What is the funniest series you've ever seen?

Fawlty Towers

Your favourite artist/painting?

My grandmother was a juried watercolor artist, and I have several of her paintings framed and hanging in our home.

Something you bought off of Ebay, or similar site?

Many!

Ever belonged to a book club?

A sci-fi book club when I was a kid.

Many of Norman Rockwell's Saturday Evening Post covers original paintings.

Do you have a credit/debit card with an RFID chip and do you shield it with a RF blocking wallet or purse to keep hackers from scanning it?

Yes and yes, have had them for years.

Do you leave any of the windows open in your house all day and night?

No. Lotsa animals around here. Some of them scary. Some of them human.

Do you have the fan on all night long?

Yes.

Do you leave any of your house doors open 24x7?

No. I used to leave the back door unlocked, but modern American life convinced me to start locking it.

Do you have an alarm system in your home?

...and a moat, and a portcullis, and molten oil poised to pour from the gargoyles in case you manage to breech the drawbridge.

Where in your home do you keep your most valuable possession?

Within my arms 😉

Do you like sleeping with windows open ?

Would, but too dangerous.

Do you leave keys in your automobiles 24 x 7?

Nope, never. My cars both have keyless entry and ignition (just a fob) now anyway so I just leave it in a coat pocket or with my wallet.

Do you hide an "emergency key" to your house somewhere outside? (yes, my parents used to do this)

No.

Do you leave your keys in your pocket/purse when you enter your home or throw them in a dish by the door?

In my pocket.

How man keys do you have on your keychain?

8, but a couple are master keys that open up a few hundred different rentals we manage.

Have you ever had to replace a car key fob?

Yes. It's sort of expensive. You can copy an actual key for a few bucks or more or less, but when I had to buy a new fob, it cost about $70, if I recall correctly.

How much older than you was the oldest person you've had sex with?

10 or 11 years older than me.

What's your optimum age for a sex partner relative to your age?

If we are talking just sex, maybe 10-15 years younger to 5 or so years older. For a relationship, though, it would be tighter, maybe +/- 5 years.

Do you prefer to be the older person in a relationship or the younger?

Older. Although my boyfriend for 18 years is 4 years older than me.

What feature of the old Lush format do you miss the most?

It emphasized the list of stories on a writer's profile page.

What aspect of the new Lush do you like best?

The Gallery lets me find new members and even long-established members I never knew about when they upload new pictures.

Do you have favorite forum posters whom you enjoy learning more about through their answers?

Yeah! You, for one

Do you have favorite forum posters because their answers are frikkin bonkers?

Beffer is my favorite forum poster, and, while her answers may not be frikkin bonkers, they're often pretty funny and/or intriguing. And I do look for her answers in the forums to learn more about her.

I miss the ability to send instant messages to other members when I see them online.

Do you ever wish you could change your gender?

Permanently, no. But I'd love to be a woman for a week, just to experience it. As the old joke goes, I'd probably never leave the house.

What, besides your family, has been the biggest influence on your life?

My residential advisor in college, who became my savior, my best friend, then my lover, then my photographer, and finally, my life partner.

What's more important in a life partner? Great sex, or great compatibility?

The latter.

What's your top three signs/reasons that you should end a relationship?

Jealousy, lying, selfishness.

Would you and your lover agree on what your worst flaw is?

I believe so.

Would you stay in a relationship that has no label?
