Can somebody please give one possible reason why North Korea would send nuclear missiles to Australia?

Now that’s a bit harsh!. The Bee Gees were world wide stars and a perfect example of how you can make $$$ by wearing pants that are too tight. I have highlighted the money making genius on the picture provided. Clearly, those jeans need to come down. A bit. I think they could have distributed their hair between themselves more evenly though.

Time to take out North Korean leadership. They are mini Hitlers with Nuclear capability. Hitler would have used the capability had he possessed it. The North Korean leadership will too.

Might I remind you that the United States also used their nuclear weapons capability the moment they possessed it.

It is my understanding that Kim Jong Un has missiles, and he has a nuclear device, but he does not have re-entry vehicle technology, so any warheads he launches will disintegrate upon re-entry into the atmosphere. For the time being, that makes him impotent in the nuclear threat department.

How do we know that for sure? Isn't it better to be prepared for a worst case scenario? He's unstable at best. He's a liar, a cheat and doesn't like not getting his own way.

100% agree with that. Absolutely true for both Kim and Donald.

In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

"rocket man kim" will not stop until he is top dog in the world . Thank God for Donald Trump because any other president in the 21st century would have give in to him . Don has the gonads to stand up to him. Kim is a horrible dictator hell bent on ruling the world .

It's called falsetto, not alto in this case.

Yes... but Donald isn’t threatening to blow up most of the rest of the world just because they are allies of the US, and/or impose sanctions against North Korea.
Neither is Kim. He threatens to respond to aggression, just like Trump does. And when Trump boasts that he has a bigger red button than Kim, like he did this past week, he IS threatening with nuclear war.

Are you defending Kim? Poor Kim, Donald said he has a bigger red button. Wow that had to hurt.

I saw a meme that said you should eat gummi bears two at a time so they don't have to die alone. But they are safe around me... I don't like them.

Meanwhile ... what do we do about North Korea?.

Do we just step back and accept that they are going to be a nuclear state?. I think that if there is to be no meaningful dialogue it's either that or 'boom'!. Of course American prestige will evaporate in some parts of the world if we do back down. Makes that twit in North Korea a greater hero than Bin Laden to our enemies. Successive Administrations seem to have backed us in to a corner. Even if we do back down, and try to manage north Korea the way we did the USSR [we did win that Cold War.. least I think we did], will that work aginst NK and do we have the patience?.

Any ideas on what we do next?. Do we have any Members from Japan, South Korea, or the Pacific Islands reading this I wonder?. Love to hear what their opinions are.

I think China and Russia will go on supporting NK as long as it suits their political agendas. Demeaning America on the international stage suits those agendas I think. Plus China likes having a buffer state between it and South Korea, which I think it sees as an extension of the USA.

Conundrum and then some.

consumers get together ..give up Chinese goods...north Korea problem solved... But as they say do we have patience..

I'm not defending either one of them. There's a difference between assessing him and defending him. Kim said that he can strike and that he won't hesitate to answer aggression. That's a warning, not a threat. A smart leader, looking to maintain the peace would respond with a message that conveys something in the line of: "Relax, let's resolve this like wise men. I won't strike if you won't. Now, can we talk?".

Sadly, they're desperately defending something that requires them both to outboast the other, Kim to secure and retain his grip on his people, Trump to prove that he's stronger and better than Kim, not because that benefits his country, but because it boosts his ego.

The Kims have shown for three generations by now, that what they really want, is to hang on to their ivory tower of power. As long as no-one attacks them there, they'll continue doing just that. They'll leave South Korea alone, they'll leave the rest of the world alone. As soon as that's threatened though, either from within or from outside NK, they'll strike back, with all they have, because they'll rather lose everything, than lose power. If they can't have it, no-one will. The smart thing to do is to let them be. Eventually that tower will fall. Either the people will tear it down or if will crumble under its own weigh. Throughout history that has been the fate of every totalitarian regime before the Kim dynasty.

Oooohhh. I keep forgetting. Trinks has to be the only non-cool person from Australia that I've come across though. (Unless you count Queensland).
Kim Jong-un has agreed to shut one of North Korean's launch sites.
It all depends on your point of view.
