Mine was Motley Crüe in 1989(I think!) a last minute decision to go, a friend and I drove to the NEC in Birmingham, bought a ticket from a tout, and witnessed the best live performance I have ever seen!! Tommy lee's drum solo rocked the place into a frenzy, and writing this the hairs still stand on the back of my neck.

The Best concert I ever saw Pink Floyd's Division Bell in 1994 at Earls Court ...
Everything about it was unforgettable. The atmosphere was just electric, ... Just awesome

Actually, don't remember a lot about the concerts ive been to. But, id' have to say Alice Cooper. He puts on an incredible stage show.
Billy Joel ...... He still managed to do one hell of a gig.

OMG!!!! what are we gonna do with her?
Perhaps not quite what you have in mind, but it was 1988(ish) and it was the Toronto Symphony Orchestra during one of their best periods doing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. No piece of music, past or present, can beat the Ninth for me and this was a wonderful pefformance of it.

Hey Scott

I did say "for me". Muse just isn't my cuppa, I'm afraid. For a modern band, I'd rather see Arcade Fire or Walk Off The Earth.

back at ya'.
Jimi Hendrix 1970 at the Isle Of Wight as he was dead 3 weeks later.
Bruce Springsteen/Pink Floyd, it's a tie.
Bruce - Close to four hours of pure, intense, electric energy.

Pink Floyd - What can you say about the philosophers of Rock n Roll. As close to perfection as any band will ever get.
Foo Fighters. Who said Rock & Roll was dead??
Aerosmith at the House of Blues in New Orleans, very small, private concert, got to meet the band, it was AWESOME!!!!!
Meat Loaf 2005 in NYC

aerosmith is way up there for me too...seen them 3 times and should have been 5 if steven tyler hadn't gotten "sick" twice...

i probably have a 3-way tie--

the rolling stones in '06 and garth brooks this past november--both of those i had been dying to see forever, and i finally got to, and they didn't disappoint.

and

the darkness in may 2012--loved them since "permission to land" and i got to see them in a small venue, i was right at the stage. best view i've ever had for a "real" concert.

I am so fucking jealous..................unfortunately I was only 1 when Jimi died. You are so lucky to have had that experience.

For my favorite there is no way I can pick one so I'll go with Iron Maiden World Slavery Tour in 1985 in NY because not only was it an amazing show as all Maiden shows are, but I lost my virginity right after the show!
I will say my first Bruce Springsteen concert. I was a junior in high school.

We had really great seats and the show was like 4 hours. I saw him many more
times. But, the first time was definitely the best.

Elton John & Billy Joel together. They worked in unison and had so much stage energy.
