Also wanna see Get Out.

Before I Fall. It was pretty good.

I have a new story out! Wish You Were Here A teasing sub may I have pushed too far, but the punishment is oh so sweet.

If you haven't already, please check out my story with leftlingula. A husband and wife rediscovered each other and It all started with one simple word...
Nightshade Part 1 & Nightshade: Part 2

I think I watched Woman in Gold last. I really enjoyed it. And I want to see Wonder Woman!
watched the black panther teaser trailer like a GAZILLION times - SO ready for february 2018!!!

Say. Her. Name.

Just watched the doco, I am Jane Doe, on Netflix. Damn, America. What the fuck?

And I really enjoyed War Machine with Brad Pitt. He played it brilliantly. You can't just talk the talk, you actually have to walk the walk. I'll have to check out the book now to see how that version played out. Fascinating stuff.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.
Wonder Woman

Fucking awesome!!!
I just saw Wonder Woman, It was so brilliant, One of the best D.C. universe films that they have made

I just saw King Arthur: Legend of The Sword.

After the deluge of horrendous critical reviews, I came into this expecting a figurative cinematic garbage fire. I took a pass on seeing it in the theatre and instead opted to wait download it for free, complete with annoying Korean subtitles.

After watching, I was pleasantly surprised. I actually wished I would have seen it the theater. (Yes I spell theatre both ways.)

I love Guy Ritchie’s other movies, especially Snatch and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and I was delighted to find aspects of that style in this movie (Even though the dialogue would probably better suited to 1995 East London, rather than 6th century Britain.) I could actually have done without the huge CGI battle scenes and would have thoroughly enjoyed a Dark Age version of Snatch taking place in the dirty streets of post-Roman Londinium.

If I have a complaint, it’s that the entire movie seemed rushed. Either the entire cast and crew were on cocaine… or the studio made them cut the run time in order to fit into the more audience-friendly 120 minutes or so.

After reading the negative reviews, they can generally be summed up in one sentence.

“This isn’t how King Arthur is supposed to be.”

Of course this isn’t traditional Arthurian Legend, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyable. It’s hard to get historical movies right. It’s hard to get fantasy movies right. Combine the two and you’re bound to piss off someone. This is a re-imagining with an obviously intended different tone.
This movie is fine. Maybe not “175 million dollars fine” but I’ve certainly seen worse. I have a feeling that if there hadn’t been such a huge marketing push behind this film, the critical blowback wouldn’t have been nearly as harsh.

Saw the latest Pirates of the Caribbean, I was disappointed

I just got done watching Out Of The Dark on Netflix, which was actually pretty decent. I wasn't sure, but it's worth the watch.

One movie I'm really looking forward to seeing is Unfriended, but I'm sure it will be a disappointment. Most horror type movies are nowadays.

Unfriended is actually quite unique. Give it a try. It blends modern horror/thriller concepts with our issues of technology/social media etc. I don't like horror movies and this is definitely not a game changer, but if you are on the fence, I can certainly recommend it.
I just watched Eddie the Eagle. Bit of a discount Cool Runnings, but I really enjoyed it.

I watched American Psycho for the first time. I liked it. Especially the shower scene. LOL! Next will be Beguiled hopefully this weekend.
Saw --- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales...That was so awesome, especially in 3D...
Saw --- Now you see me 2...

Want to see --- Rough Night
The United Kingdom and Fences were the last 2 I watched. The next one I'll probably watch is the new Spiderman movie, cuz the guys want to see it.
Refreshing on Trainspotting right now... want to watch Trainspotting 2 tonight or tomorrow

Some lame Lifetime Movie Network featuring white upper-middle-class women in distress, with my younger daughter, late at night. It was spell-binding (insert smug sarcastic emoji here).

I think I saw that one too...

It was called "I want my kids back!"
1. Dunkirk. I'm up for anything that has Nolan's name attached to it and this is no different.
2. Baby Driver looks fun.
3. Spider-Man Homecoming. Cuz I'll always be a fucking kid at heart.
4. War of the Planet of the Apes

American Wrestler.

Very few movies are based on the sport of wrestling. (I'm talking actual wrestling, not Hulk Hogan stuff)

Aside from Foxcatcher (which I highly recommend) this is probably the only one I've come across. I'm pretty lenient on movies, but this one just made so many mistakes, I just can't recommend it. Unless you're taking a class in 80s sports movie cliches at your local community college.

It starts out okay with the background consisting of the Iranian revolution and subsequent exodus of a young Iranian teenager. What could be a very entertaining view into the sport of wrestling amongst the backdrop of the political turmoil of 1979 quickly devolves into a standard sports cliche ridden high school movie.

The high school scenes are so bad, it made me wonder if the people that wrote the script even went to school.

It's become a pet peeve of mine that most high school movies consist of 25 year olds playing 16 year olds spouting dialogue written by 55 year olds. Adult actors wearing letterman jackets bullying the new kid, who eventually gets the girl and wins everyone over. Haven't we progressed beyond this?

The fact that the protagonist is a refugee is a twist that could have this a slightly different twist, but the whole thing just conforms to every overused movie trope.

It was somewhat refreshing to see wrestling as opposed to football as the generic high school sport but everything else just falls flat.

I want to watch Baby Driver.
Kissing your lips while straddling your lap.
LOGAN was so good. I can't lie...I cried twice and won't give it away for those who haven't watched it.
Well, I'm on fourth of July shutdown now. As a tradition, I watch all my favorite action movies. The Die Hard series, Lethal Weapon series, John Wick, Taken movies, Mission Impossible movies, and many other favorites.
Baby Driver was incredible. Every minute of it, except maybe the last ten. But still, one of the best of the year for sure.

Planning on seeing it later today - not the kind of movie i usually go for, but i've heard good things about it.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

4. War of the Planet of the Apes

Early review that I saw (not sure where the reviewer had seen it) was excellent. I still have to see the first two in the trilogy but as a longtime fan of the Planet of the Apes (going back to original movies and TV series in the seventies, my avatar is at least partly a nod to that) I've been pleased to see that someone put some solid effort into it.
