Trying to focus on my chapter fixing, but I'm distracted by the idea of playing games instead. I think my brain just wants to be lazy.
Just submitted my re-write of Project Eros, my futa transformation story.
This is my second attempt at a re-write. I ended up reducing a 9000+ word story down to an outline. A week later, coming in at just under 7000 words, I have what almost feels like a brand new story. Well, new-ish. Same plot, tighter writing, a few changes to some key scenes, a few new scenes, and a better ending.
Due to the length, I anticipate this one hanging in the queue for a few days.
I know that sci-fi is not everyone’s cup of tea, but this story dear to me. It is something I first started writing almost three years ago, shortly after I wrote the first draft of my Open Secrets series, long before I discovered Lush. What prompted me to write a futa transformation story? I have no idea. This story is unlike anything else I have written. But to finally have a version that that I am excited to share, it just feels good.
Next up, my Ambien adventure. And hopefully by the time I wrap that up, I will have an idea or two worthy of the latest comp.

We just submitted our third story.
Waiting a week now. My wife wrote it but unsure if she submitted it for review or just for editing. Should a submitted story say "pending review" on your page
If it's been submitted, the story will be on your main page and not in your drafts, and it will have currently being reviewed in a box underneath it.

Juggling a few ideas, and we'll see if any of them pans out. I have an idea for the current competition which will very likely exceed the word limit, but seems worth writing anyway. The one I'm working on at the moment, which isn't for the comp, is a student-teacher staying late after school plot. A third might be an 'alone with my daughter's friend at the cabin' sort of story, which I've also made a start of. And if I get around to it, I might swing back around to an actual submission for the competition, assuming I can't make my original idea work. There's a pretty strong chance it won't. Or maybe nothing will come from any of it, and I'll fall back into the un-creative (depressed) mood I've been in for the last couple of months. I guess time will tell. This week, though, I've been doing a bit more writing than I have in a while.
Nope. Fuck all of that. Got inspired to do an audio version of Occupied and spent the weekend on that. Just resubmitted the story with the audio file attached, and hopefully it should be live in a little while.
Some things are worth the wait.

Flash EroticaSo my competition entry is live...my second foray into Ancient Egypt! https://www.lushstories.com/stories/first-time/princess-rainat-and-the-lush-papyri-3
It's a mixture of sex and silliness at the pharaohs court!
And now, looking at the next chapter of my 'Memoirs of a coin" series, next chapter in my sexual autobiography and an idea for a world cup story but I'd better get a move on with that one!
In Ancient Egypt, a piece of art inspires a young royal.
First TimeFour weeks, one massive rewrite, and three new stories that have been collecting dust since April. Check, check, and check. The third new story is now in the queue, ‘Fucking Sleeping Pills’.
This is my first attempt at light-hearted, sexy humor. And yes, I added an author’s note making it clear that none of the characters who engage in sex consumed any sleep aids (or other questionable drugs).
Now I just need to finish my comp entry, tentatively titled ‘Ruined: Cum and Oil on Canvas’. Then I plan on taking a break so I can properly enjoy the last few weeks of summer.
I've got several stories I am working on simultaneously. One of them is for the latest story competition. We shall see if I can get it to be what I want it to be. It keeps morphing.
I am also working on another episode for Mac and Grace, as well as the long-promised The Office Whore Part 60. I can't leave it at 59... LOL!
And, of course, HWH 30 because, again, I can't leave it at 29 parts.
Then there are the two stories I've been writing for several months now. One is a steampunk (not my strong suit), and the other is a story for the occupations genre. Both of these are part of my attempt to make sure I have at least two stories in every category.
So many stories, so little time. But the words are flowing again, so I'm a happy girl!
Caged - Who knew she would enjoy being put on display?
I'm wondering why there have been so few stories published over the past five days: 16, 7, 13, 9, 6. I was trying to time my next submission to avoid the usual glut of 17 stories posted in an hour, but now I don't know what to think.
I am following up my relatively popular story Pegging Cards with two similar stories, Trivial Hirsute and Strap Poker, thereby creating the series You Bet Your Ass! which always results in a strap-on pegging session for the hapless Chet.
I am also working on my Fornicator series about the hookup app 4N1K8R. Chapter 4 is ready to publish, 5 & 6 are coming along nicely. It's nice to write some short-ish modern tales for a change; around 50 of my stories are set in a historical storyverse spanning 96 years from 1892 to 1987, and that can be exhausting.

Just keep in mind that these are numbers of published stories. And if you're counting on the front page, these numbers might not include IF stories. But lest you think mods aren't hard at work, many stories don't get approved on the first pass. On any given day when I am modding, there are typically several that need to be returned for some additional attention from the author.

I want to clarify that I am in no way implying that the volunteer mods are slacking. ❤️

I'm just happy whenever my nonsense negotiates its way across the swamp and back after its trip to Lush Towers. I'm very appreciative of those who make it possible...but those are only my expectations, of course.

I'm a big fan myself of strip games as a vehicle for sexy stories, and have written several, variously using Poker, Crazy Eights and Scrabble as the choice of game. Based on the name alone, Trivial Hirsute will have my full, immediate attention, and I'm wishing I'd thought of the title.

In the right spot, that could be worth up to 96 points by my figuring. The words played in My Scrabble story were quite a bit naughtier than "jailbait," however.

Oh, I have two stories.... a competition entry as a tribute to the preface of my favourite book. I have had a riot with it, with lines like: "Fournier is a closeted homosexual who tries to write as a woman." I think the heat has got to me. 😜 It's looking okay, 4,980 words, and now nit-picking (my husband says this - he just wants me for something else).
I am in the last few edits for the final part of a trilogy. Of Flames and Light. This one is for me, proving that I can take something a few years old, wrestle with it, and finish it. I am so glad I did, my writing lately is not as good as I want it to be. It's given me confidence again.
We write to taste life twice: in the moment and in retrospection - Anais Nin.
Would you like to read how I've tasted life? These are my stories.
Little Bird - A couple and their younger lover explore what it is to be submissive and dominant. A true story.
These Walls Talk - A young woman with intense sexual fantasies finds herself lodging in a house with an over-sexed couple.
Of Flames and Light - An artist resists the attentions of an enigmatic man who only wants to watch her sketch.
Finally submitted Heartbombing the Heartland, my competition entry.
Now, back to Steam Mates, my Steampunk story, which is coming along but (as initially happened to Heartbombing) has gotten way too long by the half-drafted stage. Going to have to scale back the dialogue and historical detail, but I think it will be ... well, steamy.
Given the contest, I may also finally finish Ool Arty, an art-related watersports story I've had churning in the background for several years.
