Yes. My taste tends towards heavier women.

Why is a bit of an odd question, since most men don't seem introspective enough to really probe why they have the desires they do. Does the average straight guy ask himself why he's attracted to women? Or more specifically, to a particular body type or hairstyle? Of course not. He just is.

But I'll take a shot. in my formative years, thicker girls showed more interest in me than thinner women did. That may have been because they weren't fending off advances from as many uber-masculine guys who failed to see what they had to offer. That's about as close as I can get to the why I am so fucking imprinted, and so love curves on a woman.

Is it overrated? It depends on what you want to get out of it. If you just want to enjoy the sun on your private parts, you'll be happy.

If, on the other hand, you're expecting to see lots of hot, nude women (at least on an American nude beach), you will be sorely disappointed. The only time I've been to one (a legal one, in a state that sanctions them), there were probably at least a hundred people distributed across the mile-long stretch of beach ... of whom maybe five were women. All of them were pretty obviously paired up with guys. The chance of a woman you meet at a nude beach choosing you, and going at it with you, is less than of having aliens descend upon the beach and choosing you for their next anal probe experiment.

Speaking of anal probing, you might find it a very enjoyable experience if your taste also encompasses men. Like I said, the population is easily 90% male and most likely 70% gay or bi. I mean, most of the people at this beach were in a very obvious "gay section" a long walk from the entrance, and I could hear guys going at it in the scrubby, secluded woods behind the beach. I could easily have hooked up with a guy, had I decided to go for it. As Doctor Strangelove said, "All that is required is the will to do so."

I was so amazed by what I saw that I didn't act. But if I went again, knowing what to expect, It would be very difficult to resist temptation. I am working on a story right now about that very temptation and how I would like to succumb to it.

Sounds like a wonderful first step on your journey, Amanda. I especially love "The second our lips met, it just clicked."

I'd label as bi-curious straight for now, though if I start getting some regular guy action, I guess it will be time to change that to bisexual.

FYI, you can use whichever label you see fit, because orientation is about desire, not experience. It's legit to call yourself bisexual even if you've never touched a man, if that reflects how you feel inside. That also doesn't mean you have to call your self bisexual. You do you.

Last year, I changed my own designation on Lush from bi-curious to bisexual for that very reason, despite only having sucked another guy once. I have always used the bisexual label in my own head anyway, from a young age, and I decided it was time to say it out loud.

"Right this very moment, someone is thinking about you."

That is an excellent premise for a story.

The sexual tension has built up over the course of the Spring, as Pete, Sam and I got too busy with our studies to get together over the last few weeks of the school year. But after that drought, as we just finished reminding ourselves how much we enjoy sucking and fucking each other, their other roommate, Mark, makes a request on behalf of his girlfriend, fairest Fiona. Find out the details in Serial Thriller, Part Four: The Big Ask.

The main event WILL happen in Part Five! I hope to get that out this week, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy the tease.

By the way, I know from my years on the Lush forums that quite a few bisexual, bi-curious, heteroflexible and straight-but-interested-in-cock male readers are not really into men kissing each other. I totally get it, and felt that way myself for many years. So, readers who feel that way may be interested to know that unlike in most of my other stories, there is NO kissing between the guys at any point in this series. It's purely fun and physical! Be aware that they do pretty much everything else, though. Of course, if you were worried about that, you probably wouldn't be reading my stories anyway.

Shouldn't have to matter, except as an experiment to see if it solves a specific problem. It's 2026. Browsers are commodities that only exist to display content. It's not exactly rocket surgery. It's like saying Sony makes the best TVs. That may be true, but you should still be able to watch your favorite programs on a Vizio just fine.

Also, in the very rare instance that I or someone I know has an issue with Safari or Edge on a specific site that doesn't want to play nice with all the browsers, Chrome is the last browser I recommend to people. It's a Google product. End of.

Yeah, just try asking for small breasts. Ain't no such thing, apparently 🤣

Somewhat surprisingly, I'm now getting good results having Perchance do that, with my Dating Daphne project.

