Thanks John. funlovin69 mentioned he has the same issue with EmmaMoon and Katiewriter

The notifications work. However, my Reading Queue is missing stories. It's affecting at least 2 followed authors.
WannabeWordsmith and techgoddess' stories don't show including the last 5 days. Their profiles reflected that I still follow them. Deviantsusie's 5-day old story Watch Me shows as the most Recently Added. No problem with Susie's.
I refreshed the page, switched filters, switched pages, relaunched the browser, unfollowed-followed them and followed a few more of authors. I backtracked my Reading Queue. None of their unread stories is in the queue. The unread stories still has the Remove from Queue button if I open those from their profile.
No idea if anyone else has the same issue.
Happy weekend 🌻
The screenshot you posted was Jen's post on 26 Jan 2023.
New members signing up will receive coins as part of their membership fee, and existing users can buy coins to distribute if they want to.
For every paid subscription, there was a certain amount of bonus coins. Example: 20 bonus coins for 1 month Gold or 100 bonus coins for lifetime Platinum.
Subsequently, on 8 Aug 2025, simplyjohn posted an update (page 7) in this thread:
"Coins are no longer given with a subscription purchase."
As an option, in the Upgrade page, instead of paying using your card/PayPal, you can use your account available Lush coins to buy a subscription. Make sure you have enough coins in your account to meet the minimum required cost in coins. Otherwise, you can purchase coins in addition to any existing coins you have in your account, if any, to fulfill the difference of the total coins needed.
Example: 937 coins for 1 year Gold or 1875 coins for a lifetime Platinum subscription purchase.
Note: The 937 or 1875 coins are not included as bonus coins in the subscription purchase package but the equivalent purchasing amount in coins required from you to make the specific subscription purchase.
📌 Thus, as of the Aug 8 posting by simplyyjohn, Bonus Coins are no longer included in the upgrade subscription purchase packages.
Account available coins are still valid to tip authors, purchase, or gift a subscription. You may buy additional coins from rhe different amount offerings.
You can click on your avatar to check your coins details (or) via https://www.lushstories.com/coins/
* ⭐ Perhaps the admins/mods can edit the OP to include the recent lush coins amendment for ease of access and convenience. 😉

Everything has a reason behind it. Everything, no matter how small. As I told Nisha over PM, this genre is made for internal conflict. The way most of us came up causes some hang up with sex or another.
Look at your TV shows, movies and novels. Before the action goes down, there is a reason for it. The conflict is internal or external. Can be both. What are obstacles that can possibly get in the way and what are the ways around them? I am trying to get better at these things myself as i find the topic of story so fascinating. Good writing can make almost anything enjoyable to consume.
Whiplash was about a fucking drummer trying to make it. You give a fuck about drumming? Probably not. You gave a fuck about dude's passion and the obstacle in his way - JK Simmons' character.
Internal conflict! That's the phrase at the tip of my tongue.hahaha Thanks for helping this slow brain and sharing your thoughts. 😊
I have always been a straight ally. Upon careful introspection of my sexuality, apparently, I am a demisexual as explained by my therapist.
In line with this year's WorldPride theme, The Fabric of Freedom, Singapore's Pink Dot (a nonprofit org consisting of allies and members of the LGBTQIA+ community) and Pink Fest (a public family event) theme, All Together Now. All June. Let's Celebrate Together and the flag colours of demisexuality, here's mine. 🌻
Sorry it took me longer than planned. I appreciate your patience and assistance. A tin of biscuits is on your way.
Update:
All 10 test .jpg files I uploaded around 1pm UK time from the missing batch days ago were successfully uploaded. I'll upload a chunk of smut later. 🤞🏻🥳
About the Lushmail DFM, I'm not sure if it's a network problem. I tried on both stable and fast mobile data and WiFi connection. The 1st attempt was done on mobile data immediately after the successful batch around 1pm UK time then around 3pm on WiFi. Both resulted to a DFM. Attaching an image from the album wasn't an issue though.
I was typing a reply much earlier but was lost when I switched to a different app so I waited a tad bit longer to give it (uploaded images) more time before I tell you that none but only the video showed up. I'm patient enough. It's only a little frustrating when I have time and in the mood to upload but the files don't appear. Also, I have at least 1500+ image space left so I have enough wiggle space to upload.
A few hours ago, I uploaded different images in the KOFIMIDA album:
six 115-340 Kb .jpg files
6-sec 6.74 MB .mp4 video
22.63 MB .gif
I also sent different small .jpg and .gif to two different friends via Lushmail upload. The Down for Maintenance screen of death showed in about 5 seconds.
Highlights:
the video was uploaded in the album right away
the GIF that I uploaded around 4:30 am-ish** appeared around early 6 am-ish
the GIF that I uploaded at 5:05am appeared after the 6:27am GIF upload
the GIF that I uploaded at 6:27am appeared several minutes later
(I added the current time during my upload in the description for tracking)
Lowlights:
An observation from past uploads months ago, when GIFs don't appear post upload within the hour, they either show up in doubles or triples even if the those were uploaded only once. Otherwise, they don't appear at all.
the missing .jpg and .gif images from yesterday and days ago are still missing
as of today, uploaded .jpg files still don't appear even if the files upload to 100% significantly fast.
The Down for Maintenance message still shows up in Lushmail for attachment uploads. I swear those aren't unsolicited nudes 😂

