I'm thinking a Cherry Coca-Cola-vanilla ice cream float with about 3 good shots of Jack Daniels in it.

Cheers y'all!
I like vanilla too. I like it with chocolate syrup and pecan bits. Or I like it in a root beer float, cherry Coke float, or cherry Dr Pepper float. I also like it on my wife, along with a lot of syrups and whipped cream.
Bill, that close prediction was right on Tennesse vs GA Tech. 42-41 Final after the 2nd OT. Tech went for 2 and didn't make it.
What? Has no one attended a naked stand-up comedian show at a nudist resort before?

Buz, I'm still in awe at the Aggies choke. Who are you picking in tonight's Tennessee vs Georgia Tech game?

Hmmm... Georgia Tech vs Tennessee? It will be close. Tennessee has like a billion more fans than GA Tech but Tech fans are literate. And Tennesse fans are anything but trim. Been eating way too much possum stew. If Tech loses, their fans disappear faster than a magician's rabbit. There could be a few fights in the stands. If so, that would go Tennessee's way for sure.

Is there a way they can both lose? haha On the field, I'm going to go with Tennessee by a field goal or less. Tech's triple option is a pain in the ass for defenses but UT has had a few weeks to prepare. That triple option works best with only a weeks notice, which is really only a couple of days of actual hitting in practice. But if Tech has the right QB to run that option stuff, their offense is very potent. Tech's offensive line is based on cut blocking. They attempt to do it legally or they say they do. I just don't like the idea of blocking at the knees. Each block is barely inches from being illegal, so how many miss the mark and how are the refs supposed to catch all that at full game speed? It's a dirty way to play if you ask me.

There will be about 76,000 in attendance. Consider Tech is always outnumbered by visiting fans in their own 55,000 seat stadium across town when they play UGA, Clemson, and Florida State. And Tennessee will bring half their state looking to buy up any available tickets. Ouch! A sea of orange has already converged on the city.

There are people from DragonCon still left in town...

I know of the yearbook or annual. It was a bigger deal in high school because there were about 1200 students in my high school and nearly all had a picture in it. There were 36,000 students at my university. So the university annual only had a fraction of the students pictures. You could purchase the printed version or the CD version. And the university yearbook was probably most popular with Greeks (sorority and fraternity members).

Buz, I've just finished watching the Aggies blow a 34 point, third quarter lead to lose to UCLA, 45-44. This was not a good weekend for Texas college football.

I guess every fan experiences seeing their team choke at some point but that Aggie choke is the new record isn't it?

I was with my granddad to see the Dawgs get behind Drew Brees and Purdue 0-25 in the 2000 New Year's Day Outback Bowl. The ended up winning that game in overtime 28-25. That was the Bowl come back record at the time. That record has been broken more than open since. The year before I was with my dad, granddad, uncle, and cousins at the Peach Bowl and we saw Georgia get behind Virginia by 23 points before the Dawgs came back and eventually won. I've seen my Dawgs choke a few times too. Notably last season to a hated rival. Ugh!

You may remember TCU losing to Oregon 31-0 at halftime in their bowl game last year and then came back to win in the second half. I enjoyed seeing that on TV.

It is wild to see such a total shift in momentum swing the other way.

How you all are? Me, I'm still recovering from yesterday's college football gluttony. Buz's beloved Georgia Bulldogs took care of pesky, Appilachian State while my LSU Tigers held BYU scoreless with minus five yards rushing. Tonight, DD's Virginia Tech Hokies (ask her about that, not me) will face the Mountaineers of West (by God) Virginia.

Hi Rumpy, yes, it was a great fun day in Athens. We had a great tailgate party and the game was a lot of fun. I saw your LSU Tigers totally shut down BYU on TV.

It looks like VT and WVU are having a knock down drag out of a battle.

College football is here!
I would guess once he pumps it up, it would stay up as long as felt like going, right?

I'm booked in to see this guy, next week.

He seems to have a gentle empathic nature:

Can you imagine what this guy does for Erectile Dysfunction?

First things firt...any top ten list of college mascots that does not, I say again, NOT, include that damn Stanford tree is okay by me, he says with not one but two, 'harumps'.

I'm a college football fanatic and didn't even know about Stanford's tree. Sounds like Stanford. A tree for a mascot? What a bunch of wussies. I bet their students would be traumatized if they hear someone call them wussies, and have to bring in counselors. Hand 'em a tissue. ha

Georgia Moon ain't for wussies... straight up with ice water chaser. Whoa damn!

Ya wanna see a pic of my boyfriend's cock, oh ye of little faith?

