Of course, while women are spending their money on these, men are making do with the Invisible Girl
Can't see anyone going for the Ant-Man, though
A few of the most interesting people I've met here have next to nothing on their profiles. They're too busy being interesting to fill out their profiles.
Sadly these people don't tend to stick around
1. Yes
2. All the things she keeps saying no to
Excellent discussion, well done everyone.
I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine the other day regarding lesbians and the use of sex toys and I wondered if the opinions put forward were shared by the wider community.
She discovered she was lesbian in her early thirties after a string of unsuccessful heterosexual relationships. Her partner has only ever been in same sex relationships. While she uses a sex toy on herself, its banned from the bed when they are together - as her partner puts it "I don't want to share my bed with a man, not even a pretend one".
Are lesbians who use sex toys actually bisexual? Or at the least bi-curious? How do you feel about the use of toys in lesbian stories?
My initial thought would be that you could but I'm not sure it would count for much.
While there is a process on Lush, it's really just to make sure that things are within the guidelines and are readable. There's not really any quality control when it comes to the actual stories - that side of things is left to the broader audience to assess. That's a good thing - it allows anyone who wants to write, a platform to do so but of course it doesn't mean that they're any good.
Not sure if any of that helps
about midway through the 28th August
So well done Racking
Fuck and then Pass
it's how she'd want it
Maybe if someone tries to set up a username with the word "slut" in it, the following warning can pop up:
Are you prepared for the sort of comments you're going to get with a username like that?
She has big sexy boobies. He has a big willy. They make a sex. It is good. The End
Ok that's the porn in the story, the next step is to add the erotica.
"Reject" is such a harsh term, I prefer "managed avoidance"
You can do this from the log in screen - run your cursor over the little blue question mark. This involves holding down shift as you log in.
Of course, if you use the full site on a mobile device you may not have the option to hold down shift. I'm unaware of a work around for iOS.
tell her to straighten up slowly to avoid putting unnecessary strain on her hamstrings or lower back
I'm of the opinion that if someone is precious enough to insist on a comment, he or she certainly isn't going to like it when I explain exactly why I gave them a 3. Maybe it stops 2-bombing, but I'm sure these stories are missing out on a lot more 5s than 2s.
All that said, I rarely, if ever, vote.
It's also the framework for any romantic fiction.
The female character is in idealised virgin. No sordid past. She's deserves good things to happen to her. He on the other hand has everything going for him but of course he's missing that final piece.
Sexually, he's worldly, she's as pure as the driven snow.
Publishers will give author guidelines like this because they know readers buy this stuff over and over again. Another publisher might insist he's a vampire.
It's lazy but a successful formula.
The 23 bus route is the cheap alternative to the tourist bus in London - it goes past St Paul's, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus.
Is the story there when you go to the home page? Maybe the author noticed something wrong with it and took it down for editing.
I've noticed sometimes links can also break if the category of the story is changed
The notion of "the gentleman" is steeped in class structure and social elitism. Success and privilege allowed men to be gentlemen but they certainly didn't get that success by being gentlemen.
Poems like Kipling's "If" and Henley's "Invictus" give an indication of the measure of a man as does the book "Self Help" by Samuel Smiles - a text book for social climbing in the Victorian era. These brought the idea that if you act like a gentleman you could be one.
Acting like a gentleman is like any other form of courtship - it's a display mechanism - peacocking. Here I am, I'm educated, well-dressed, charming and successful - I will make a perfect mate. And women are suckers for it, every time. We don't have the benefit of wearing push-up bras and heels (most of us, any way) so we have to make do by giving you believable compliments and looking like we're interested in what you're saying.
A real gentleman will make you feel like it was your idea when he dumps you.
