It's been interesting to me how many people now identify as "straight" but are actually open to same-sex sex. When I was younger, even the slightest inclination made you bisexual by definition. Apparently the new form of bisexual erasure is to define it really narrowly.

Some of these folks are very open to sex with the same sex, but of course have zero romantic interest in the same sex. But the thing is, bisexual does not mean biromantic. I'm wondering if they're just getting their terms mixed up.

Personally, I officially identify on here as bi-curious rather than bisexual because I have very, very little sexual experience with men. But I have always known I had bisexual desires. Until about the age of fifty, those desires were strictly sexual, often focused on the penis only. More recently, I've thought that if I were single today, I'd at least be open to dating men in addition to fucking them, and some of my more recent stories explore that.
