if you're looking online, on Lush, for example, most people here are going to be looking for the sexual aspect. i imagine that, if you do a search, tho, there have to be like-minded people. might be a little harder to find, but i assume they are out there. you're not unique in this.

it's different for everyone. for some, it's very sexual. for others, not at all. most probably fall somewhere in the middle. for me, the sex is a huge part of it, but the emotional support needs to be there as well and there are times when we're together that it's not sexual at all. depends on what my needs are. there's a fit for everyone, it's just a matter of finding the right person.

Have you noticed a difference in the categories that they use in Jeopardy?

I find that there is far less fine arts topics like opera and Broadway since Ken Jennings took over.

Over all it seems that the questions are easier than usual. This might be because they seem to only be accepting contestants from California since the pandemic began.


Some of the final jeopardy questions have been really hard. The rest is kind of a mix. The first round does seem a little easier, but not annoyingly so. And Ken was rough at first but is settling in now. That said, it's impossible to really replace Alex.

I totally get the multiple reasons people are here. While I am here for both socializing (specially in these forced non-social times) and writing, I certainly understand other motivations. Know that I am not asking to force those who just want to write stories to socialize. That would not be fair nor appropriate. But from a readers perspective, it would be nice to have at least a more mature/professional presentation of the author. To be honest, there are times when I see a blank profile and I will not even start to read their story. It could be something as simple as an avatar and a statement about their writing. What is the focus (broad or focused). Just so we know something. It does not need to be personal information at all.

Hope this helps. I would never ask to force others to share information here that they are not comfortable with. That can be the beauty of the place. For the stories though, I think it would help to make it a more mature presentation.


people have different comfort levels. for some of us, writing and publishing an erotic story here isn't a big deal, but i am sure that, for some, it is, for whatever reason, and i certainly don't want to discourage anyone from doing so in a way that they are comfortable with if they want to do so in what they consider anonymity. all that we ask is that stories follow the TOS and are of a certain quality. i want to be as welcoming as possible to anyone and everyone that wants to submit their stories here. smile
