If there's enough demand, we'll add it.

Personally I think there are enough categories- office sex could fit into numerous categories already, a quickie, oral, seduction, fetish...
Where would it end? A 'car sex' category? 'First class rail carriage' category? 'Doctor's surgery, over the birch effect desk
with those vertical blinds that never quite close properly' category??

I'm wondering, at this rate, why we have a Fetish genre. It seems like everything is starting to have it's own genre.
And also, if we're on the same path. I still think we should have a DILF and BBW categories.
Surely there are enough people on Lush who like both.
Edit:
I didn't see this until now, but I agree 100%

I vote no, as I am trying to earn the omnium badge, have quite a way to go. By adding more categories it only diminishes the strive toward that badge.
Also, those who had the badge before the addition of the 6 new categories should have been able to keep the badge as they had written in ALL the categories prior to the addition of those 6 categories.... Very unfair to take that away from them after they had attained it.
I am now very discouraged to even continue working toward that badge. So my novel will be the last category I write in and will stay in the categories I wrote in prior to my quest for that badge.

Although I agree that it may be slightly unfair to move the goal posts for receiving a badge, my overruling feeling is that this is a social site and meant to be fun. Striving to achieve the goal of getting a badge is great, but ultimately in the grand scheme of things receiving a badge or not shouldn't lead to negative feelings. I'd hope that people would write for the love of telling a a good story, not just so that they may get a badge.
I can also see where the people who talk of concern of getting too many categories are coming from, but I think that any way in which we can help the reader find what topic of story they enjoy easier, then it can only be a good thing for the site.
