I wrote an ending because I had the thought; now I'm writing backward. I like what I wrote, and I thought the Elena/Emily story was strong, but this one. I actually have to stop because I'm tearing up.

I do that when I realise I have run out of tea bags and/or biscuits.
I have a knack for getting attached to characters, especially ones that I use across multiple stories, so yeah, when I give them a good ending (or even a good new story), tears can happen. Tana the Healer, a character in three fantasy stories I wrote that are on StoriesSpace (Lush's sister site for non-erotic writing) is one. Love the ending I gave her.