I found a scone, with butter and jam but no cream, a croissant and a large slice of chocolate cake, which sorry I ate so it is now gone. I will ask the development team to check that all appears well with the media processing queues. The Down for Maintenance page (admittedly a somewhat misleading name) is indicative of a timeout
Thanks I tried uploading again in the Public album. The pics don't show.
I still got another Down for Maintenance while uploading it via Lushmail. Network connection was good, jpg files under 350kb.

Just so you know, the first three suggestions have been asked a number of times by myself and others since V2 opened for business. I am a platinum member and am nearing the 10,000 limit. The thought of purging old images one at a time for space is quite depressing. I would probably just buy a new identity instead.
Thanks for the insight. I agree that the individual purging can be depressing, time consuming and even frustrating at times. That long wait kind of sucks though. I have ADHD and my well-sorted and mishmash albums need it. Let's hope there'll be a quicker green light this time around.
Days ago, I uploaded GIFs along with still photos but the GIFs never showed up. I noticed from previous uploads that that GIFs may take minutes to several hours to upload so I slept on it. Yesterday, I test uploaded 3 GIFs from that batch and the 3 were added right away.
Also yesterday, I've been uploading 2 photos of spicy pork floss buns. 319kb and 325kb jpg files. I uploaded them in a private custom album, default Public album and the Misc just 2 check if it will appear in any. They never showed up.
Whenever I upload from Lushmail (to send to a friend), I get the Down for Maintenance error message. I think it's not only me who experienced that.
However, the 4 photos of tanghulu I uploaded for test upload (also yesterday) were immediately added.
I checked and tried uploading the buns again today. They're still missing. Please help me find the missing spicy pork floss buns before they go stale.🤭
Kidding aside, is there an ongoing (intermittent) issue as regards the upload of still and motion images? (GIF, jpg, jpeg, webp)
Hi. Being a Platinum subscription member has its awesome perks such as having as much as 10, 000 images media allocation. With this obscene amount of smut (or fish photos!), may I suggest to the hardworking Dev't Team to add the following features for Media management that will allow the user to:
• select and move or delete multiple images between our albums instead of moving/deleting the images 1 by 1 when we need to sort them out. Maybe a max of 10 per batch won't hurt. More would be better. 🙏🏻
• have a Settings option to either infinite scrolling or pagination. Currently, it's set in pagination when we view from our albums. When viewing another member's album, it's in infinite scrolling.
• have an option to allow Friends only access to certain albums instead of individually inviting whoever is in the list.
• have an option from the Media centre to select multiple friends but not all to have access to an album/s.
These hopefully to be added features may be made available exclusively to Platinum members as lifetime member perks or as the management decides. There are more that I can think of but these are what I ascertained as more significant.
P.S. I know it may seem selfish for Platinun members. Each subscription tier has its perks. And maybe, more will subscribe to a Platinum.