So, he's braided. smile

I'm sure you've got pictures of it. I also bet you've got at least a pencil sketch of it, if not a watercolor.
I've been doing pencil finger curls with a finger sized barbell.
I don't believe any of y'all. I think you all like Duck Dynasty balls beards so long the guy can't wear shorts. I can see Bethany braiding one of those.
On my fourth cup of coffee...

Good morning all. Hoping y'all have a great weekend. Cheers!
While the Batman villains, who are splendid in their psychological problems, most villains are the product of slowly breaking down their moral character. And almost any character can become a villain. Even if the 'good' protagonist is developed right, they should be villainous to a degree. Some of the best villains who morphed into their villainy over time are religious leaders, politicians, etc. Those who've lost touch with their original intent. A great villain is one who started good and becomes villainous.
I agree. The Batman series does such a great job with villains. The villains in Batman are truly creative and you hit the nail on the head on how they are based on psychological conditions. If I were an actor, I'd love playing a villain.

A great classic western with a tremendous villain is 'Who Shot Liberty Valance'. Lee Marvin was new to Hollywood at the time, and the movie credits say Introducing Lee Marvin. He was awesome as Liberty Valance, and he called everyone 'dude'. He had a great deep voice that worked so well for the part and he was very animated. I really appreciate old films.

Ice cold beer for everyone! Cheers! USA Today's weekly poll was for the #1 college football mascot in America and was a runaway vote. The battle was for runner-up. The overwhelming choice for top mascot in the USA is Uga, the English Bulldog of the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Go Dawgs! Sic 'em! Woof! Woof!

1. Uga, Georgia Bulldogs
2. Brutus, Ohio State Buckeyes
3. Albert and Alberta, Florida Gators
4. Ralphie, Colorado Buffaloes
5. Bucky, Wisconsin Badgers
6. Dubs, Washington Huskies
7. Sebastion the Ibis, Miami Hurricanes
8. Sparty, Michigan State
9. Tusk, Arkansas Razorbacks
10. HokieBird, Virginia Tech Hokies

Buz, I've been listening to some college football podcasts and most of the guess-perts are picking either your Dawgs or the lizards in the east. In the west, 'Bama is the universal favorite with Auburn given the best chance for upsetting the Tide while my Bayou Benglas have third-place just about locked up.

Two days and a wake-up. Bring it on!

Can't let those damn Auburnoids get there. My Dawgs have whipped them 8 out of the last 10 years. I guess The Battle of the Tigers goes back to Baton Rouge this season, loudest stadium in college football. That place is scary. I thought LSU got shafted by the refs in Auburn last year. What a crock? Then when Auburn came to Athens as heavy favorites to whip our ass, Dawgs fans got loud as hell. It was rocking and deafening Between the Hedges as the Dawgs shut Auburn down. That was our best game of the year, other than the bowl game against the TCU Horned Frogs or taking down the Cocks in Columbia.

I'd pick 'Bama too. Only an insane person wouldn't but I'd love to see someone upend them, just not Auburn.

Did you know that Georgia and Auburn both have never fielded a varsity football team that didn't play each other. And that started in 1892. i guess that's why it's called The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry.

We have all these named games: Georgia vs Florida, The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, and Georgia vs Georgia Tech, Clean Old Fashioned Hate.

Isn't LSU vs Ole Miss called The Magnolia Bowl? They should call LSU vs Alabama something, hell, people have gotten shot over that game.

In the always popular, 'Self-Promotion and Marketing' forum ever alert Lushers will find a new, semi-brillaiant thread, ' humorous stories not in the Humor category'. Since I'm the modest, self-effacing author, I include three examples of my own...just to prime the pump, so to speak.

One and all are invited to hurry thence and add some of their own 'humorous but not in the Humor' category stories for the enjoyment of the reading public.

Aside from its obvious pimping duties, the thread also got me to wondering if a 'Humor' contest has ever appeared on Lush? Which leads, as night doth the day, to the question of if it hasn't been tried, should it be considered?

This gin joint is now open for expressions of your sound wisdom, advice and bull shit.

BTW, anybody need a drink?

Rumpy, I'd read 2 out of 3 stories you provided links for, just added the third to my personal reading queue.

College football season is here. What's the chances my Dawgs can meet your Tigers (swamp kitties) in Atlanta's new Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the SEC Championship? I guess y'all got that damn Tide to deal with and we got those damn lizards from south of the border. Maybe get past those and do it this time. Your LSU fans are as loud if not louder than those orange hillbillies from Knoxville.

It's the SEC folks, we can call each other names cause it's a family thang. Yes, thang.

Go Dawgs! Sic 'em Woof! Woof!
