Boil the skinned chicken with ginger, garlic, celery, five-spice powder, black peppercorns, salt. Fry raw rice in the fat from the chicken skin, with some chopped onion and garlic. Steam the rice in the stock from the boiled chicken. Carve chicken, serve on a bed of salad sprinkled with soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped coriander leaves, sliced spring onions. Dip in chilli sauce (chilli, garlic, a touch of rice vinegar, salt). Strain the stock to make a light broth, to drink on the side or pour over the rice.

Not recommended to have sex too soon after eating this. Garlic. Your partner won't thank you.

My recipe program has 128 chicken recipes and no I did not buy it with them there. These are recipes I have used repeatedly. So I can't say I have a favorite method but I would suggest that BOILING never be one of the methods. Boiling chicken turns it rubbery in the final product. If you are cooking chicken for soups or casseroles you should never cook in water above a simmer. It takes longer I know but it does not make it rubbery. I had a chicken, ham, ziti alfredo casserole tonight. ,mmmmmmmmmm
