called Sacrifice to the Bear God! https://www.lushstories.com/stories/microfiction/sacrifice-to-the-bear-godGiggles, posts, puts donuts and bounces out again!
A carnal adventure for special canidae friend

Hit me with a stiff drink or three, please…
Hugging you. ❤️

Hey! Look at me! I'm SANDY CLAWS!!!
(looks around – no one home)
Hmm… Somehow I managed to get in before anyone else.
I see Bertha has been well tended, so I'll add some Kona beans to keep her happy and hot.
Darjeeling and Buddha's Blend as teas on the sideboard. They have Red Rose down here, but it's not the same. Hot water and condensed milk for them what wants hot chocolate, with the requisite marshmallows.
Donuts and Danish.
It was 25C here yesterday (that's about 80F) and it's -13C at home this morning.
Plus they're talking about getting a FOOT of snow at home tonight.
Oh, well – at least we have a snow service to look after the igloo…
I think I'll stay here, though, and let them sort it all out.
Beachcombing, anyone?
Thank you for the treats, James. We have been neglected the past few days. lol Sorry about all the inclement weather. It must be a grave hardship.

I can ship some down if you're feeling homesick. ☃️😁
Good morning. Yeah, not looking forward to tomorrow. Might work from home tomorrow instead of Friday. The meeting I normally have on Thursday got bumped to Friday anyway due to a company exec needing the meeting room.
Send some to me too! Enough to build a snowman, please!

Morning Rumpies
Gratitude is the word of the day. I’m grateful for you all. ❤️
The second part of my project is delayed, so I’m taking a short leave from work.
Y’all nailed the comp! Elliot is smiling! ❤️
I’ll take a hot cocoa and be in my corner.
Hugs. I did my part! And so happy for you. You needed a rest. You should make the most of it. Serves you hot chocolate with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
