It may help if you share biscuits and perhaps other tasty nibbles with the chat moderators. I do know one chat moderator loves Yim Yams. 😇
I can bake tea biscuits and mango bars or dried mangoes dipped in chocolate. Mangoes are in season. Are the Yim Yams from the Land Down Yonder? 🤭

Perhaps a thread I created a couple of days ago has prompted your question.

The matter was discussed within the chat moderation team and we decided we
I'm not so sure if it is although these are related. Thanks for sharing the other thread and the update. I'm chuffed that these are discussed. In my opinion the decision sounds fair between the admin/mods and members. Also the voyeur in me is tickled hahaha

@bluestocking - Better to ask a moderator
Unfortunately there was no moderator at the time. The hypothetical enquiry was to promote a healthy and fun banter in a seemingly dead room. My bad I forgot there is a site forum. I also thought since it is about chats the Lounge was the best venue for that question as the subjects are there. It may have been fun or at least insightful had it not been for someone who acted so antagonized by me. I don't know how often and how many chatters come here. In line with that it would be nice if the mods will share these updates in the chatrooms for proper information dissemination. Anyways thanks for the assist. Much appreciated 🌻
How about rooms named private, invite only, do not enter, private-please respect, just us, etc but are obviously not private because they're not password-enabled? These rooms that I was told thereafter were created purposely unlocked to allow unsubscribed members who can neither join locked rooms if password-enabled nor create their private rooms.
About a couple of weeks ago, I asked a related hypothetical question in the Lounge after noticing several unlocked rooms labeled as "private".
"What happens when someone joins the unlocked room CHUCK - Private Only?"
I was told by a member that I should not (enter that room). That I shouldn't bitch about when I get kicked out. For the record I wasn't complaining and haven't attempted joining those rooms. With respect to the existing AUPs, T&Cs and Chat rules applicable to the scenario that I mentioned to them (Lounge), the same member repetitively called me a Karen and a whiner. 🙃
Are these rooms allowed and to be treated as private despite being not locked? I think it defeats the purpose of privacy and clearly circumvents the rules.
I have no idea if this has been reported and what impact it does if any. A random "https" gets autoinserted in some replies in the chatroom. I've seen it from others and today it showed in mine. I've only observed these in the Lounge.
I didn't try to attach a link or anything. The reply was "I'm great.thanks."
From my previous observations, it used to create a hyperlink on alphanumeric characters that has a dot in between where there should be a space.
Eg. great.thanks switches to a null hyperlink. Recently it inserts https before the underlined text.

Sorry this is tooooo long.
I agree with @deviantsusie. I have raised this enquiry last year with Tight1piece. About how the online status and last online stamps work. I was told it was inconclusive that the last online time may be the start time when they login or begins when they go offline.
My settings:
- "Always show me as offline" is selected
-"Remember Me" is enabled, site is fireproofed so I don't need 2 reauthenticate each time
-I switch VPNs (Proton and Nord) mostly using Proton with smut
-Android OS, Duckduckgo browser
-new tab is opened via bookmarks, tab is closed every after session
It shows "2 hrs ago" whenever I'm online which I understand is the stealth feature of the Platinum. It adds a chat bubble icon when I'm in the Chatroom whether you're in a PM, an actual private/public room, or even simply floating in the Chatroom but not in any room or PM.
Once offline it shows a progressive last online stamp that shows from minutes (if it was under an hour) until it reaches an hour to hours until it reaches a day then in days until it reaches a week to weeks until it teaches a month then months until it reaches 90 days.
I don't remember the last time I saw the login page but my current last online timestamp was reset days ago. I have been switching IPs (Proton VPN) but it's been counting days.
Regardless of the subscription type whether free or any of the premiums including Platinum, the last online/session time (after the user goes offline) varies.
Observed Scenario 1:
User A goes online for 5 mins. When she goes offline it shows she was last online "5 mins ago." She goes offline for 40 mins then back online at 1:45 for 15 mins. When she goes offline again, it shows she was last online "1 hrs ago" which originated from the 1:00 login as if she wasn't back online 15 mins ago.
-iPhone then Windows OS laptop used, no VPN, Chrome browser
Observed Scenario 2:
User B goes online for 5 mins. When she goes offline it shows she was last online "5 mins ago." She goes offline for 40 mins then back online at 1:45 for 15 mins. When she goes offline again, it shows she was last online "15 mins ago" which originated from the 1:45 login.
-Android phone, same IP on VPN, fireproofed site on Duckduckgo
Observed Scenario 3:
User C was last online "20 hours ago". She goes online for 2 hours. Once offline it shows she was last online "22 hours ago". She goes online the next day for a few hours. Once offline it shows she was last online "1 day ago". She goes online daily thereafter and it shows last online "2 days ago", "3 days ago", "4 days ago" and so on as if she wasn't online daily for several minutes to a few hours.
-daily IP switches via VPN, fireproofed site on Duckduckgo, tab used and browser are closed every after session, no reauthentication done, new session via favourited bookmark
Observed Scenario 4:
User D goes to the Chatroom daily but her last online shows it has been a month ago.
-unsubscribed member, no VPN used
P.S. You can message me if u need more info or test runs.
A blocked member can still interact (@mention) with me in the beta version despite having been included in the Block list in my Privacy Settings. It looks like the block was disabled for some reason because it gave me the option to block. I've blocked the bloke again from the Chatroom. His name is still in my block list.
Edit: I recall it's a couple of them. Another blocked bloke from weeks ago PMed me whom I reported. The recent one aforementioned was days ago. Both were in my Block list.
