For me the twerk, or whatever you define it as, was a cheap thrill. We all like 'em once in a while. My immediate issues were two-fold. One, the song used was a poor, cheap rendition of a great Marvin Gaye song, used by a less talented artist. Two, she is a decent artist that could change her draw more clearly than objectifying herself.

Personally, she's more beautiful here than hanging from a phallic symbol, or twerking.

I am not a fan of hers at all and think she is a spoiled brat. she has had dad to grease the skids along the way. If I had young kids following her I wouldn't let them follow her anymore. I am not just picking on her Bieber is the same way let it all go to his head getting in trouble now with things he does.

Thanks for the video, she did a great job with that. Twerking has been around for awhile but never showcased as it was on the VMA's. I have to admit, she didn't look too good doing it but so what. The furor that followed was a joke.

Just an opinion about those who think daddy 'greased' the way for her. A friend or relative can 'grease' an entertainers path by attracting 'producer' friends to take a listen. But if the product isn't good...it don't matter. Many, many, many sibling have tried to follow in their parents footsteps. Many, many, many have failed. You gotta have talent. It can't be faked. It has to be genuine and GOOD....no....GREAT...or they are only going to get 5 of the 15 minutes they're looking for.

It's amazing that Miley and Madonna have been called "not very talented". Based on what? Their bank accounts or the millions of people they have entertained?

Haha to be honest it disappointed me at first because I loved Hannah Montana! Oh well, now I don't really care. Personally, I still think she has a great voice, just that her music videos and performances suck shit. She's not that great at twerking and shouldn't be "showing off" what she doesn't have. Few years ago, I had to take my daughter to see the Hannah Montana movie.

Never have I ever deliberatley thought about Miley again. It changes you I swear, once uve seen her do "The ho down show down" there is just no going back people I promise you, I am still in recovery and shock from seeing it dontknow