The thing I can't get it to generate is men with clean-shaven faces. It really wants to give everyone that rugged appearance.

i ended up with deep repressed feelings of humiliation and emasculation that still plague me even today and we have not played or even had sex in a very long time now. i struggle with my ability to satisfy her after watching her with him, it changed me somehow, it seems as if it affected my Alpha status as a male.

I’m sorry to hear the effect it had on you, and I hope that it gets better. In my opinion, cuckolding is a far more dangerous game, emotionally, than hotwife play, even though the mechanics are often the same. From here, I can’t psychoanalyze why she put you through that so early in your marriage and brought in the old FWB quite so enthusiastically, but there are several plausible possibilities. All with implications for your relationship.

Do you think that to this day, SHE thinks less of you as a man as a result of this, or is this mostly in your head and she has no idea? The former would be a very serious marital problem. If the latter, could you trust her to share your feelings and have her, as your beloved life partner, lift you up as a man instead of tear you down? Opening up carries further risks for your well-being, if she isn’t careful with your trust, but if you think that’s a possibility, the potential upside would be not only restoring intimacy in your marriage, but taking it to a new level.

I wouldn’t often suggest this, but if (and only if) the level of trust isn’t what you need for your emotional health (or never was - a tough question to ask yourself), AND for legitimate reasons (kids, financial, social) you need or want to stay married, there is another way to restore your sense of manliness.

That would be to Cheat. Again, something I would rarely suggest.

If you do cheat, do NOT do it out of revenge. You already know how it feels to be demeaned in front of someone else doing your spouse, so do cheat secretly and do it for yourself, not out of spite. Doing it in a way that makes you feel more of a man - but also more of an asshole - is no solution. You also should not do this if you think you might later feel guilty and confess, which she might later use against you, also leaving you worse off. It's your little secret. Forever.

The path to doing this without doing more harm than help is fairly narrow; but IF you can find another woman who DOES find you sexy (and isn’t looking to drain you financially*, which also would leave you feeling even worse about yourself), it might leave you feeling a whole lot better about yourself and your masculinity, even if you only get together a few times. I wish you well on your journey

* Be really, really, really careful about this, especially online. Long-con romance scams are everywhere, with both men and women losing their life savings left and right. Beware even meeting someone on Lush unless they’ve been an active member for a long time, and I'd be very wary of catfishing. If you meet someone and she or a relative has some financial crisis before you’ve even met (or had sex), I don't care how hard-luck the story is: RUN AWAY. Under NO circumstances should you spend more on your potential mistress than the cost of actual dates, hotel rooms or the occasional box of chocolates. That means NO (fungible) jewelry, either! Besides, if the relationship is that transactional, it won’t help your sense of sexual self-worth anyway. Find someone who genuinely thinks you're sexy. If that fails, the staff at any Nevada brothel will happy to make you feel like the thousand or two thousand bucks you pay them, and that may be enough.

They're cumming fast and furious! New chapters, that is. Of course.

If you weren't sure whether I'd done the wrong thing by blowing Sam at the end of Part two, you'll get your answer in Serial Thriller, Part Three: Sixty-Nine Plus!

Latest Spoiler: it was the right thing, turning our next encounter into an all-male, all-out fuckfest. Find out how, now.

I think rubbing against a crack or what you describe might actually be more interesting to me than actual anal. Similar to how I find frotting an appealing idea, even though I have never done it.

I wrote Dreaming and Creaming a few years ago, featuring precisely the act you describe: a guy rubbing in an ass crack until he cums, never actually entering the hole. I think that could still be incredibly satisfying for both partners, especially with lots of lube (or foreskin, as in this story).

Would make for a nice, low-pressure situation for someone unsure about whether they want to be an anal recipient. If they're not ready, no big deal and still a very hot way for their partner to get off. On the other hand, if the lust does strike in the moment and they're ready to open up, no pause needed because they're pre-lubed. Is probably how I'd do it if I pursued anal.

