We share a bed. We no longer share our bodies but I never give up hope.
In our younger years, we couldn't keep our hands off each other. Filled with love, lust and dreams of changing the world. We were never going to be suburban conformists.
Then children and mortgages, and life kicked in. Without noticing, we became like every other couple of our generation. Oh, we are happy together. Love remains but lust has gone. She turns away at night.
Today, our youngest left for University. I turn to her again. Will she respond to my touch this time?
