Don't be like me and trigger yourself by looking at an ex-crush's blog. It's not worth it.

Now I can't stop thinking about her and how I almost proposed to her after only knowing her for a few weeks (well, part of it was that I wasn't well at the time because of depression but that's not an excuse).

Ugh. Some weekend this is.

Monday is so close you can almost reach out and touch it. That's when your Jane returns, correct? smile Nothing good every comes from looking up exes, agreed. It's all a little depressing, unless you're managed to stay on good terms or have simply downgraded to fuck buddies. Think of all of us, instead, and imagine us sending out warm hugs and mugs of hot chocolate. That should cheer you up!
Good morning everyone! I am a little hungover today, but shaking it off. I have just realized I have been spending a lot of time not writing lately, so I need to work on that. Hope everyone is well. Love you all! Even James, who keeps telling me that he's already taken. lol

Morning y'all. I could use a latte with sugar, and don't skimp on the foamy bits... I like that stuff.

I also brought a big bucket of popcorn and a pitcher of tea so that we can all watch the shit show that is the United States of America from a distance (I'm sorry for those that are in the middle of it). Although I felt hopeless for a while, especially after my absentee ballot got mailed back a month after the elections 'invalidated' due to my signature (those sneaky fucks), it's good news about Georgia. Bad news about the rest. Hopefully, with a house and senate majority, they can finish impeaching Trump and hopefully get him arrested (but I'm only cautiously optimistic.)

As for the popcorn, I have kettle, caramel, and garlic butter. Feel free to share. smile

Not sure which I want more so I'll have some of each. Not mixed, though. Garlic and caramel together sound a bit dubious. Tried not to watch too much of the newsfeed yesterday, but it was close to impossible not to catch some of it. So scary. I hope that everyone takes a step back and calms down before things get worse. It's unsettling for us up here, too.
I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe today. There's a lot of madness going on!
2020 is almost over! On to a hopefully better, 2021! Happy New Year's Eve, everyone. Lots of hugs and kisses and fireworks!
Lazy morning during the winter. Late night during the summer.

Yes, I won 2 gold medals in my belt class in Taekwondo at nationals

HYE been on a sports team? If yes, which sport?

I played hockey when I was younger, and was on an all girls team.

Have you ever been on television?
Someone sent us a cheesecake. Chocolate chip cheesecake. It might be the best thing I have ever tasted (that doesn't involve going down on someone). It's like a slice of orgasm. There's more if anyone wants to try it. I'll put the plate on the bar.

i'm not opposed to the idea. it's a good time for a fresh start, but you need some reason for commitment besides just a new calendar year. i don't make resolutions per se, but i guess i'd say running a half-marathon sometime in 2021.

what is the thing you're most hoping for in 2021?

An end to the pandemic and lockdown and being able to see my family.

What are your plans for New Years Eve 2021?

Oh, DO tell, Bunny dear: We would like to hear ALL of the creamy details about what you did – or had done to you – on Christmas Eve…

James

Let's just say that my ass is pretty sore, still...
We're about to watch Wonder Woman. The new one. Had a wonderful Christmas Eve, although the less details shared, the better. A nice visit with my family via zoom this morning and then cocktails, which make me dizzy(er). I hope everyone else had a lovely day. Love you all. Thank you for being in my life.

That moment when you discover an amazing new book series but nobody you know has read it so you have no one to scream about it with.

What is the book series? Maybe someone here has read it.

Gosh, Bunnie, that's so generous of you. Did you mean you would do the peeing, or the receiving? Let's be clear before we start, eh?

James

I think it would be fun to pee on you. Giggling.
Quote by JamesLlewellyn

I'll have to think about it. Ideas gratefully received as I've never written a pee-play before.

I would be happy to pee on so you have some experience.
Just thinking out loud. Could we have a Christmas party here?
Quote by Green_Man

Certainly, Bunny-girl. You are most assuredly invited. You bring the potatoes and I'll make the gravy for them. You just need to find your way to my place here in Kansas. I will have fun feeding you enough to help make you plump.

According to google, it should take me about 22 hours. Leave the lights on please! smile

I'm sure it will be a lovely visit for Christmas! I hope you enjoy being able to be together.

Heading for Alabama next week to see my youngest and her man and to help them celebrate the first Christmas in their new home. He has just recovered from Covid-19 and we have all tested negative (some of us tested negative twice LOL). So, we are all being very cautious so that we can enjoy a little intimate Christmas with just the 4 of us.

And while I will miss my other kids, the youngest and I have never spent a Christmas apart yet. Which is rather incredible as she is soon 25. The fact that Covid nearly screwed that up, but didn't is a blessing indeed.

Enjoy family time, James!

I'm going to enjoy a cup of tea and maybe even sneak a doughnut!

Not going to be able to spend the holidays with family this year. Trying not to be sad about it, but it's a little hard not to be. Glad that you get to continue your tradition and I'm happy that you're all healthy now.

*hugs*

Good day to all dear Rumplators. I'll have a cuppa java if you please, barkeep.

It is officially the Christmas season here in our household. I bought some sweet potatoes at the grocery store yesterday so I will be making candied yams for Christmas dinner on the 25th. That makes it the holiday for us.

It's time to continue reading the contest entries. Actually, I think I am caught up. I can move on to regular stories.

We're all invited, right? I can bring the potatoes. smile
I just sent in my story for the contest. It was attempt #5 but I'm really happy with it. Thank you Michelle and especially James for encouraging me to write it. And thank you Annie for inspiration. smile

Looking like we're going to get more snow, so something warm, please. Hot chocolate would be nice. Going to spend the day watching movies, I think. not really much else to do. That and eat brownies and pie. I'm going to be plump by the Spring.

Since, I'm on bar duty (sidles behind the counter) as long as I can one of those too, please Bunny, yes, you can, Lyfbuz. That is, unless Bunny prefers me? *flutters eyelashes*

LB does snore... *sidles up to Curvygalore* And he doesn't flutter his lashes nearly as nice as you.

Hey curvy! Mr Barkeep may I have a Buzzed Bunny please?

It's actually called a Besotted Bunny.

1 ½ oz London dry gin

½ oz sweet vermouth

½ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

½ oz Rich Honey Syrup

6 drops rosewater

1 large handful of ice

1 dried rosebud, for garnish (optional)

Pour all ingredients except ice, Scotch and garnish into a cocktail shaker. Rinse a chilled coupe glass with Scotch. Add ice and shake until chilled. Double strain through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine-mesh strainer into the prepared glass. Garnish with rosebud.
