Re-reading a Canadian Classic - Anne of Green Gables.

On my urging, I had my son read it so he could compare it to the new series. He loved it!


In honor of Canada's 150 Birthday, CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, has re-produced the
a series, called Anne, based on Lucy Maud Montgomery's quintessentially Canadian classic.

The actors, especially the three that play Anne, Marilla, and Matthew, are fucking amazing. The balancing act
the brother and sister have is phenomenal. Gut wrenching. Adopting Anne, and have her take their last
name, so she is now Anne Shirley Cuthbert was highly emotional. A precocious 13-year old girl's first family.

Megan Follows was always the Anne for me, but this young lady has made this character her own. Just like
both Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger both did with the Joker. Holy hell of a huge talent she is.

Just watched episode #3 of season one. Episode #4 this Sunday.

Lassiter the new Scribe Virgin!! That was shocking!! I laughed so hard.

So the next book will be the Thieft, Assail and Sola.. I was hoping for V and Jane, she said there is another book so I'm excited!! and Mhurder is coming back!!!!

ROFL but to quote him, he isn't a virgin, and he hates writing lol I laughed so hard. I can't wait till the brothers find out, especially Vishous.

I think it is Assail and Sola next. I want Vishous to be with someone else, I've never liked him being with Jane. She's been saying for a while now that Mhurder is coming back, he hasn't so far though, and that will bring the focus back on John and Xhex and there have been too many books now on their relationship IMHO.

I liked the book but didn't you think it was a bit forgive and forget too fast? I imagined Wrath and Xcor being more proud and stubborn than that to just let things be so quickly tbh.

Did you read Dragonmark by Sherrilyn Kenyon? I was furious; I can't believe she was allowed to do that. I left such a shitty review. I won't buy her books again; I will wait to read them free online after that because her books are never cheap.