I thought if a member deleted their account everything just went away. They don't show up in the Friends list. Any messages you have from them disappear. And any stories they've posted also go away. But I might be wrong about that.
They won't appear in the Friends list but as I checked the Lushmail messages, if any were saved (starring the replies) , those remain but their name is replaced as Unknown User.
Quote by expressomarkie
are you using "dark mode?"
Yes because it conserves battery! You're a genius! I switched to Light mode and it showed what I was missing. Odd though. I used to see the action change from grey to red (or pink because it's showing lighter😂) even in Dark mode like the Favourite button.
Quote by welshman
Your like to me is not red? not sure if it is supposed to be red?
Interesting. I think you'll see my Like as grey because the action was from my end. When I liked your reply, it reflected as 1 like yet still grey. As it appears, it happens the same here in the forum as well as in the Group posts and comments as how it did in the Stories.
I hope they update it to an active state (red) so that we'll be aware that the action has been carried out from default to active.
Hi is the ❤️ heart (like) button broken?
I liked and added as a favourite a few stories (2 Micros, 1 Masturbation) but it won't change the Like colour as it used to be from grey (default) to red (active). It remained grey while the star ⭐ (favourite) turned to red immediately.
Upon refresh, the 🔥count matched the like and favourite but the Like (❤️) button remained grey which is its the default state. It might prompt the reader to tap/click again thinking it hasn't been counted like I did thus causing confusion. Doing it again (2nd tap) deducts the 1 🔥 for the like unless the reader does it again(3rd tap).
Happy Thursday 🌻
Here are my unsolicited recommendations. Some may have been covered above. No idea if anything is feasible but I hope it helps keep the Lush community with a balance of spice, naughty and nice. I'll leave the schedule of penalties to the admins.
1 Update the T&C's/AUPs/Chat Rules to specifically state cyberflashing as an offence and other timely amendments, if any. I don't have the data but it seems only a few read the fine print. Later on, they'll use the lame excuse that they are unaware, despite agreeing to the terms and later using the service.
2. Include nonconsensual sexual messages, not only unsolicited intimate images (still/GiF) or ambush album invites in the site's cyberflashing guidelines.
3. Is it possible to integrate an agreement popup showing the applicable terms like how Privacy Consent popups do? It will only ask users once. If the user doesn't manually select to agree with the required line items, he can't use the service like sending messages, uploading/sending media, entering the Chatrooms, etc. whichever is applicable.
4. Integrate the open source "Pivate Detector" like how Bumble does, or develop something similar. This will blur potentially explicit images. The user will have the option to open, ignore, or report it.
5. Does the block to a user apply to the username only or the full account regardless of the number of name changes? If it's the former, it'll be nice to apply the block to the full account.
6. Have a forum-based read-only pinned post of the perpetrators similar to the sex offender's list based on reports. If the report is valid (not a trap), the admin/mods will add the offender's name to the list. Users will have the opportunity to avoid them with optional early blocking before the offenders can grab the chance to sneak unsolicited messages/album invites to unsuspecting members. Also, users will have a more conscious effort to carefully send stuff. Who wants to be on the cyberflashers list anyways?
Alternatively, add an optional line item in the Privacy settings to automatically allow a user to block/filter any listed perpetrators.
7. Encourage actual victims to report, and/or speak up for Lush public awareness. It's not about snitching. It's keeping the site safe and fun.
9. Support victims. No victim-blaming but also no playing as the victim if you asked for it.
10. This is from the The Cyber Helpline. If you or someone you know has experienced cyberflashing or any form of online harassment, seek free, confidential support here.

Sorry I thought I posted this after the Gal's one. I understand this is the Guy's section, but I'll give my 2 cents as promised yesterday, as a female who has unwillingly experienced receiving unsolicited prick pics.
Whether it's through the Chat PM, Lush email, or album invite (showcasing "their" unprepossessing genitalia), in my perspective, unbidden venereal things can be appalling. Be it the prick pics, nasty GIFs/pics, or lascivious messages, it's disrespectful. No one in their right mind texts random people with their noodle and ask things such as "Do I like it? How do I rate it? Would I like to suck and ride it? Would I like him to do (that) to me?" NOPE.
The only attention it ever received was a disturbing moment of total disgust before it was deleted. I tell the perp that it's offensive and he has unacceptable behaviour followed by reporting and blocking.
They're nonchalant with assertions especially when no one else sees it. If they push their small dick energy, I address them in the open room, especially when I can't reply in PM because I ran out of juice. But even when I can reply to the PM, the open room is a more effective venue. I learned from experience that they'll repeat it unless they're called out in public. Some perps stop probably because of embarrassment that other women and men will know about their sick tricks. Their rubbish line saying I caused that (boner) is hysterical. Those images have been sent to other women with the same line, as confirmed by a bunch.
A few resorted to aggression, calling me rude and cruel words for not getting their desired response, as if they were to be revered for letting me see their unsought fugly penis. They should be ashamed of their repugnant transgression. I give credit where it is due.
Oh, and it's not only men. Some "women" also similarly send unsolicited sexual stuff. If anything, that's cringey.
It's unfathomable why some people do it. A few articles mentioned cyberflashers do it for either power play, pleasure, or praise. They crave control and feel empowered that they can do it without serious repercussion especially to the victims who appear vulnerable and helpless. They like knowing that certain people saw their picture or act and take pleasure from it, even if it offends the involuntary party. Furthermore, they enjoy the slim chances of praise (or in some instances, humiliation for some submissives) when someone likes what they sent. Unfortunately, in this digital age, places that have passed cyberflashing into law are limited and quite poorly implemented.
Being an exhibitionist is not an excuse to cyberflash anyone. Worse, some even send another guy's stolen dong photo. Smarmy, unctuous comments (if given) in one's allusion for credit are false praise, making them pitiful, horrible and flowing with small dick energy.
I appreciate that there are people proactively standing up, who do not condone this malicious act.
Update:
I found the "bug" and discovered a workaround. It's a display layout/screen size issue. Albeit not the most convenient, it works if only to display the cogwheel. For mobile phone users, you have to rotate the screen to a landscape view 😂
For devices with larger screen displays such as tablets or iPads this may not be a problem.
I'll stick to my smutphone for now.

