Mine was Motley Crüe in 1989(I think!) a last minute decision to go, a friend and I drove to the NEC in Birmingham, bought a ticket from a tout, and witnessed the best live performance I have ever seen!! Tommy lee's drum solo rocked the place into a frenzy, and writing this the hairs still stand on the back of my neck.
The concert of pots and pans of my niece.yQ4tcFSQmQRAlyef
The Best concert I ever saw Pink Floyd's Division Bell in 1994 at Earls Court ...
Everything about it was unforgettable. The atmosphere was just electric, ... Just awesome
MUSE....because they are just fucking rock gods and are even better live
Billy Joel ...... He still managed to do one hell of a gig.
My Karma just ran over your Dogma
Perhaps not quite what you have in mind, but it was 1988(ish) and it was the Toronto Symphony Orchestra during one of their best periods doing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. No piece of music, past or present, can beat the Ninth for me and this was a wonderful pefformance of it.
Jimi Hendrix 1970 at the Isle Of Wight as he was dead 3 weeks later.
Bruce Springsteen/Pink Floyd, it's a tie.
Bruce - Close to four hours of pure, intense, electric energy.
Pink Floyd - What can you say about the philosophers of Rock n Roll. As close to perfection as any band will ever get.
Foo Fighters. Who said Rock & Roll was dead??
Aerosmith at the House of Blues in New Orleans, very small, private concert, got to meet the band, it was AWESOME!!!!!
3 different...
Queen (phenomenal)
Tony Bennett (legendary)
Andre Rieu and his Strauss orchestra (great music and showmanship)
Kiss this past summer because well they're kiss don't think that requires anymore explanation lol
I will say my first Bruce Springsteen concert. I was a junior in high school.
We had really great seats and the show was like 4 hours. I saw him many more
times. But, the first time was definitely the best.
xo
Elton John & Billy Joel together. They worked in unison and had so much stage energy.
