I would just like to add my two-cent worth in on this thread. I don't know that I have a favorite author because all are great in what they do for other to enjoy...
Saying that I feel that anyone who touches that magic button ‘SEND’ then bites their tongue waiting for their work to make the grade, that of being accepted for publication is part of this special group. Whether in the running for this high honor or not is also one of the few as well as the many!
I’ve read some three to four hundred stories on here in my short time on here and I’ve not been disappointed by any, written by many, many different authors many of whom have not been mentioned on here as of yet!
Wow, even being mentioned as so many are in this thread is a great honor for those listed with so many great and wonderful stories written by these authors.
It’s an honor in itself alone to have something they or you’ve poured your heart and soul into just to think someone had the courage to pursue it to publication for all to read and enjoy.

Browncoffee is currently the best writer on Lush. Hannah has the gift we all aspire to.

Well, yes, you are right, but don't TELL her! She's so crabby and unapproachable already (joke)!
And as I've said before, Puddleduck has some serious game. They both have gifts to aspire to (and learn from).

Unfortunately, puddleduck seems to have deactivated her account. If you have the URL to her stories (as for her comp wins), you can get to them. But her profile returns the "sad couple" page, so you can't read anything you don't have favorited or bookmarked.
At least she hasn't deleted her profile. I hope she'll be back.

I totally agree, as soon as I saw she had entered I thought, well there goes any chance I may have had. I mean that in a nice way too. She is remarkable and once I read her entry I knew it would be the winner or at the very least in the top three.
I love your work too Verbal.
Others I admire at the moment (It does constantly change with new authors coming in and others not writing for awhile) and I am sure I will leave some out.

I'm my own favorite. I would read my own story right now over anyone else's because it's so fucking good. Just my last three stories though... Those are the good ones. My early stories are shit.

When I want a literary hand-job (sorry guys), I read puddleduck, browncoffee, oceanrunner, virgogo, sprite, ravenstar, jen, buz and other people I'm forgetting to list.
When I need a literary sexual mind game, I read avrgblkgrl or Liz.

It's like the difference between masturbating and getting a hand-job. Sometimes you want to know what you're going to get and sometimes you want someone else to do the work. What are your last three titles, in case I want you to do the work? ;)