So when you create a room you can setup a 'welcome' message via the black cog in the bottom right hand corner (change subject). The key was a V1 thing; here it's a shield for the room moderator. Via the same button you can close a room as the room moderator. There is no feature, as we had on V1, to add additional room moderators. No they don't collapse until the last member leaves. Hopefully that addresses all of your questions. Be careful of the room name... not sure 'House' would be acceptable. 😎
Thanks John. That makes sense because I based it from a off-Lush Chatroom walkthrough conversation I had with a former Lush member. He said "if my memory serves me right" 😂 He deleted his account sometime in late 2023-early 2024 so it could be the old version that he was talking about. I don't know when the new version went live so I'll trust u to it.
Although hazy, I remember that a Chat Mod passed the room moderation to me 1 time because he had to leave the B&W room. To keep it open he has to assign it to a subscribed member. I had the Gold at the time so it was around summer-fall 2023.
I created another password-enabled Test chatroom earlier. I still don't see the rest of the options to put a welcome message. These are what my mobile screen shows.
Questions/observations:
Are the room descriptors removed or was that a bug? From what I remember last year there used to be a room description text box where the room creator can fill it in with the room description like what the room is for and specific room rules that don't necessarily clash with the site rules. I planned to create an open room today, made a brief description and guidelines but there was nowhere to put it in.
Are the room keys gone as well? How does a creator pass the moderation key to another member now? How does a creator/key holder close a created room? I didn't see the room admin settings where the room destruction tick box and other settings used to be. I don't think it automatically closes when the creator leaves because I saw rooms without the creator(in badge) or any room key holder (who has to be a subscribed member).
I believe the presence of a room key holder (who takes room responsibility in the absence of the creator) will keep the room in order and the room description box was essential especially for "theme" rooms. To put it into context, this was what it was going to be like. A rmore intimate room that's in between Softcore and Eye Candy vibes in colour (and not).
tentative Room name: Salacious Sorority House
Description: Keep all images sensual, fun and classy. No RP, underage-looking models, or dungeon acts. Site rules apply. Leave if you won't abide. 🌻

It may help if you share biscuits and perhaps other tasty nibbles with the chat moderators. I do know one chat moderator loves Yim Yams. 😇
I can bake tea biscuits and mango bars or dried mangoes dipped in chocolate. Mangoes are in season. Are the Yim Yams from the Land Down Yonder? 🤭

Perhaps a thread I created a couple of days ago has prompted your question.

The matter was discussed within the chat moderation team and we decided we
I'm not so sure if it is although these are related. Thanks for sharing the other thread and the update. I'm chuffed that these are discussed. In my opinion the decision sounds fair between the admin/mods and members. Also the voyeur in me is tickled hahaha

@bluestocking - Better to ask a moderator
Unfortunately there was no moderator at the time. The hypothetical enquiry was to promote a healthy and fun banter in a seemingly dead room. My bad I forgot there is a site forum. I also thought since it is about chats the Lounge was the best venue for that question as the subjects are there. It may have been fun or at least insightful had it not been for someone who acted so antagonized by me. I don't know how often and how many chatters come here. In line with that it would be nice if the mods will share these updates in the chatrooms for proper information dissemination. Anyways thanks for the assist. Much appreciated 🌻
