I am confused by what you mean. Scroll up, it's there. And Avidly Curious addressed it.

Something I want to share with people is that I used to think story parts needed to be published right away for readers to continue enjoying a series. However, as I've grown wiser (hopefully), I've come to understand a few things:

1. If people are really interested in your story, they will read the next part whenever it is published.

2. Publishing parts too close together can actually be detrimental, as it doesn't give your readers time to catch up. You are likely not the only author they follow, and if you bombard them with too many stories back-to-back, they may become overwhelmed.

3. If people really like to binge stories, they will wait until a few "episodes" are published and read them in one sitting.

It's hard to be patient when you want your story to be published. However, it won't deter members from reading your story once it becomes available. I promise!

Our neighbor with Alzheimer's has been in a memory care facility for almost 2 weeks now. It's been a rough adjustment for everyone, but I'm hopeful that things will smooth out soon. It's a nice place, but as Dorothy once said, “There’s no place like home.” Still, we all know that home is no longer a viable option for him. We are doing our best to support his wife the best we can. She’s like a sister to us (she calls Kevin her brother from another mother) and we know she needs some extra tlc. We took her out for pizza last night. I got my gluten-free pepperoni and the two of them ordered a large “garbage” pizza. Lol. Way too many toppings for my simple tastes.

I'm off to the gym, then a swim with her when I come home. Then I hope to work on some stories this afternoon. Although I need to check on some wedding stuff. My girl gets married in 16 days. (and this MOB would like to lose 3 more pounds lol)

There have been several, Milik. Larry (Green_Man here and Survivor on SS) still hits me hard. He was so prolific and supportive on both sites. I thought of KiteAres the other day, too. I think we are all of similar age and it’s hard as it seems friends start passing.

All of these people were truly amazing. I miss KiteAres very much! He was so encouraging when I was doing chemo treatments. Sometimes I read a story and see his comment and feel a tug at my heart.

You know, what burned me out on trying for it was writing a watersports story. There were others I wrote that I didn't like and would not have otherwise posted, but that one really disgusted me.

After I wrote that, I decided that the pursuit wasn't worth abusing my respect for the craft. I still detest that story but never deleted it. Writing that one, and a few others I found completely unworthy of praise bothered me enough that it took me years to put it behind me.

But they are there now and what is left may be somewhat a case of writing something for reasons other than creativity, but they won't offend my sense of decency to create.

And I write without it bothering me so I'm not particularly moral, but the pissing was a step to far for me.

I took a different turn on the Watersports category when I was working towards Omnium: Jacuzzi Love. I felt like it was cheating but I looked it up and it counts as watersports so yay me! Lol.

Now that I've released Margaret The MILF, I've been working on a story of a woman who wishes she could have a do-over at life. It's still in the rough stages, but it's starting to turn into a story. I hope to be able to finish it next week.
