Happy Verbal day!

I hope you have a lovely celebration of your birth.

It must be about the right time then to run a new "Attention Whore" competition don't you think?

That could well put you over the half a million profile views!

If you haven't checked out Annie's new playmate on her profile, you should.
Due to popular demand, we have decided to give Strap-On Sex stories their own category.

They never really fitted well (behave!) as a sub-category, and are in high demand.

This should make them a lot easier to find.

Writers - If you have an existing story which would be better suited to this category, please feel free to transfer them over.

EDIT: There appears to be a delay when you move stories over to the new category. I think it's a cache issue. Gav will confirm.

https://www.lushstories.com/strap-on-sex.aspx/60

This section features stories that involve sexual activity with a “strap-on”—a dildo attached to a strap or harness. Although typically fastened around the waist and used as a substitute for a penis, strap-ons can also be used to enable double penetration, or they can be fastened to a lover's face to create an intimate penetrating experience. They come in many shapes, sizes and colours, and some even vibrate!

Strap-ons are commonly used to perform anal sex on a man (known as “pegging”), but there are countless other possibilities, and authors might draw inspiration from other categories such as Lesbian, Threesomes and Trans. The only limit is the imagination of the author. Stories in this category may contain elements of reluctance, domination and even humiliation, but might also dip into themes of trust, experimentation and exploration.

There were many beautifully crafted stories written for this competition, which left our judges with a very difficult task in selecting our favourites (in order).

Here are the winning entries. Congratulations to Tam, Rach and Fuzzyblue on your placings:

1st Place ($200): Stone Butch, by tams_back_yay
2nd Place ($125): Smoke Signals by sprite
3rd Place ($75): Sometimes I Wonder If My Behaviour Is Considered Normal, by fuzzyblue

These wonderfully written stories made up the Top 10:

Away Above The Chimney Tops, by clum
Yellow, Blue, Green and Red. Orange, Purple; and Black too., by CuriousAnnie
Summer of '88, by vanessa26
Finding Love on the Other Side, by techgoddess
Born On The 12th Of July, by deviantsusie
Dances With Lions, by sandy2moon
Uncaging Our Hearts, by KimmiBeGood

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this competition a great success.

I will be awarding RR's and EP's shortly, and notifying the winners.

A new competition will be announced shortly.

Thank you!

Our resident code monkey has been undertaking some major code changes over the last few weeks, and it's been tested on our sister site.

A change to the config file knocked out the link to the forums here.

It has been patched and everyone should now be able to login as usual.

If not, please try logging out and in again as this resets your site cookie.
It was a pleasure awarding this series an OS Award.

Congratulations Curvy!

My contact at the BBC will be in touch regarding the mini-series
I entered ten puns into a contest to see which one would win.

No pun in ten did.
After being recommended them by Liz, I finally convinced accounts to buy me one.

I picked up a Corsair K70 (because of the low profile keys and top reviews). It is absolutely a world of difference compared to the mushy MS Ergo 4000 keyboards I've been using for an age.

So pretty! (I turn off all the lights as it's not Christmas)

I wish I'd bought one years ago. It's like playing on a proper piano instead of a cheap Casio keyboard.

Now all I have to do is get used to something 3 inches less wide. Sigh

The other good thing about them is if they go wrong, you can simply get new keys. Much better for the environment.

And they help prevent you from getting RSI.

I highly recommend anyone who spends a good amount of time at their keyboard, to pick one up. You owe it to your fingers and hands!
"I think I inserted it too far in."

"There's nothing wrong with hydroxychloroquine. GIMME MOAHRRRRR."

"Toupée or not Toupée. What was the question again?"
For those who aren't aware, our mobile site is quite active, and throws up a unique set of "challenges" for Moderators from time to time.

One person in particular, has been dealing with these admirably over the last few months.

Please give it up for Buda, a hard working, friendly and likeable (hot) guy.

Thank you Buda for all your time and effort

I didn't even notice there were people until I read the title …
It's hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.

I had a great orgasm yesterday morning, thanks.

Wait, what was the question?

Me too.

Google analytics keep me informed.

Making the information available to the public, for one of the top 3 erotic story sites on the web, wouldn’t make a great deal of business sense!
I've promoted this new competition on our socials now.

I'm looking forward to reading these stories.
Happy Jai celebration day!

I hope you have a wonderful birthday xx

The famous 1937 song "Over the Rainbow", written for the musical motion picture "Wizard Of Oz" and sang by the young Judy Garland, tells, carried by the hope and optimism in the tune, about the dream of a place far away, free of all trouble.

In modern terms, the rainbow theme in the lyrics matches the multicolored flag — the representation of inclusion at pride marches. In the context of June as Pride Month, we're picking up this symbolism of the LGBTQ+ community.

Competition Theme

The theme of this contest is based on the meaning behind the colours on the rainbow flag, and we're looking for stories that feature Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer themes.

