I am back from Crete and have spent the morning catching up on yard work. I guess that's the correct American term. When we left 3 weeks ago, we had little to no rain for several months; the grass was yellow and all but dead. Now on our return, and having missed a lot of rain, it is 6 inches long in places and as green as... erh... grass. π³ I have also cleared 50 bucket loads of apples from one of our apple trees. I say cleared; I piled them up at the end of our back garden. π
Kat, really, a garbage burger? What can I say? "Only in America," but that is why I love visiting your country. BTW: I didn't realise you were gluten intolerant. So is my wife, so I know what it can be like.
Ape, have a great holiday... Yesterday on the flight home, we didn't see a cloud until we got to the Alps, and the temperature in Crete was still in the mid-to high twenties. π
And Kimmi, we all love you here.π I take over from Bear with the hugs, but you need to look out for me as I'm still finding my way around Rumpies.
A large mug of Yorkshire tea for me, please, and as they seem to be popular, a chocolate Γ©clair. Thank you. π
