I have a story for StoriesSpace sort of going. For here, though, I just keep flailing from idea to idea without ever getting anywhere.

I have not been active on Lush for a while but have numerous projects on the go at the moment.

Currently have four parts of my long running series written but in need of editing with another two parts outlined. This series is easy as so much of it is autobiographical and has become more so as the series has developed.

Have a half written chapter to my Hotel series which got off to a great start but has faltered as have six other stories all of which I return to every now and again write maybe one or two hundred words and then abandon for a few months. The longest running of these is from an idea I had about twenty years ago but for various reasons I have never finished. Currently sits at about twenty thousand words and is the one I think about the most but hardly every write anything for.

Hmmm. What should I focus on? I have about three or four more ideas for stories in my Delivery Chronicles series. But I also have collabs with Jen, tams_back_yay, MollyDoll and CuriousAnnie to pay attention to. Plus a host of half finished stories:

One set in a changing room.

One sci-fi one about an inter-dimensional portal.

Part 4 of my Tabby: Cheating Colleague series.

One about a lecturer and student.

A cheating story about panties.

A BDSM piece that focuses on nipple clamps.

Decisions decisions... anyone got any preferences?

Chapters 1 and 2 are written. Chapter 3 needs a little more work. I'll make it my next priority because it's been too long coming.

I haven't written much this year, a few competition entries but that's about it. The start of this year is going to be difficult. It may provide some ideas but I'm very much a write it immediately kind of guy. When that spark happens, I mull it over, spin it around a few times, work out the twist and where its going to go, sit on it a while, rethink it. All of this in my head over, perhaps, a 3 day period. Then when I'm sure about it, write it in a few hours, basically I keep going until I finish it or I'm interrupted. As you can imagine from that, I don't tend to create in depth stories, but I want to change that this year, I do want to create something that takes longer to put together or requires research.......we shall see.

My upcoming stories will be stepping stones to the omnium badge. First, I'm going to conclude my current series about a young couple whose lives are turned upside down by an emergency, then onto some tales set in Ancient Egypt.

Oh, I am writing a story where an English teacher receives a completed assignment, and it is a very passionate erotic story that pushes all her buttons. It might be a terrible mistake and go for blackmailing him into a very compromising situation, or she might act it out for him, or encourage him to write another as a seduction. I do not know.

I have the twist, I just need to consider if this is a multi-part story, and what genre(s) to make this. It could be very, very spicy, or something softer. 😉 We shall see. 😜

Oh, the BDSM piece with the nipple clamps got my attention. Is it just me and my damn flat nipples but I can't get anything to stay on? I've tried everything. Going full on piercing this summer. Let me know if you want to compare notes on that one xxx

And I swear my son’s ADHD has rubbed off on me. I used to be able to write a story in one sitting. Now, I have about ten started and nowhere near finished. I can’t stay focused on one once started before I venture off onto another idea. Gonna try to get a shorter one (under 2K probably) finished this weekend though.

Some pretty horrible news from real life has rather killed the mood for writing erotica this month, to be honest. So I'm just lurking as a reader for a while. Hopefully the mood and the muse will return soon. In the meantime, I've been enjoying the return of thepenismightier and WW as always!

Thank you, Kimmi. I've used writing as an escape myself in my time, and still do, but writing about happy young people having sex just feels wrong at the moment. I guess it'll pass with time.

Sounds like you have my "too much ideas" syndrome. All I can tell you is make note in your phone of each you have started and next to each one note what is in "drafting" or "editing" status. Choose one for the latter and go from there.

I should take some of my advice and continue editing a draft I completed in late November. It was going to be my comp piece, then I realised I had something written that already utilized the comp's theme so I left it alone.

I started another draft but wasn't feeling it, so I stopped. Have to go over what I wrote so far and figure out what direction I want to go with it.

Same here, and I'm sorry you've had to go through whatever it's been. I think I'm starting to get the writing urge back though...

Currently editing a series I drafted in late October to early November. I usually take a while with one story as it is, so multiple chapters... sheesh. I predict it should all be ready in April(at least before May).

I have two completed erotic poems that I just have to create covers for them. As for when I will publish another full story? Very well may be when I finish editing the series, which means I may not publish a full story in March. Taking time from editing my series to edit a one-off, I am unsure of the likeliness. That said, I still have three completed single story drafts that need molding.

A story about a musician running away from her popular public persona and finding both herself and true love. Or something like that. Not sure if it will be for here or SS. Might just work better "clean".

Ah, a story of rediscovery. Sounds like it could work on either site. Maybe a clean and NSFW version like some musical artists did back in the day.