We want writers to be inspired by the accompanying image (of which there are many variations) and use the message behind one or more of the colors.

For example, "Vitality and energy" - perhaps your main characters are athletes who discover they have an interest in the same sex during a hot workout session? "Serenity and nature" - maybe an all girls camping trip turns into something unexpected?

Feel free to use as many or few of the colours as you see fit!

To make it more challenging, we are setting a limit of 3,500 words for this competition.

Prizes:

1st Place: $200
2nd Place: $125
3rd Place: $75

Full details and dates can be found here >>

This competition was a resounding success, with well over 100 people entering.

There were lots of new faces amongst the entries, which was lovely to see.

One entry stood out above all others.

Congratulations to Mags for taking out the $100 prize!

Addiction, by Saucymh

Standing to her left and right on the podium are Liz and Stormdog:

Summer Lust, by Liz
The Best Planned Lay, by Stormdog

Whittling down the entries to a Top 10 proved impossible. Indeed it was very hard to get it down to a Top 20. Here's how our judges ranked them:

Earthy Sweetness, by elliotlacey31
The Power of the Poppy, by sprite
The Divorce, by deviantsusie
Trial and Tribute, by Jen
The Sinner's Glade, by TangerineSky
Stolen Kisses, by RuNe
Fucked in the Fields, by tams_back_yay
Footage, by JWren
Defloration, by el_henke
Woman, by AylaJ
Typewriter Of The Damned, by vanessa26
The Other Woman, by Whispered_Words
"Why is there a typewriter?", by ChrisPowell68
Could it be?, by ChrisM
Unfolding Petals, by KimmiBeGood
Tonsorium, by AltaBrwnSgr
.... Pants on Fire, by PalindromeRedux

I'd like to make a few shout-outs:

DeviantSusie - that is one of the best photochops I have ever seen. Brilliantly done! The story was excellent too.

Elliot - you have an incredible way with words. Your pieces always make me pause for thought. Intelligently written.

Vanessa - I loved this piece. Like something out of Hammer House of Horrors. In fact if it had been a horror themed comp, this would have blown the rest out of the water!

ChrisPowell - My notes: "Very funny and original. 'Get on with it' feeling interrupting sex to ask questions." We've all been there!

Ayla - We don't get an awful lot of "Trans" stories. This felt powerful and was very well done.

AltaBrwnSgr - I wouldn't mind taking a "trip" to the Tonsorium!

Thank you to everyone who entered this competition, to our judges and all those who read, scored and commented on the entries.

I will go about the task of handing out the EP's and RR's.

Mags - check your inbox!

A new competition will be announced shortly.

Nicola
This category was always meant to be for stand-alone stories. The limit is there to represent a writing challenge.

We have been getting people submitting entries which are clearly meant to be part of a series / multi-chaptered. That kind of defeats the purpose of the category. Those are fine in the flash fiction category, but not something we want in micro-fiction.

Policy Update:

People can write multiple genuinely stand-alone stories that feature the same characters or occur in the same "story universe". But they shouldn't be linked, titled or tagged as a series.

This policy update will be enforced from now onwards.

It would be helpful if writers who have pieces already verified fitting the now "disallowed" criteria, go back and amend their stories so that they aren't seen as a precedent.

As we've stated before, this new category is a work in progress. Please bear with us as we endeavour to get it right.

Thank you for your understanding.
Some mods aren't high profile.

They simply go about their roles with quiet professionalism and diligence.

One such mod has been an absolute rock in our chat rooms for many many years, and takes care of a large percentage of all our helpdesk tickets (of which there are many).

He's always polite and approachable, and goes about his business calmly. I couldn't ask for more.

So please give it up for SimplyJohn!

I'll be in touch regarding your steak and chips supplies for the next month

P.S. Your voice sounds totally not what I expected! Check out his stories and poems if you haven't already.
Frank Lee should be in book stores the world over. He IS that good.

Congratulations on another well deserved EP for a brilliant piece of work
I changed it last night as a temporary measure, as a spammer was bot posting in the forums every 3-4 seconds. Hundreds of posts, which I gave up cleaning up after their account was already deleted.

If we'd seen it earlier, we could have blocked the IP and deleted the member. But that is not a permanent solution to the issue.

There's very little reason for people to post more than once a minute, so I thought it would be a good way to slow them down while Gav works on a fix.

The trouble with all this kind of tracking, is that you are constantly adding resource upon resource upon resource, which bogs down the servers and ultimately will end in a poor user experience.

When they have moved on and realise this site is going to give them nothing, I'll put it back to how it was.

I can now see why many sites these days don't even bother with forums. They are one of the most time consuming, if not the most time consuming part of the site from an admin point of view.

*snorts* it took 2 hours. she plied me with liquor and then handed me a dart. easy peasy.
