Me, I don't know nuttin' about the new Micro category, except I've been in favor of having one for some time now. If there were any announcements I've missed them completely. My befuddlement includes, but is not limited to:
1. Why launch it while a contest is still open, and
2. why 'require' a photo be included with a submission?

Rumple, the even more confused than usual

Nicola plans on making an announcement sometime today.

my wife just awarded you 5 points. not sure if they're worth anything or where you can turn them in, but yeah, you have 5 points right now.

Best not. Don’t want to end up in hospital, do I?

Can you do Double Unders yet? I just end up whipping myself with the rope, but you probably discovered that already

it's more fun when someone else whips me with the rope, but in these times, i'm ok with whipping myself smile

The quarantine 15 thing is actually a thing.

Anyone want to start a lush quarantine push up challenge?

i'd be in - have to be on the honor system, but yeah, set up the rules. oh, and like i told App, unless your fitness habits have changed drastically, no way anyone here's gonna beat you. lol

Lots of sex..lots and lots.

running 3 days a week, Jump Rope. Miss my swimming.

Where do we start? I could probably do 2, but love to be able to 20.

unless Damon's habits have changed, i'm thinking he's a ringer for the win - that said, if you can hit 20 without stopping my the end of June, i'll write you a story. smile

btw, yeah, been jumping rope too. have to do it in the back yard, tho, cause the kitten thinks it's a toy to chase. smile

I've never wished more that I had a home gym. I'm starting to go crazy.

Gyms are closed and honestly I think that most of them will go under due to the lockdown.

What are you doing to stay fit?

yeah, i did a gym daily - the big chains like 24 hour fitness will survive, but the smaller ones? gonna be hard, cause i am guessing they'll be down the list for re-opening.

i still get my morning 5 mile run in and we do a daily walk. on top of that, i have a heavy bag on the back porch and i switch off with yoga and tai chi daily. and does sex count, cause we're having lots of that - not much else to do in the evenings, really biggrin

wrote a comp piece. decided i hated it, tho it might be salvagable - decided to write a new Alice chapter instead, because i've been neglecting the story and it's much more fulfilling to write. should be up sometime today, or whenever someone gets around to modding it - it's short, but it needed to be short, and it leads up to the introduction of some very iconic wonderlandians, so... smile

little update on other things. life's been very up and down lately and i'm struggling, but i'm doing ok, all things considered - in other words, i'm doing about as well as any of us here, i'm guessing. smile so yeah... this is the new normal, at least for now

Sometimes kids are just not harmed I guess.

LOL, I initially read Eric Cartman ;)

I wasn't referring to music that was written for the movie, but to much older songs that were on that soundtrack too. There was no way of not knowing about that movie at that time btw. even if I'd tried. And there was no bullying involved. No kids were harmed during the making of those memories.

Right, when I was juggling a fairly demanding job and being the parent of a two-year-old.

so... he's 21 now, right? and the world is shut down and you're at home a lot...? smile

To be fair, I haven't seen them yet, either, and I am a fan of the books. They came out during a busy period in my life and I've just never circled back to see them.

And I'm boycotting The Hobbit trilogy because, damn it, the amount of padding needed to make a trilogy of that book is just going to ruin what is a really nice, fairly short, fantasy story.

they came out 19 years ago, you know...

as for the hobbit, about half of it was a really good movie, the other half was just dreadful. i wish they put out a version that you could edit to taste. silly

Later, I'd like do another session, as the dominant, with Sensi Pearl from the same site. I got a little obsessed with her videos for awhile.

yeah, me too. not the session as a Domme, but def. the obsession.

I can't give any reason for most movies that I haven't seen, but here are two exceptions:

Dirty Dancing
When the movie came out kids in school (I was about 13 or 14) started claiming the music I used to listen to was "from that movie". It felt like cultural appropriation I guess.

Kill Bill: Volume 2
I thought Volume 1 was a lousy trailer.

kill bill 2 is extremely different than kill bill 1

Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio. Saw the black and white version and wasn't going to sit there for hours. Besides, I knew how it ended in both movies: the boat sank.

there's a black and white version? it's a good movie, btw, if only for the line 'draw me like one of your french girls'. smile