I just have to do steampunk to have written in every genre in Lush

Ha! I'm not as far along as you, but I do at least have story outlines or ideas for every non-IF Genre ... except, you guessed it, Steampunk. Just looked at my notes again ... months ago, in all caps, I wrote "NO FUCKING IDEA YET." I'll get there, though. Just need to take the time to read a few stories and get a feel for it.

Along those lines, simply switching between edit mode and Preview mode in Lush helps a ton. I do catch a lot of errors in Preview, as well as simply better ways of writing something that doesn't pop out at me while in edit mode.

I don’t think I ever made it that far. I still use Grammarly on a regualr basis.

I don't think I ever will make it that far. I make too many mistakes (leaving out a word or putting the same word twice in a row) that my eyes tend to skim over no matter how carefully I think I'm reading, at least when it's my own work that I'm going over. Grammarly is absolutely indispensable to me for flagging those. Even though it is absolutely useless to me for almost every other purpose.

Asking AI to generate story ideas seems okay to me, but once it starts writing actual words for (even if you "de-AI" them by modifying and rearranging them), that sounds to me like crossing over the line.

I don't know why the pizza nazis get so worked up about this and whine that it's "not pizza." As with sex, don't get hung up on labels and definitions. Just enjoy what you enjoy. If you don't like it, don't eat it. But don't tell other people what to eat. There are a lot of foods in this world that are gross to me - including several other popular pizza toppings - but I don't go around bitching about it. Eat and let eat.

Personally, I like it but wouldn't often order a whole pie of it because there are other pizzas I like better. But if someone orders a bunch of pizzas for a group, and there's a Hawaiian in there, I'll have a slice.

Well, if I did bother writing them out, my true stories wouldn't be more exciting.

I'm happy to announce a new series! This one will be short and (I hope) sweet, with six chapters that I should be able to turn out one after another.

Serial Thriller will tell the tale of how an unexpected circle jerk (described in Bate Club, the first chapter, published today) somehow led to a gangbang with an eager woman. No, I didn't see that sequence of events coming either. Nor did I expect how much she would enjoy it. I thought gangbangs, especially in porn, were often demeaning to the woman involved. But by the end of this series, I will find that Fiona is positively empowered by being able to make four virile young men cum.

I wrote this series several years before joining Lush, but have never bothered cleaning it up and getting it published until now. It's time to get it out of my Drafts folder and into the world!

Serial Thriller, Part One: Bate Club

I get baited into a bate club, on the way to an eventual gangbang.

Masturbation

Sometimes a tissue, sometimes my hand and then slurp it down. Once last week, I threw my legs over my head and shot into my mouth. At my age the distance has gotten further, so a lot of it misses, but it's still fun.

No lie, I started writing because so many of the top MM stories on another erotica platform … see if I could beat them in the ratings with characters that behaved in a more familiar manner to me. I…am…[sigh] still trying.

Well, keep at it! I applaud your efforts. I have your story in my Queue and will check it out.

To be clear, I have no problem with this phenomenon of women writing male erotica, but if it occasionally verges into the unrealistic in ways that the female audience doesn't put a check on, (1) it can’t possibly be as ludicrous as the bulk of “lesbian” erotica created by and for men, and (2) it is an opportunity for men like you and me to add a male voice and set the record … uh, straight.

Club bathroom quickie? The guy who gets turned on by thunderstorms? The straight bro who tries to fight his fiancée's male best friend and loses the fight and his anal virginity?

Any of those sound like good MM fodder, but I must say the lightning one is [corrected] most intriguing to me. “Lightning Rod” sounds like a good title.

Any of those sound like good MM fodder, but I must say the lightning one is most irritating final. “Lightning Rod” sounds like a good title.

2/15 update: OMG, I don't find any of your story ideas irritating, and I'm sooo sorry I didn't double-check AutoCorrect's work here. I meant to say "most intriguing to me," not "most irritating final." Corrected above!

