Message telling me to update my email address

Sorry if this is in FAQ but I have a message recently appeared on my home page telling me to update my email address as you are having trouble advising me of notifications. The email address that you have is the one that I have had since I joined Lush (or soon after) - please advise. Thank you

Have you checked settings? Is email correct before and after the @emailproviderhere[dot]com

Yes, the address in settings is correct and I received emails from Lush earlier in the day yesterday. The message appeared later when I look at 'Activity' on my Home page.

If necessary I can create a new email account but nothing has changed from my end.

Further to this, I have created and registered a new email address for my Lush correspondence and all now seems to be well. I do not understand why there were problems with the existing address but, apparently, the problem is now solved. Thank you

Further, further to the above, I have received two PM's whilst not logged in but got no email notification so not sure why I bothered creating a new email address.

edit-now four messages received but no email notification, anyone any idea please why I firstly get advised to create a new email account but when I do (and get an email confirming it) I do not get notifications?

Just found the answer to the 'edit' above, apparently I had supposed to change the email settings too so maybe I will get notifications in future.

Yes but if you're active on lush, you will not get email notification about message. It's not like V.1.

And it's always a good idea to take screenshots when an issue occurs.

If you don't know how, search it on YouTube or by using your favorite search engine.

Just been told to update my email address again!

The email address is the email address that I changed to last time I was told to update from an existing (and correct) email address.

Shall I go back to the first correct email address?

The above still applies.

I have a message on my 'Activity' page saying that you are having trouble emailing me and suggesting that I go to settings and make sure that the email address is correct and consider changing.

Firstly the email address IS correct it is the address that I changed to when I got this message three months ago, changing from a then CORRECT address.

I tried to change the address today anyway and it said that a code would be sent to my 'new' address to enable me to activate it-no code was sent.

Please advise.

I decided to create yet another email address and it seems that this one has been accepted by you although the previous two were fine and worked perfectly, until I got a message saying that they didn't!

Problem solved, for the moment.

I now have another message on my 'Home' page telling me to update my email address AGAIN.

I still have the current email address that you have registered and the previous perfectly good one that you asked me to change but now it seems you want me to create another one?

It is less than four months since this last happened.

Probably I will have no choice other than to create ANOTHER account but why please?

Maybe I will try reverting to the first perfectly good one, we shall see.

It looks like you may well have fixed it thank you because the message telling me to update the email address has disappeared.

I suppose that I will not know for sure until I get an email (when not logged in) telling me that I have a message.

It was the third different time that it had happened to me-at intervals of about four months.

Until I get an email saying that I have a message I will not know for sure that it is fixed but the signs are good!

Yes, I have checked and rechecked that email settings request instant email if a message received.

John-I got an email a little while ago (instant) saying that I had a message although I got messages earlier in the day when not logged in without getting emails. All APPEARS to be well now thank you. Paul

I now have the 'update your email' message AGAIN.

This is the fourth time, please advise or better still, if you can, please stop it keep happening.

For the moment I will leave my email unchanged.

I will report this and advise back in due course.

I will create another email account if I have to but this happens to me quite regularly-I don't know if anyone else gets similar problems.

As I said before, if the only drawback is that I do not get emails telling me that I have messages then that is no big deal but if I am also missing out on something else then getting it sorted would be nice. Thank you

Edit-Interestingly having just raised a ticket on another issue I received an email acknowledgement to the email address that I am being told needs to be updated and, by definition, is not recognised by LUSH.

Hi Paul. I have no update on the email issue. I believe the problem now with members being asked to upgrade, when they already have gold, is a new bug. I have reported it to the development team.
