waters, sediment, the fresh earth,
particles we chart bare understandings of,
past all the tissue memory and inner rivers,
the bloodstreams mapping what drives us...

I dreamed of you for years,
given only enough clairvoyance
to glean vague outer shapes,
depths you are fluidly crafted from.