I'm shifting gears to focus on the pile of mostly-done stories languishing in my Drafts folder. I submitted "Sloe Ride" last night. "How Do They?" is ready to go once that gets published. "Dating Daphne" and "Daphne's Double Date" follow afterward chronologically, and should be ready within a few days. I have also been cleaning up my six-story "Serial Thriller" bate-club/gangbang series, which will go next. "Try Sexual" needs a bit more TLC than the others, but can be ready when all of the above are released.

Whew! That's eleven stories that will be ready one after the other (and take me past the 100-story mark). I will still try to respect the Mods and wait a couple days between publication and submitting the next, as has been suggested.

I've also given more thought to the MM-novel situation I described above. With a minor change in plans, my long-paused It's A Date! series could become a decent three-act, fully-MM novella - with 80% of Act One already published. I think this exercise will make good training wheels for the genre.

It's true that building erotic tensions is harder and more rewarding, but personally I'm looking for that reward and the prior buildup just makes it that much hotter.

I have written a number of stories that juice the expectation without any actual sex, but I only do that in a series where I'm going to deliver the hot and nasty to my readers in the following chapter.

You should’ve seen what I came up with when I asked the AI generator to give me a picture of a redhead with a man between her leg legs 🤪😹

Sounds like a good idea for a Fantasy/Sci-Fi story.

That sounds like a terrible case of plagiarism, eh?

And that's why it's called Generative AI and not Creative AI. Its entire existence is about gobbling up massive amounts of human creative output and answering questions about it (including "Write me a story about...").

There are plenty of great use cases for it, including creative ones. If you use it to generate a dirty pic for a story cover, or put together a PowerPoint deck for work, that is not plagiarism.

If, however, its output is in turn submitted to a place like Lush (or any academic setting) where work is required to be original, then yes it is plagiarism.

The advice to not worry about labels is excellent, yes, but misses the more important consideration: you need to figure out whether you prefer having sex with males. Get on one of the apps and find someone. Until you have a throbbing, fleshy cock filling your mouth with cum or jizz dripping out your asshole, you won’t really know if that’s something you can’t live without.

Maybe you find out that it's just a "fetish" (OP's word) or side fantasy. Maybe you find you’re the lucky unicorn who could be ecstatic fucking (and eventually falling in love with) either sex. But you also need to face the third possibility, that you will enjoy gay sex more, a preference that is guaranteed to widen with age and become undeniable. Find out now.

Having sorted your sexual preference first, you can then play with cross-dressing or even gender experimentation, Once you've found males to hook up with, it will NOT be hard to find someone willing to help you with that.

"Write what you know" remains the cardinal rule. Kimmi absolutely nailed it by saying the absolute first thing to play with - and the second - is the setting, with the characters being maybe the third. Change the date, change the location, change the scenarios that bring the characters together, change the characters' backgrounds and internal motivations.

Personally, I've been slower than a lot of writers in changing my voice, even after 90 stories having rarely departed from making (a version of) me the protagonist, always speaking in my own voice. Again, write what you know. This year, I plan to finally enter the Novels genre and write third-person with omniscient narration that can see everyone's internal thoughts and not just my own. But it has taken me years to work myself towards even that. Not saying you would want to take that long in shifting your tone and perspective, but I don't think you need to be in a hurry to do so when there's so much to play with in terms of setting and characters.

Which leads to my other major tip: keep entering Competitions when they come up. You got a great start with Elf on a Shelf. These contests will force you to refine and improve your writing, and to come up with scenarios that would never have come to mind otherwise. Without a competition prompting me to come up with the idea, would I have ever written a 9000-word Noir thriller, or a love story about biking the Great Divide Route that crams six sex scenes and twice as many sex partners into just 2000 words? A humorous, cum-drenched, Hitchcockian piece about solving the mystery of a future genetically-engineered bioterrorist Porkdemic? A tale about skiing and and getting high on pot cookies with former Indian coworkers on an unplanned Christmas layover? Or ... an erotic poem, about anything? Nope. None of these would have come into existence. Sorry if sharing some of the contest entries that I'm particularly proud of comes off as making it about me, but I really, really owe a lot to the competitions I have entered, with or without any recognition for it. It's about the writing, not the winning.
